Just started watching RELOADED and I'm about halfway in wondering when things are going to get interesting. Right now its just a bunch of seperate filterlike episodes that don't really have much of a plot. I really loved Saiyuki and I just want to know if I'm going to be disopointed.
And the kitty was really cute but wheres the action

I actually like Reload more than I like the first season (not saying season 1 was bad!). There's a lot more character building and character oriented stories which I like. The side story with Nii and The Jade Empress also pick up and gives the whole thing an interesting twist!
Towards the end the boys do meet a formitable enemy which will give you some action but again it will also have a lot to do with character building.

I'm on ep. 8 right now. I'm not sure how to explain this bu it kinda seems like they're trying to make them "obviously cool" or something.....:/ And Hakuryuu sounds like a cat......and Komyou is blonde.......and I can't get that song out of my head. o.O Other than the crappy translations, I'm not complaining. 3nodding <3

Changed Account Saiyuki Reloaded will be released in the US Feb 8th 05 ( crying i'm so happy) Saiyuki Requiem is being released in the US jan 18th i believe.... Quoted for emphasis. Seriously though, folks, just wait and buy the official domestic discs (or at least rent them from Netflix.com)

Seriously though, folks, just wait and buy the official domestic discs (or at least rent them from Netflix.com) I've already purchase Reload from E-bay for 18 bucks, which is less than the price of one dvd released in America sweatdrop However- if you don't mind subs and couple dubbing errors... The preview of Requiem in newtype looked sweet, but as far as waiting for Reload Gunlock xp I can't!

I have the english release of Saiyuki Requiem already (I'm in Australia) and it's a region 1 disc, so it has to be American. It's released by ADL films (I randomly found it in a shop and immediately bought it) and it's a really good copy *is so pleased* So it must've been released by someone before the 18th, yes? (Since we get all our manga/anime at LEAST a month after the US gets it) Who's version are you all waiting to come out? (The official one, I suppose? But who's it by?)

The official version is by ADV Films. Yours may be bootleg, but I can't judge from thousands of miles away XD; I own a bootleg copy, but I'm still going to buy the official one on Tuesday!

Hmn... I just got in Japanese subtitled... the subtitles are really bad! Even with the minimal Japanese I speak I know somethings are wrong and the grammar is crap but I'm having fun watching it anyways and the changes in character design are funness!
But if it's coming out in English soon... bets are anime network is getting it ASAP since Requiem went up last week... Dougan scares me.
