It was pleasant enough out. Kabichi trotted along the grasslands, looking around. Since being attacked, she'd managed to sneak away, and hide Legeti deeper in the land, but they didn't have a den for both of them. She wasn't completely looking, however, and she was presently sniffing along in the grass, head bent low. She wasn't watching where she went, nor did she care to. There should be SOMETHING around, right? After a while, the cub began to paw at the ground carefully, still sniffing, and looked up. The area seemed more heavily populated by lions in the area, and she wasn't sure if she was intruding or not. She also knew she didn't want to see another angry lion again.

((*pokes her siggy for the picture* :3 ))
-Kami ambled slowly along, eyes drifting across the savvanah as she trekked through the grasses. She was technically 'on duty', sweeping through the lands to check up on those around.. find out how everyone was doing in these days of emotional stress. But for awhile now she'd seen noone, and slowly her mind had began to wander.
Ears twitching softly at the sound of shuffling, she looked for the cause, and finding none, peered more curiously for some sort of small prey, edging closer.-

Kabichi blinked, sniffing the air slightly, gulped. Was there someone else around? The cub trembled nervioiusly, then stood as high as she could, trying to stick her head as high above the grass as possible, ears upright.
This did not help much, and the lioness cub whimpered a little bit. Was the big nasty laughing mean things back?
"H...h...hello? Is someone there?"
She tried to get high again, and fell over backwards with a squeal. A bit too high!

((Sorry for the super delay dear!! Totally lost this in my list of things to answer. I'm not sure if I told you before, but feel free to rp her elsewhere as a pride member. She's been accept OOCly, so you're free to even before we finish this rp :3))
-Oh? Her ears twitched forward at the dual sounds, shuffling through the grasses. It was definately something small, but not so small as she'd imagined by the voice. Perhaps a pup.. or cub of some sort?
Pausing gently with the squeal, she called out softly, curiously, hoping not to startle whatever it was anymore.- "I'm here. Are you alright?" -And gently she waited, watches the grasses for a sign for her to move once again.-

((OK. ^^ Thanks.))
Kabi lay on her back in suprise a second before the voice called out. Both black-lined ears perked, and she rolled over, glancing towards the voice.
"I'm OK." She shook herself, then sniffed the air. Whomever it was, they sounded big. Hoping for the best, the cub trotted towards the smell, curiousity overtaking her fear of intruding.

"Well that's good." -She stated matter of factly, settling onto her rump as she heard the soft shuffle of the little one begin to travel through the grasses. Better to simply wait, then startle it again.
Ears flicked forward, tail curled gently around her body she sat as unthreatening as she could (not that she'd ever really been able to pull of threatening anyway.)
And softly she mused as she waited.- "My name is Kamilika, who are you?"

"I'm Kabichi!" Finally seeing the great goldren lioness in front of her, she came a close as she felt was safe/unoffending (Being a runt) and looked up, sitting.
"What are you doing?"
She worried a minute she may have been intruding, and lowered her ears nerviously.

-Ahhhh, a cub. Not like any she'd seen before however. Her markings quite unique and lovely.
She smiled softly to the cub, her mind drifting away to the days she'd wished she could be a nanny. And softly Kami gave a playful laugh, lowering her voice to a whisper.- "Well I'm supposed to be working. You won't tell on me that I'm not?"

Oh! She seemed nice. Kabi gave a smile to the older lioness.
"Nope! I won't!"
She felt better-- the older lioness wasn't angry, so the cub was relieved. She scooted a bit closer, and looked up contently.

"Well good then." -A pleasant smile curled upon the golden queen's maw, and she offered politely.- "Pleasure to meet you Kabichi."
"What are you doing out here? Playing around?" -Oblivious to the thought that it might not be true, she teased softly, tail flicking gently.- "Hopefully you're not straying off too far from your parents? They might worry."

Kabichi listened to the questions carefully, but the moment her parents were asked about, she hung her head low, looking down.
"I was just exploring. My parents... Aren't with me anymore."
She sighed, tail curling slightly as she recvalled the fateful day her she found her mother obviously slaughtered and her father unresponsive.
Now she REALLY hoped she wasn't intruding.

-Kami's ears settled backwards subconciously, the words hitting her harder then it would most, having lost both her own parents not so long ago. But this cub... she was so young..
Trying to draw forth a smile through the obvious worry on her face, she asked softly.- "Ohhh... do you have.. someone taking care of you then?" -She couldn't imagine a cub getting along for very long without help.. but if this one truely was alone in the world.. Maybe Kami could convince her to stay within the pride?
Even though it wasn't a family... Having friends.. people to rely on.. that was the next best thing.-

Kabichi looked thoughtful for a few minutes. She'd met a couple people, but actually living with older lions? Not really.
"No. I live alone with a puppy." Kabichi shook her head.
"My parents were rogues and I don't think they had siblings."

"That's not very safe..." -She stated matter of factly. Not really a scolding, simply a thought outloud.
Shifting to step forward, she gave the tiniest hint of a purr to hopefully ease the cub as she moved forward.- "A rogue life is a dangerous one, ecspecially when so little.. Perhaps.."
"Perhaps you'd do me the favor of staying here? Just until you're old enough to care for yourself."
-Her ears lifted softly, to hear the answer, but before it could be spoken she added lightly.- "There are plenty of children to play with here in the Pridelands. And the adults would help feed you and keep you safe. So all you'd have to worry about is playing and growing up."

Kabichi blinked, tilting her head.
"Are you sure? I don't want to impose." She blinked. The cub atleast knew to mind her manners. But she did appreciate the offer of warmth and safety...
