***WARNING*** Major Spoilers ahead!!!
I love that Anita does the dirty with Nathaniel in her office. I also love that she is okay with having sex while people are furry now!!!
I also loved the part where she really cut Primo(I think that's his name) from afar. I know she did it a little before, but this time it was kickass!!!
And I loved that she was able to raise a zombie with no sacrifice at all!!!
Fabulous. And I love that Richard has inherited a big chunk of Anitaness. Yeah! The only thing that would make me like Richard is him becoming like Anita.

whee Those two British vamps! One's gray eyed, one's got a cloak, and they both have ACCENTS!
XD And Bryon seems to have a little thing for Jean-Claude. Oh it's so yummy!

Haha, I love all the things mentioned.
I was so incredibly happy when Anita and Nathaniel. . .er. . .consumated their "love"? Lol, you know what I mean. That was awesome, because I've been a Nathaniel fan ever since he was first introduced in Burnt Offerings, and I've been rooting for him to hook up with Anita for so long now ^.^ I'm glad she's finally given him what he wants.
As for Anita, I'm happy to see that she is still gaining power. She continues to amaze me.
The new characters are all great, though some aren't introduced as well as I would like. I really like Requiem, Byron, and Graham - they each remind me of some of the other AB characters we don't see so much anymore.
I also can't believe that Richard is actually trying to deal with himself. That's really great; I'm starting to like him again. For a while there he was so lost in self-loathing that I thought it would take a miracle for him to come to terms with Anita (and Jean Claude, for that matter). He did it without one, though, so good for him.
Personally, I like the thought of Anita, Damian, and Nathaniel having a Triumvirate ^.^ That is so cool.
I'll stop now, because I'm sure I could think of so many things I enjoyed this time around, lol. I'm sure you can tell that I really like ID.

Plus...
The scene where they 'punish their bad kitty' in Guilty Pleasures (club, not book)
And the whole "I am VERY double-jointed" line... blaugh

Neko_Kitsuni I loved all the character development that Nathaniel went through. I think Anita really got more insight into how he felt, and I'm glad it finally worked out. Plus... The scene where they 'punish their bad kitty' in Guilty Pleasures (club, not book) And the whole "I am VERY double-jointed" line... blaugh You got my favorite thing in a nutshell...oooh Nathaniel I love that boy. And Anita/JC/Richard making 'nice' wasn't bad either. I'd like to see the three of them actually function as a triumverate.

Lol... yeah.
When I went to the signing, LKH was talking about how she has conversations with her characters when she's writing. It went something like this.
(To Richard, Anita, and JC)"Guys, please, I will do ANYTHING if you'll stop arguing, I'll let YOU do anything!"
JC: Anything?
Anita+Richard: NO!

I totally agree. Anita needs a human friend again. I was mad a couple of books back, with Ronnie. I just hope they stay friends.

See I so didn't like the whole Ronnie development. I haven't liked Ronnie at all since she has been such an a** about JC. You don't just dump a friend or dump on a friend just because of the person they choose to be with. I think Ronnie is wimpy and selfish and I really don't like how she always makes Anita feel bad that "the only two times she has had to kill someone is to save Anita's life." I really don't like her.

Wow, I never really saw her in that light...
Though after reading ID, she got on my nerves a lot. I mean, it's one thing to be so rude about JC, because even Anita was like that at first ("I don't date vampires, I kill them" and all that...). But anyone who dumps their emotional problems on Anita... sweatdrop gonk scream gonk sweatdrop
Doesn't she have enough of her own? Though it was lucky that Ronnie was at that particular club, I suppose... stare gonk
