Donner enters the arena, his long hair trailing at about midback now, hands stuffed into his pants pockets as he peers about, wondering who Catriona was.

Catriona walked elegantly, yet fearfully into the ring. This was it. Would she be sent to the dungeons to join her sisters? Would she win? Either way she would have to face dassan, and that didn't sit well with her. She glanced up at her opponent as she strode into the ring, giving him a gentle nod as she did so of luck.

"Forgive me for this, sir." she said softly, brushing a bit of hair away from her face before she opened her wings and suddenly shot towards him. Her attack looked like it would be one of great magnitude, but when she reached him, she only gently moved her staff towards him, as if only to barely touch him. "Gentle slash!"

Donnor stood perfectly still until the last moment, his eyes watching the female closely. He moved to the side, sidestepping the attack as it whooshed past him. "And forgive me, miss." He lifts his face up, face expressionless.
"Thunder Roar!"

If Catriona had not been battling, she might have laughed. However, the fact that she missed with her first attack ever made her slightly depressed. Just as she was about to dwell on it, his attack felt as if it nearly deafened her. She covered one of her ears and winced as the shockwave shot through her before using her wings to lift her slightly off the ground and pivot in the air, trying to hit him lightly with her staff again. "Gentle slash!"

The Golden Thunder drakechild winced and stumbled backwards, the attack slicing across his shoulder and cutting his hair tie loose, along with a few locks of his golden hair. He stares at the fallen hairs on the ground for a moment, his shoulder bleeding, leaving the limb partially useless now. He glances back up at the female and attacks.
"Thunder Roar!"

The attack hit Catriona harder than she had expected, and she shuddered at the shockwave ripped through her, her wings cringing a bit at the pain as she fell to the ground. She looked up at the male with a rather sympathetic look before rising to her feet and slicing towards him with the staff in one graceful motion. "Gentle slash!"
