So much stuff ran through his mind as he walked. Everything just didn't seem to make much sense anymore. The talk with his father seemed to make everything stick out more then it already did...Bairn couldn't figure out if that was a good thing or bad. His family was apart, his sister was no where to be find...make that both sisters and after he told Astia he loved her, she seemed to also disappear. The stallion wandered, heading towards the forest. Deep, deep into the forest where he knew no one would want to bother him. Not everyone ventured so dark.
The conversation with his father ran through his mind again, and it drove him crazy. Oh no! Bairn thought. Not again! The stallion was letting his emotions get the better of him...was that the start of another serious outburst like the last one? If it was, the forest was the perfect place to go. Away from everyone he loved...so no one could get hurt.
That was the last thing the poor confused little stallion wanted. For someone, especially Astia to get hurt for his stupid 'issues' again.

The scent of a stallion hit his nose as he traveled just outside the two-legged creatures' claim of land for living, and he followed it. This would be the second stallion he met, for he felt that females seem to run the gigantic, lone island that also had the stench that was the two-leggers. As he slowly ambled along, he tightened his wings and folded them against his body, seeing no need for them to be out as he would not be flying any time soon.
He soon came across a plain, brown common stallion who appeared to be in deep thought. A smirk graced his lips in amusement before vanishing altogther, returning to his usual expressionless face, the calm that was a constant within and from his being. Although his mind was chaotic, he didn't want others to know; why would they need to? Pity wasn't an emotion he wanted, and he hardly wanted someone who thought they understood what he'd gone through in the past.
Finally, he had reached the stallion with speaking distance, and so spoke to get his attention. "Greetings," he offered, tone icy, yet polite. "Art thou familiar with this area? This one ist new here." Actually, he was starting to memorize the many, endlessly different places this island had; however, he still hadn't traveled around the entire thing to find the one mare he searched for, but he hoped to find her soon...
Of course, if he continued to act like a love-sick fool he probably would get ill physically rather quickly, so he stopped his train of thought and focused on the stallion before him instead.

So much was on his mind, he couldn't help it. His life from his childhood to now flashed through real quick then it went back to Astia. He couldn't find her, no matter how he looked, nor would be able to find his sisters. Everyone he cared about was gone. Bairn was pacing back and forth in circles, he didn't even notice another presence so when the Kalona spoke it came as a rather shock. Why would anyone follow him hear? Why would they dare approach him in this state of mind again?
"Ahhhh!!" The brown stallion jumped back, and turned to look at the oddest looking creature ever. Of cource, Bairn had never seen a kalona before...heck he's never met anything other then a regular looking soquili. "Gosh, you scared the hell-" He paused, and looked at the new approaching creature. Weren't Kalona's supposed to be evil? Why was this one so polite?
"Hello..." He said in an unsure tone, what if this was all a game. "Yes, I've lived here all my life. I'm sorry you're new...um...so you have no where to live?"
A smirk ran across the brown stallion's face as he looked at the Kalona. "Forgive my rudeness, the name's Bairn. May I ask yours?" He paused once more and bit his lower lip. Do Kalona's give their names out to others?

Even as calm as he was, he could not help his twitching lips. This little male amused him to no end, and he could not help but allow a slight chuckle to burst from his lips. What an odd greeting... most of the stallions around here were very strange indeed. He was also amused to have surprised the stallion... had he been that quiet, or had the stallion just been too deep in thought?
Opting for the latter choice, he smoothed back his grin into a less amused facial expression. "Thou hast vile language, this one sees." He slowly began to approach the brown stallion, who now seem uncomfortable. Well, at least he now knew he was intimidating, though he didn't mean to be. Of course, he would provide that kind of fear if the one he spoke to needed to know just who were they were talking to... and if they were a threat.
"Thou art forgiven, Sir Bairn," he acknowledged. These common Soquili were very amusing... very entertaining. He should've have left his home a long time ago... he had more fun here than anywhere else, though he would never show it, and would never say so. "Thou mayst call this one Windflame Bloodrider... Windflame, if thou preferst."

The Kalona was a strange one indeed. He didn't seem to mind the fact that he was talking to Bairn, in fact he was the one who approached him and started the conversation. That normally didn't happen, did it? The brown stallion tilted his head at all the different turning facial expression Windflame gave him and he grinned back.
"Sorry? I didn't mean to swear, I just got scared." His body tensed as the Kalona approached him even more, was this some sort of plan of attack? Bairn wasn't going to let his guard down with this guy, that was for sure. Puffing out his chest, the brown stallion thought it funny to try and look tough against this creature.
"Thanks?" Why was he so polite? It was almost a joke, really. Trying to get that thought out of his mind, the stallion decided to treat this guy like a normal soquili for a while and see where it went. "Windflame? Hmm, interesting name." He smirked again, wanting to ask a question so bad.
in a mocking tone of the other creature, he spoke. "How art thou a polite Kalona?" The words came out really quick, for Bairn...afraid to admit it, was scared that those words might get him in trouble.

He tilted his head right back at the brown stallion--Bairn... what an odd name...--and did not grin anymore. He had his usual neutral expression on, though his tone showed his great amusement over the smaller male.
"'Tis find if thou were frightened, 'tis understandable," he agreed, stopping when he was about half a body-length away from Bairn. And then, the earth-colored stallion puffed out his chest. Windflame's brow rose in surprise, before he returned to a neutral expression, though mentally he was laughing so hard it took all he could not to show it.
It was so amusing, in fact, that when Bairn returned his own strange speech right back at him, he could only bare his fangs in a smirk. "Because this one does not find it amusing to tear thee apart on sight, nor does this one think that attacking without reason behind it a good thing." He mused a little more over why he was polite, and then consented to tell Bairn the whole thing.
"How ist this one polite? 'Tis not a crime, good sir, to be polite." He slowly circled the stallion, finding it awfully amusing that he could cause such unsureness, such uncomfort. He usually hated his blood, but there were times he did find it useful. "Thou art lucky this one did not attack thee for such a mockery of this one's speech, for thou must find thyself confused beyond comprehension."

Gosh, the kalona sure did know how to change his expressions easily. Bairn kept the smirk he had on his face, and just stared at Windflame. This was the oddest, awkwardest meeting of another creature he'd ever had-and he knew Bliss. And the talk? What was up with that? Didn't a soquili such as someone from his race know what century it was? Bairn couldn't help but want to laugh.
"Good. Because I wasn't expecting anyone at that time. My mind was...elsewhere." The smaller stallion blinked as he realized how close Windflame was to him. Did this guy like closeness or something, geez....give a guy some space. He was glad the joke in puffing his chest out didn't bother the Kalona.
Yikes! The guy's next words made Bairn shudder on the inside-he refused to show it to the Kalona on the outside. His pride wouldn't let himself show how scared he was to hear those words. "Hey! I don't taste good. Ever have emotional meat? It's salty. Yuck." The stallion stuck out his tongue in disgust, trying to save his own behind.
"I know it's not. But your race? I've heard stories about how evil you are. It's just strange to meet one...so opposite. And yes, I'm sorry about the mockery...I was saw the opportunity and ran with it, ya know? And yes...I'm very confused." Bairn blinked, and followed Windflame with his eyes as he circled him.

Now the earth-colored stallion was staring at him. Windflame twitched an ear in question, but did nothing more. He had a funny feeling that he would have to teach this little one a lesson. Or two. Hm. "Of course," he agreed, knowing full-well what the stallion was saying. "Thou art amusing," he commented lightly.
Windflame found himself turning face to keep control. Emotional meat? Salty? Did the stallion think that that would save his hide? What a fool, but amusingly enough, Windflame decided to back away, finding it too entertaining to worry Bairn anymore about "closeness"... because he obviously didn't know what that meant when a Kalona decided to move "closer"...
"Evil? Perhaps so... and this one agrees, for that ist how this one was taught growing up," he agreed again. "Confused thou mayst be, but this one ist still "evil"... if thou must put it that way." How the rumors seemed to run around... some Kalona were evil... but he figured that they just enjoyed the bloodlust so much that they became that way.
Kalona in general were dark, not evil, and embittered. They had many negative emotions, he supposed, and by their appearances, it would also make sense as to why... and then there was the "curse". He believed that there was a curse upon his race, else they'd be much more different... "Thou shouldn't believe in stories or rumors... how wouldst thou know if there art any good in any kind? What of thou? Dost thou knowst if thou hast any "evil" in thy race? Do not presume anything till thou hast confirmed the stories or rumors."
Pathetic, really, about how so many different Soquili always assumed something, but never really cared to confirm the source, or its origin. Ah, well. That was the way the world worked...

The younger stallion could only bring himself to smile back at the Kalona. There was nothing else he could do at the moment, besides smile. In case of a burst of laughter, or a snotty comeback. Bairn didn't want either of those to come out, so all he did was smile. "Thanks? Umm, how exactly? I mean, I'm not that interesting of a guy. I just live my life the way it is." The younger stallion blinked. Wow, he couldn't tell where this coversation was going anymore.
He let out a small sigh of relief when Windflame backed away. At least now he knew that no harm was going to come of him. He hated closeness...it made him feel trapped almost. Like the only place he could go was where the other was.
And the talk, again, the talk. It was just too rediculous for words. Bairn rolled his eyes as the Kalona spoke once more. Who talked like that still? Honestly? The stallion wanted to ask him so bad, but was afraid of what might happen so he kept it to himself. "Okay, I think this one understands." He mumbled, not catching the fact that he just mocked Windflame again. "You're 'evil' so to speak...you'll always be that way but you choose when to? Like you have a nasty temper only when provoked?" The younger stallion asked questionably. Maybe that was it, if it wasn't then Bairn had no idea why this certain Kalona just didn't kill him on the spot.
Windflame was, of cource, the only Kalona he had ever met and so far this guy seemed pretty reasonable. But all the stories he's heard, from other soquili around him just talking and his mother. But Mahiri didn't met a Kalona ever either...so maybe everyone's original thoughts were based on silly myths? Perhaps Kalona's weren't as bad as they seemed? "Sorry, Windflame...you're right. I've only heard stories growing up, and they were just stories. Entertainment, I guess. And no, I don't believe there is evil in my race-" He paused. Bairn only said that because that's what he was taught.
He learned that was expected of his race. Regulars, flutters, winds, unis...they were all the 'kind' soquili...Kalona's had that reputation. No one ever dreamed of an evil hearted regular. But then someone came into mind. The one stallion that Bairn wanted to rip apart. Rahu.
"There is, actually. I wouldn't call him evil like I would call your race but this certain stallion has no heart what-so-ever. He broke my sisters and doesn't even care." Why was he telling Windflame this...that wasn't the point the Kalona was trying to get across. Was it?

Now Bairn was smiling at him. Windflame could not recall anything he said to have been funny, or to have made the brown stallion smile. As far as he was concerned, he'd been thoroughly serious when speaking, although there had been a short amount of time when he had slightly played a bit with Bairn. "Dost thou truly live thy life the way it is?" he mused aloud. Certainly, he might have. And Bairn could have. But if the stallion was out here by himself, Windflame calculated, and in deep thought, Bairn surely was lying to himself; no one lived their life the way it was...
...After all, he concluded, if anyone lived the way their life was, they were a satisfied creature... content with how things were. A minute smirk barely made its way up his face, before totally vanishing once more. This male had him thinking a lot, didn't he? "Dost this one suspect thee of rolling thine eyes?" he quipped, narrowing his blood-red eyes and nearly bared his fangs when Bairn mocked him again. "No. Mine race ist cursed," he said bluntly. "We do not choose when and where to be "evil". Some are thoroughly tainted, and thusly they act so. Others, like mine self, haven't a choice," he continued bitterly.
"And if thou continues this rediculous assuming of others then thou hast earned thy right to die by mine fangs," he warned. He'd already taught one lesson; this stallion was much older than him, and yet, it seemed he knew nothing. But when Bairn apologized, he nodded to show acknowledgement and to show he forgave him. "No evil in thy race...?" he asked carefully. There had to be. There was always some kind of "evil" in any race; it didn't even have to be that particular word in general to describe the horse, but there was always a dark one.
Windflame shook his head. He had been banished from his herd long ago for his sentimental, logical thoughts--he had been praised when he killed his sister--a common mare at the time and whom he hadn't realized was his sister--and then when he showed sorrow and guilt he'd been kicked out, even upon his brother's pleadings to the leader who ignored them and thus he was here on this island now. He could believe that his kind were considered this way, but it made sense, now that he thought more fully about it. And... ah. "So there 'tis," he commented. "To thou, this stallion ist "evil"... but he may not be to others.
"Dost thou see the difference? This one may be evil to some, other times this one may not."

((Haha, it's long so I made the words small.))
The question came so quickly it was hard to think of an answer that could best explain what he meant. Did what he said make any sense to begin with? Going over it in his head, the smaller stallion sighed. 'I just live my life the way it is.' What did he mean by that? The Kalona asked him, and it made the stallion question himself. "I guess..." He started, still trying to think of a way to not sound like an idiot but also sound like he knew what he was talking about. "What I mean is...my life is the way it is and I just live it. Like, my family is never together...I'm always alone one way or another...even my familiar is rarely with me and I just deal with it. I just do whatever it is that happens to me on a daily basis. Like meeting you, I cannot say I planned...but now that's it's happened it's cool." Bairn almost laughed at himself at his own comment about the 'dealing with it' part, that was a complete lie. If anything, Bairn couldn't deal with it...he had rather serious emotional break downs because of it.
Trying to push the thought of all his 'issues' out of his mind, the younger stallion frowned at the Kalona's next question. Crap, caught on the act of doing something rather stupid if front of a dangerous creature. No, not dangerous. This one wasn't, but his kind was suspected to be. Bairn had to put that thought into his head and make it stay so the 'you think I'm evil and you're stupid' thing wouldn't go on as bad as it did. "Oh, no not at you, don't worry my friend. I was doing it at a thought of mine, guess I shouldn't have. Sorry?" Yikes, the fangs. Another thing the poor snappy stallion had to watch out for. "No? Well, again I guess that's what I assumed. Let me just say I'm glad you're not one that is 'thoroughly tainted'." Bairn tried to make a slight joke, hinting on the fact that he knew he was probably getting on Windflame Bloodrider's last nerves.
Yikes, again. One more stupid comment and he was done, for sure. And if this Kalona was serious, he was probably going to get killed in the next few minutes or so...it was just so hard not to make those comments. "Sorry Mr. Windflame Bloodrider, sir." Bairn stammered, eyes wide in fear. "I'll stop, I promise. I guess I just wasn't that knowledgeable about all the different races and only went by what others said because of that fact. But now I know better. And come'on. You have to give a guy a break for not...knowing, right?" Words were about the only thing he had right now, jokes weren't going to get him out of being killed. In fact, those were probably going to make matters worse.
Rahu. Bairn nodded his head quickly, eyes still completely wide. "Yes, he's evil. Very. I mean, cold hearted little son of a-" He paused, not wanting to use any words that might get the Kalona mad again, even if he was joking he couldn't risk it. "...evil family." The stallion finished his sentence, grinning. "And, Rahu...he's definatly considered evil...or at least completely rude and uncaring to the rest of us. Or, to all the soquili I know of."
Now Bairn shook his head, he didn't want to go against what Windflame was saying, but he had to in matters that dealt with Rahu. He hated that stallion more then any other creature to ever exsist. Even a Kalona was probably a better soquili then he, or at least in Bairn's oppinion. "Yes, Rahu is evil to everyone. There is a difference between you and him or whatever...because you're kind. I understand Windflame, but Rahu is a different story."

Ah, Bairn was thinking now. But he wondered if he'd confused the stallion's mind and boggled it so much that that he probably shouldn't have said a word. "This one sees..." He muttered. "So that ist how thou lives thy life? Truly an interesting concept." His keen eyes watched Bairn's eyes carefully, but he detected no other emotion other than thoughtfulness... though he could be wrong, since he wasn't really focusing. "Thou hast a familiar?" he asked, curious. "That is news to this one." He doubted he'd ever get a familiar for himself, for more than likely he would end up killing it to eat, for he was a Kalona who could only dine on flesh and blood.
"This one accepts thy apology," Windflame said solemnly. He did have to somewhat smile at Bairn's slight joke, however, and agreed with him. "Quit thy apologies. This one willn't kill thou, 'twas but a warning of thee." He was getting tired of the apologies, and as far as he was concerned, this stallion posed no threat, and was merely trying his best to get to know someone new, someone who came from a breed of horses he'd never met. He mentally sighed. He was glad he had great patience... thought the mockery irritated him to no end. Was Bairn not polite enough to stop it? Such was the rarity of politeness these days...
...And he sounded like an old stallion. "Yes, this one will give thee thy "break" for not knowing," he agreed, accidentally letting loose an exasperated sigh. What? He closed his eyes to regain his loosening control, and then opened them to reveal their usual calm redness. "Evil family?" Windflame mused. "Werest thou not going to say "son of a Kalona"? Thou mayst say that, for this one has heard that many, many times and 'twill not insult this one." He knew that saying very well, no matter if Bairn was joking or not. "That one called Rahu sounds like he hast many emotional issues."
A lot of the times when mares or stallions acted rudely or snappish to all the Soquili surrounding them it was because they had mental issues, and/or just didn't like being around others more than they could handle. Or perhaps some just liked being that way, though Windflame himself knew better--his once leader Lucarios, called Luke for short--had taught him that... and he'd better shake himself off from the thought of his herd, or he'd be in for it. After all, his blood was cursed. "Evil to everyone?" he asked slowly. "This one wouldst not knoweth that, for this one hast never met him." His eyes widened slightly. He was... kind? "Thou understandth this one? How... how ist this one... kind...?"
For the first time, he was confused beyond all reason. He was never "kind"... he was polite. He... Being called kind was probably the first compliment he'd ever had in his life (besides being praised for a kill he never intended) and Bairn had truly turned his mind upside down. His control was breaking slightly... why did... He blinked as a realization dawned on him. "Thou remindeth me of someone I met a while ago... Perhaps thou knoweth a mare named Aruna?"

He nodded, this whole conversation was getting a tad confusing now, very hard to answer all the Kalona's questions...but he did the best he could. "You think? Well, it's just how I am I guess, I'm not going to change for anyone, not even Astia. She hates me when I get emotional but that's who I am sometimes. Along with my sisters. If Astia cannot accept that fact every once in a while I don't know what I'm going to do. I adore the mare, but she makes me so angry." The lighter stallion didn't realize he was rambling on until he stopped for a breath. Opps, he thought, half that stuff wasn't even supposed to be said. Windflame didn't care about his personal life. "And yes, I have a familiar, it's a lion named Bae...he's cool but very confused." A laugh escaped the stallion, "Guess he's just like me, eh?"
Yes! He had gotten Windflame to smile, that was definitely a good sign. Maybe now they could work together and try to not piss eachother off...well Bairn try not to piss the Kalona off. He didn't think anything the male could do would make him mad..."Ok, I'm sorry...erm...I mean....I'm not. Um...I am but I can't say it anymore...sorry...I mean...no." Bairn stammered, trying to get the correct words out without getting himself in trouble. Gosh, it was so difficult to stop himself from saying what he'd normally say or wanting to save his hide even though he knew nothing was actually going to happen. But what if it did? What if his tongue slipped again and he said something that sent Windflame off the edge? That's why it was hard to keep his mouth shut.
An exasperated sigh. That wasn't a good thing, was it? Bairn mentally snorted at himself, he was making a complete idiot and fool of himself and his Kalona was the one that had to deal with him at the moment. The stallion actually felt bad for the guy...he didn't mean to run into Bairn. "Good?" He stammered again, being extra careful to say the right thing, not the wrong. And Windflame's next comment, caught him in the act. Darn, another mistake on the silly brown stallion's fault. "If I say sorry are you going to hurt me? Cause I didn't mean for that to -almost- come out. It's just what they say around here and I guess I grew up saying it every once in a while cause I never actually met one before." And then the stallion laughed. Rahu wasn't the one with the emotional issues. He was. And Aruna. But Rahu had other serious issues going on in that strange head of his. "Sure, yea that's right." He said softly.
"Well, sorry. I mean, no I'm not sorry. Gosh, sorry. I mean-" Bairn just stopped talking and shook his head. "Even though you don't know Rahu it's okay to think him as evil. You wouldn't be judging him wrongly based on other people's opinions." The stallion looked at Windflame and grinned, that comment was probably going to make the Kalona go off in another 'you can't judge others' ramble that he did before. "Kind? Oh, why? Haven't you ever heard anyone say that to you? Am I not supposed to say that to a Kalona? Well, it's my opinion...I think you're kind because you've put up with my snotty rediculous comments this long and haven't done anything to hurt me yet. You've given my....kind words if I may say so myself. I mean...the words you've said to me so far haven't been rude at all, I'm just being rude today. I erm...apprechiate everything because whether you like it or not, it's helping me in the strangest ways possible."
Bairn nodded, that seemed to be the best possible way to explain what he meant by 'kind'. The only thing he didn't understand was how could Windflame be surprised and confused by that statement? Was that such a strange thing to say to his race? Well, if it was Bairn thought it pretty funny because he wasn't joking. Everything he said he meant, the Kalona was thought of as a kind male in his mind. Then his ears perked up at the mention of the mare Aruna.
Aruna. The only mare that could make him do whatever she wanted him to to. And that was counting his other sister, his mother and Astia. He loved his older sister more then anything, and wasn't surprised to hear her name come out of Windflame's mouth. It would be strange if it didn't. His sister was always meeting the strangest of soquili. Nodding quickly, Bairn's eyes widened. He wondered why the Kalona wanted to know.
"Yes, she's my sister. Aruna is my sister." His voice sounded much more older then it ever did when he spoke about her...the stallion was very protective of her. Caution seeped through his voice as he spoke again, "Why you ask?"

Bairn seemed to go on and on for a little bit, rambling slightly before he realized what he was doing, and Windflame let out a soft sigh of exasperation. "Thou art lucky thou willn't die by mine fangs, for thou seemth to haveth issues..." he said carefully. He didn't want Bairn to go off stammering like a fool again and apologizing like an idiot, so he spoke quickly to interject the brown stallion from saying anything more needlessly. "Knowth that this one will forgive thee of thy mistakes if thou wouldst stop thy apologizing, stammering, and all thy other ramblings thou knowth this one cares not about. If thou findth these things important, then they are important, but to this one, this one cannot give thee sympathy or pity." He spoke what he thought carefully, bluntly, but in a way he hoped--how strange, he thought, to be "hoping"--would help the poor stallion calm down.
If Bairn said he understood him, then Windflame would automatically assume that Bairn knew he would not attack. The earth colored male's mood continuously changed, and he found himself getting tired of having to constantly change his own mood to adapt to Bairn's so that they didn't insult each other. Bairn was irate, and he was here for no apparent reason. He, Windflame, knew that although he hadn't meant to encounter this stallion, the fates were calling on him, and he followed their guidance. Lucky for Bairn, Windflame had boundless patience until he could not take the pressure of his anger being held back anymore and unleashed. He mentally shook his head, feeling like all he could do was sigh. However, he noticed something odd come over Bairn at the mention of Aruna, and his own eyes glinted seeing that he'd distracted Bairn completely. "Sister? Thou art siblings?" Well, that was new.
Aruna had a sharp tongue, but the mare had a way of drawing one in, he mused. She had strong eyes and a strong, fight spirit, and her calming nature was so in synch with his own he could not help being drawn to her. She seemed to understand things on a level even he himself could not comprehend, and he wondered if she was goddess born, like he was, under Epona's blessing. He doubted it, however, since she also seemed to have emotional issues over someone named... ah. That explained why Bairn hated this "Rahu" stallion... the puzzle pieces began to fit together as his calculating mind slowly connected the parts. His smile grew slightly as he told Bairn just why he asked. "Your sister has a way with words, sir. She seems to have the ability to capture the attention of many different creatures because of her strong eyes and spirit... as well as her nonstop tongue. Very witful she is." He couldn't have found it more amusing that the siblings were very close, from the way Bairn spoke.
"Thou art truly fond of each other," he said, almost wistfully. It made him miss his older twin, Darkness, and he didn't like that feeling... so he ignored it in favor of getting Bairn distracted from his worries and to also stop him from trying anything "accidentally", as the stallion put it. He said nothing about Bairn's familiar, since that topic was short-lived already, and he was only curious to really know whether or not Bairn did have a familiar... and he was also choosing to ignore Bairn's explanation about his "kindness", because he himself couldn't comprehend why he could be called kind in general at all, even if there were reasons behind it.

The Kalona was really getting mad now, and he had only made it worse with his rambling and constant apologizing. Why couldn't he had just stopped when he had the chance to? It seemed like a rather hilarious situation that the brown stallion found himself in now...no way out of it and no way of getting furthur. He was stuck at that moment in time. He was stuck talking to the Kalona and stuck possibly getting killed. Possibly. The stallion didn't want to bring that up again with Windflame so he kept to himself. No matter how 'polite' or whatever a creature may seem there was always a possibility that they could still attack.
"Okay Windflame. I'll stop with everything I've been...doing so far. And I realize I'm getting more then just 'on your nerves' now but I cannot help myself sometimes. I guess I just get that part of my personality from my parents, trust me if you met them instead of me...you'd want to kill them in 5 seconds flat." Bairn realized again that he was rambling but this one was for a purpose. He had to apologize one more time to the Kalona without making a complete idiot of himself and saying the word 'sorry'. Bairn shrugged as he looked at the Kalona, he was done being a fool...for now. Whatever words that were going to come out of his mouth were going to be carefully chosen...for fear of saying something stupid again.
"Yea, we've been siblings since the moment we were erm...made?" The brown stallion said in a very sarcastic tone. "Aruna, Artemis and I." It almost made him laugh at the fact that it seemed like everyone was surprised to learn they were siblings. If anyone really knew the two...or even three of them they could obviously tell just by personality. They were both very similar it seemed...in almost every way possible. Although he had changed now with the issues he had found himself dealing with...Aruna and Bairn were not only just brother and sister like some families were. Listening to what Windflame had to say about his precious sister, he was glad. They weren't offensive words at all.
"Yes, she definitely knows what she's doing. Aruna is one of a kind, I believe, it's strange really...how the two of us turned out to be complete opposites then our parents." The Kalona's words made him mentally laugh, everything he was saying wasn't news to him at all, everyone seemed to have the same opinion of her. "And yes, she does have a tendancy to run into-and perfere the winged soquili, many of her friends are kalonas and unis and such."
"And yes, my sister and I are fond of each other. It's nice to hear you say those things about her. Aruna and I are more alike then just siblings."
