Talia frowned as she stared at the dark pavement, a thousand thoughts running through her little mind, turning her mood tinted skin a lighter blue. There was an awkward silence, minus the distant bleating of sheep, but dispite that one might hear the soft sniffling from the young girl as she tried to make sense of the past month. But it didn't make sense! Alan would come back right? And why couldn't she go upstairs... She gave a light huff, slipping her arms and tentacles around her knees.

It was a good day for flying, then again any day was aside from those that were just to windy. He came down in a couple of large cirles before his taloned feet touched down. Success! There was nothing better then the feeling of a good landing since good landings didn't hurting. He looked up and gave a smile as Vorel landed behind him, stummbling a little bit but able to catch himself to keep from wiping out, "Come on." He then set to running forward towards the door of D-corp. His father, Ter, and Baroness were probably already inside so they really should catching up.

Upon getting close though he caught sight of someone vaguely familiar, where did he know her from? Ah! "Talia?" He asked, walking towards her. She was the one that they had gone looking for some time ago right? Alan's little girl... oh... upon heard sniffles everything seemed to click into place. He turned to look over at Vorel, "Stay." He murmured before approaching the younger girl.

"Hello there, I doubt you really remember me." They hadn't really spoken just crossed paths for a moment before Alan had come and taken her away, "My name is Ligeia." He said, kneeling down in front of her.

Talia missed the decending bird and dragon, jolting some as she heard her name echo up over the silence. Frowning some, she gave a rub at her eyes, looking breifly to his dragon before back to him. He looked familiar.. but the memory was still vauge, she remembered the other people more though, the ones who were actually talking. But see, her dad had come for her then, why did Kat insist he wouldn't come now?

Oh well, she gave him a halfhearted nod of greeting, pointing to the Dcorp nametag located on her miniature labcoat that read "Talia" to intruduce herself.

He looked to the little name tag that she pointed out before nodding, yep it was Talia, "How are you doing?" He asked, it was a... stupid question yes. He didn't think he would be doing all that well if he lost his father but it was something one always seemed to ask even at the worst times. He paused to think on that, shook his head then tried again, "You have grown since we last crossed paths." That was better, more neutral like talking about the weather. It was a shame she looked so sad, if she smiled he was sure that she would be very pretty. Though it was understandable why she wasn't feeling up to it.

"Are you waiting for someone?" He asked, he wondered who she was staying with now that her father was... gone.

She slumped at the how are you, while it was nice of him to ask, she didn't feel up to forcing out an answere, simply pointed at her blueing skin to illiterate that she had the blues. In her mind, it was more of a 'well duh can't you see?' rather than a pun though.

She gave a tiny nod to that, perking up alittle. Yea, she had grown! Da' had been measuring her on the wall back at home everytime they visited... And what kid wasn't proud of their growing?

Waiting for someone.. She gave a nod, answereing innocently. "Waiting for da'.." So what if everyone told her he wasn't coming... they were wrong. She gave a light frown at that thought.

Ligeia vaguely recalled the fact that the girl could shift her colors, seeing her point at them when he asked how she was doing made him wonder if it weren't a cosmetic thing but instead a emotional thing? That would make sense if she were sad and blue at the same time he thought.

He was glad to see her perk up some at the mention of her growth, though what she said next made his eyes going a little wide, "Wait for... Oh. I see." He murmured. She was sitting out here waiting for Alan? But surely she knew... someone had to of told her by now it had been a while since. He looked over his shoulder at the building as the thoughts came back to him of the Halloween party and decided that he would rather not think on that right now.

"Wouldn't you rather wait inside? Its kinda cold out." Or at least that is what he gathered from his father and brother wearing coats and other heavy clothing. He didn't mind it himself and was still running around in shorts most days.

She gave a curt little nod, looking back out to the parking lot. Yep she was waiting... His car was still there, so she wasn't sure how he had gone off to never come back. The poor girl was still young, death was just a word with no meaning behind it. No matter how many times they tried to explain 'Alan's gone to a special place and can't come back.'

She looked up again... Inside? she gave another little sniffle, whiping at her nose, before giving a sharp sneeze as though on cue. She paused, looking between the pavement and Ligeia... Should she? If she went inside she might not catch him but... It was cold. Da' would be mad if she stayed out in the cold too long... Alrighty. She stood, giving an awkward pat off of her clothing from bits of dirt that had gathered on the white. Then nodding to the older boy, with a small half hearted smile. He'd come too right? She hoped so... Sitting around alone just made her sadder.

Ligeia gave her a little smile, "Alright, it will be much better inside anyway." He told her, waiting while she brushed off before starting forward opening up the door for Talia and Vorel to go through.

The Frost Dragon took the opening door as his cue and hurried on forward through it and inside, he then sat back on his haunches to wait for Talia. It was another pretty so maybe he could get her attention and she would pet him? He knew better then to attempt to tackle girls when Ligeia was close by. He didn't normally get too, now when the owl wasn't looking was another matter.

"Where would you like to wait?" He asked of her, maybe they would run across someone else? Another adult would be nice though for now he didn't mind staying with Talia and keeping her company in her wait. It would be a long, fruitless one after all and not something he wanted to leave her alone to do.

Talia followed through, already looking somewhat cheered by the company alone. And it was some older kid paying attention to her, kids often craved the attention of older kids. So that was fun...

She gave a curious glance to the frost dragon, offering another meek smile. At Ligiea's question, she pointed to the couch in the waiting room, scampering over not a second after she pointed to pull herself up and slump against the soft cushions. Wide eyes stared up at Ligiea curiously, she didn't want to talk... But the distractionw as nice, so maybe if she stared he wouldn't leave?

Vorel went bounding after the girl, tail lashing as he did so. She had given him a smile so she must want to pet him too! That went without saying of course, pretties should love him! Ligeia gave a sigh of relief, at least he wasn't pouncing her. That would be no way to cheer her up. Ligeia walked over to take a seat next to Talia, "This seems like a good a place as any to way, comfortable too." He gave a little flutter of his wings as he settled back in the seat.

He looked over at her as Vorel laid his head on her seat, crooning up at her to get her attention and reached over to pat Vorel's head, "He's very nice. Feels kinda like glass, you can pet him if you like." He told her, drawing his feet up to sit cross legged in his seat.

Talia's small smile picked up at the silly sight of a bounding dragon, whom was then begging for attention. Talia looked to Ligeia to see if it was okay, which he answered, her shade of blue seemed to be slowly shifting colors to a pinkish shade. She took to giving a child's awkard petting to the frost dragon, he did feel like glass! How fun.

The light tapping of shoes against tile started down the hall, immediatly distracting the poor girl from Ligiea and Vorel. However the figure that came around the corner wasn't the one she had hoped, just another tech, the familiar blonde, 365.

Talia slumped, looking back to Vorel, and dropping shades of color back to the greyish blue.

365 frowned some at that... It seemed to be the reaction anyone got when they walked up on her. "Talia..." She started awkwardly, fighting back a yawn with a sip of her coffee. "We have a suprise for you." After split second she decided it'd be best to reassure that the suprise was not Alan. Though she wished it was. "About your dragon... Come on."

Talia blinked. Looking to Vorel, and allowing a small childish curioisity to come over her. Her dragon... Da' said he'd picked it out for her. She saw him pick out other kids, but she never got to know abou ther own! She gave a nod, dropping off the couch, and giving a quick hug to Vorel, then one to Ligiea... Or moreso, his legs, whatever she could reach best at the time, then running to 365's side with a wave of goodbye.

Ligeia gave a smile as vorel seemed to be helping some with Talia since she had changed color. Pink seemed like it would be better then the sad blue color. She soon shifted back though as someone else approached them, one of the techs.

Vorel and Ligeia were both pleased over the hugs that they got, Vorel especially cause it was a pretty that hugged him, "Ohhh, your dragon. Good luck with your meeting." He said to Talia, it would be nice for her to get her dragon, her partner someone to be at her side at all times and be her friend. It was something that she needed or at least he thought so, "It was nice getting to spend time with you, lets do it again." He called after her, waving.

Vorel called out a crooning sound then wagged his tail before looking up to Ligeia to see where they were off to next.
