Dear Diary... things are going quite well in the "ExLibris" Bookstore that I have started running with sweet Daffu... I'm not sure at all how she manages that candy store AND helping to take care of all the little Books and Covers that are running around now...expecially since Katara and Zuko showed up with those odd elemental tendancies...
But.. I did find this most -marvelous- bakery... its so fancy! I don't think I've ever seen anything like it outside of some advertisement for a big city or paris. ((Not that Paris isn't a big citty but))
Anyhow... The baker was...well I have to say a bit odd... I walked in for a few sweets... say something fluffy and lightly sweet... and...
well I've walked out with a music box of all things.
It's pink too... and...well you know me and pink...((Rather I should say... -I- know me and pink since -you're- a diary...
It is pretty though... it has an odd sweet oder about it... roses really... but so refreshing. I'm afraid I don't recognise the music though... I thought at first it was Clare De Lune but It's not quite that... ah well... if nothing else it brighted up the place... even if it -does- look a touch odd beside my 'Chthulu' plush...

Strangest thing!
That pretty music Box? It become a child!
((Well…first it changed into a full size trunk but my goodness! I’m not at all sure what to make of it…
She’s beautiful, soft blue eyes and fine white hair! I’ve not found any information concerning missing children or anything… and she doesn’t seem to have a name… I’ve taken to calling her Briallen after my great great grandmother…it’s welsh…and it means “Rose” or something to that effect. She seems to like it…and she’s quite good with them…the roses on the Arbor behind the house that I thought sure weren’t going to last the winter seem to have new Vigor with her in the house!
Even her dress has a branch of thorn’s on it…I’ve never seen the like…it’s as though she were a rose come to life…strange to say she smells a touch like one…with…just a hint of mint.
The only think I can think of is from a fantasy book I’ve read… where plant’s grew in the shape of beautiful young ladies. But…that doesn’t happen for –real- does it? And she came from a =Bakery!=
Merange goes there… maybe she’ll know something about the place.

No sign of Merange of late...I guess she must have her hands full with another one of her 'Projects'.
Briallen seems happy enough though, a marvel considering anything I know about children could be stuffed into the toe of her shoes. ((witch she so often declines to wear))
How do you keep a child shod anyhow? I've seen more shoes go -flying- into low obrit than I care to count. The Poor cat now lives in fear of patent leather projectiles. He doesn't seem to mind -her- at all though. Quite the oposite. On days I won't, or can't let him out to skirt about the feild and guarden he seems more than happy to stretch out beside her and let her 'pat' him. He -never- lets children near him. Especially not after the kids from halloween with the mini-snickers. ((that was just messy))
I should note that... well...
She's not throwing those shoes by hand. I know its going to sound utterly -absurd- But, she's throwing them with vines...tiny, yet prickly rose vines. They even unfurl small rose buds to boot!
I'm quite sure I must be out of my mind.

Briallen hasn't been out and about too much, maybe it's time to take her out and show off that cute little rose? Or maybe just to see Marcelles for herself. There's a lot to do and see in the world (or so I'm told). What might you two do?
Goals: explore a little with Briallen! She might like it?
Technicalities: Can be completed at any time with either a Sweet Thing owner or non-owner. If you are very short on time, you can PM Audley to waiver the RP-oriented growth quest and instead write to the "prompt" by yourself. When you've finished the two roleplays or the response, just post a "growth quest response" in the thread with the links to the RPs or the writing piece itself if you did the waiver.
