So, yeah, I heard today that a politician in Washington wants to start the draft again which if started will effect all 18+ males, which includes me. If this happens, then i will probably dodge it by going out of the country for a while. I dont want to fight in a war that i don't believe in.

*sigh* the only reason people want to move to Japan, is because of Anime and MAnga, thats not all there is in Japan, most of the culture the U.S. beleives in isnt the main branch of Japanese economy. If you move to Japan, your gonna have a harder life. Trust me

Actually, i want to go for the culture. Sure anime and manga or nice, but i want to live with those customs for a while and experience it for myself. See where they came from. I have heard enough about our upbringings and what not, i want to see where they came from. The glorious age of Bushido and the samurai. To the more modern age, but before the west started taking it over.

I'd want to VISIT Japan, but not live there. The cost of living is through the roof. And plus, I'm allergic to fish, so... definate no-no there.

You know that the draft effects girls now too, so i'm in the risk too, well kinda, i had back surgery back in January and i'm still healing from it so with my medical records will save me or the government might make the next bionic woman....Well i hope it doesn't get that far....anyway don't worry so much about this war my histor teacher said that the most the war would last is two more years, but i'll wish the best for all of those who are effected by the draft because i don't believe in forcing people into a war the don't want to be in.
Hoping and Praying,
Keito
