FORGOTTEN DOCUMENT JOURNALS  "The thief eased through the second hidden doorway, a piece of smooth rock sliding easily in its greased runnels. Leaving it ajar, he carefully put the lantern on the floor, slender beam shining weakly ahead of him. 2006: The House has been playing tricks again.... Althalus adventures within the House, and returns a little older...
October 16th 05 His first birthday! Presents galore...
September 19th 05 A fun barbeque at the House. Althalus got to meet a lot of new faces!
July 29th 05 One of the worst and oddest days Althalus has ever had, but it all seemed to be over in about twelve hours... Pippin says the book was doing something funny. At least he managed to save the House.
July 15th 05 He met April, and was labelled a thief completely innocently. Hmmm... He wants to learn the magic swirly painting that says things from her, but he's probably a little young yet...
June 16th 05 Althalus has found some errant kitten in the garden, and wants to keep it. Good grief, isn't Stealth enough?
April 21st 05 He can properly be called a toddler now. Little rascal.
March 8th 05 Althalus has finally been returned home, a little older and wiser maybe but no more so than his guardian...
March 1st 05 ... Althalus has been kidnapped. O.O
February 2nd 05 He's been getting very restless recently. Perhaps he's bored or something.
December 15th 04 Althalus somehow failed to be noticed today... he was sitting so still.. how did he manage that?
November 22nd 04 He's been with Kel for a over a month now... good grief, how the time slips past. In other news, Stealth is becoming increasingly adept at her chameleon techinique. Hmm.
October 30th 04 The day after her birthday, day before Hallowe'en, Kel-chan is inflicted with lycanthropy. Althalus is still unsure of this new change, but seemed quiet enough at the following evening's festive Hallowe'en events.
October 16th 04 Althalus was 'born' - the day Kel-chan read the curious book.

Current Age: Preteen (looks approximately 11-12 years old)

Gender: Male
Sign: Libra (how ironic)
Description: Scruffy ochre-brown hair, normally only visible as a fringe under his beloved bandana, and long enough to his shoulders now, but generally tied at the nape of his neck. Warm, dark chocolate eyes (he's going to be a charmer, this one.) Paleish skin, and slightly pointed ears. Left handed also, it seems... He hates not wearing his bandana ever, and if given the choice he likes to wear dark reds and greys and browns. He also hates wearing shoes, prefering to patter around barefoot or in socks.
Personality: Althalus is one of those children who seems utterly charming, happy and polite and well mannered... until he's asked to do something he's not allowed to, or you've discovered that you swear you had your keys until just a moment ago... then he is loud, and selfish, and might quite possibly yell at you. After all, he is still a child... but even if you saw him take those keys, or that cookie and the crumbs are still around his mouth, he'll look at you sweetly and promise that it wasn't him. He's almost a compulsive liar...
Book: The book from which Althalus appeared was bound in brown leather with hard steel ridges along the edges and rounded corners. It was rather heavy, and within the centre of the front cover was a burnished metallic strip that reflected dimly any light in the room.
 Stealth herself, looking rather like a small bronze-brown gecko-lizard, is often somewhere about her Forgotten's person. Most of the time she sits on his shoulder, her tail latched around his neck. She's a lot more active than Althalus, and has a bad habit of sneaking behind Kel and surprising her. When the pair wish, they can be incredibly silent.
Recently she's been managing to change her colouring to match the enviroment - almost like a chameleon. It certainly makes hiding easier...

Description: Vivid red hair, normally tied back into a ponytail. Enigmatic, laughing golden eyes and deeply tanned skin from her many archaological digs before Gaia. About 5'7".
Personality: Kelinor, or Kel-chan as her friends call her, tends towards the cheerful and practical side of things. Rarely however she can become very emotional, either fearful or furious. Whilst in lupine form, she shifts more towards basic instincts and the wisdom that comes with the shape.

Daniel von Aeriwald Daniel, or rather Dafriel is an old-country Lupus shapeshifter; the one who infected Kelinor that Hallowe'en. Since then, and especially Althalus' kidnap, he's kinda... moved in. Favourites: "Althalus, because he's adventurous. Heh. That's doesn't count Kel, right?"
Ralph Aliwran This Earth-type Raimin was Kel's first companion in Gaia, and a sort of unofficial housekeeper/benevolent uncle to the children. Favourites: "Auriga, and Laurel. She likes the trees more than I do..."
Alexandra Runegold Celeste The kitsune girl is actually a Guardian Angel of Kel-chan, despite being cared for since birth by her 'charge'. At the moment she loves playing the bossy teenage sister to them all. Favourites: "Auriga! My baby sister. And.. Ralph. Defintely not Daniel. Uh..."
Auriga Aliwran Auriga is an Astra, a strong willed yet sweet girl who fell from the eponymous constellation one night. She loves horses, and just as well, for her walking is difficult with only one leg.. Favourites: "'Oh, I couldn't pick a favourite. I love everyone in my family......"(preference to Alex and Laurel)
Laurel Aliwran The newest addition to the household, Laurel the Painted Soul is surprising in her sweet nature and love of almost everything. She has an instinct to hug everyone; cute, but annoying sometimes... Favourites: "La?" (preference to Ralph and Althalus)

Althalus has only ever had brief encounters with the other Forgotten... Althalus - darkred
This is April, Pippin's Forgotten. Althalus has a strange kind of respect for her, probably because she knows how to master the magic picture-words... the Forgotten he likes the most out of all the ones he's met. At least he was met with no distrust. April - orangered
He's only met Naita's Eydis a few times. She is very quiet, and somewhat mysterious; one of the only ones Althalus has seen to be growing up older than him. The air of cold mystery round her rather intrigues him, and after Hallowe'en he vowed to find some time to run into her again. Eydis - skyblue
 
The two boys of the Wren-Halo household. Althalus covets Mael's coin terribly, but Otium was rather silent in the encounter, so no coins appear forthcoming from that area. xD Since then he has met Mael in the Library, and was quite wary. He's not so sure whether he likes snakes or not; maybe he's more of a cat person... Mael - indigo Otium - grey
Althalus rather liked Iqbal. After all, he had ears like Kel-chan when she is different! Stealth was a little scared of Fortune though... and the wolfboy seemed wary of Althalus since he got him into trouble. Iqbal -olive
Althalus first met Nisha at the Barbeque. Stealth cannot help but be a little scared of her huge bumbling daemon Desperate (in case she is squished! xD) but the girl herself seems alright, and perfectly happy to play.... Nisha - oldgold
Lysium and her little Shiver were an odd pair idea to meet on a garden wall, but they were much more agreeable when babysat. Lysium's so quiet.... but Stealth and Shiver got on unusually well *blinkblink* Lysium - wildviolet
Althalus has decided that Walter and Oblivion are fun. And who can't be impressed by the strategy of eating locks to escape? razz He's also very curious about what he's been saying about dreams, and wants to find out one day.... Walter - steelblue
Having met Maya in the park, Althalus can only say of her that, well... she's another baby. But she gave back the coin readily enough, so this is always a plus.... Maya - cadmiumyellow
Elias and his 'Habi' are great characters, and Althalus enjoyed looking after them. He's intrigued by the fact things turn old around them...

 Recently Althalus always seems to have bulging pockets, full of uncomfotable but surely interesting things that he has picked up here and there. After a while he dumps them somewhere; it is the pleasure of the finding, rather than the hoarding, at this age at least.
