((If it's a private rp, you can make the scene be on a sidewalk, right...? o_o; *so did that*))

He wasn't necessarily an anti-social person -- in all reality: Nagendra liked people. They were interesting and fun, they changed. Being alone, however, would always be the same. And things that were always the same were... boring.

The wolf carried three bags in each hand... he hated grocery shopping. But, he did it nonetheless. He didn't have to pay rent for staying with Jay... the canine decided long ago that he needed to earn his keep somehow.

In growing up the life of a butler, he was certain that house-cleaning and taking care of just about -- everything was the best way to make up for staying for so long without paying any amount of money. Then again, nobody in the household paid for anything except for Jamie...

Nagendra always seemed to be answering doors, shopping, taking Wyatt out for walks... as strange as it sounded.

He sighed in quietly, closing his eyes and admiring the sounds of the gentle, petite beasts chirping their music from the trees.

He was not a graceful person… and that always seemed to show through, more so when he ended up running into an embarrassing twist... like now, for example. The lovely canine-like male ran into a stop-sign, falling unceremoniously to his rear and dropping any groceries he may have held in his clawed fingers.

His head hurt, and the wolf anthro quickly brought an icy finger to it.

Hopefully no one had seen him -- it did happen to be the middle of the night, and there were no cars out driving. As far as he was concerned, he was pretty much safe from a huge amount of mortification. The sidewalk was an icy cold, as was the breeze... perhaps it was because he had no coat?

The male muttered a few curses under his breath at the sight of several of his cans rolling into the street. His bum hurt, and the wolf certainly did not feel like getting to his feet now.

A black wolf in bummish looking attire and a tie had witnessed the other wolf running into a stop sign. Raising a brow, he shifted a single brown paper bag in one arm before he began to venture into the middle of the street. Vivid green eyes threw a glare to the cars that began to creep to closely to him, and those cars instantly stopped where they were.

Smiling warmly, he bent down and picked up the few cans that had rolled their way into the street. Glaring back towards the cars, the red-head stepped up onto the sidewalk and knelt down. Placing his paper bag beside him, he began to pick up fallen items and place them back into their bags.

Slowly standing up, dusting his pants off, he reached down and picked up his own back once more before settling his vivid emerald eyes onto Nagendra. Smiling, he placed his lit cigarette between his lips before reaching out a hand.

"Are you alright?" Aleksandir asked with a fair amount of slight worry in his voice. Sure, those hadn't been his groceries, but he had picked them up as if they were... and now he was offering the other wolf help up off the ground as if they had met one another before.

Truth was Aleksandir was pretty much exactly like Nagendra in the sense that he, too, lived to please those around him.. though he also lived to give those around him a helping hand when it was necessary... but it was also late at night, and if the other complained about him smoking... ******** it, he was going to smoke anyway.

It was late at night, damnit, and he had a rough day. As much as it pained him and tortured him to displease anyone, he needed a cigarette, and it was his first of the day. Besides... he probably wouldn't stick around long as soon as he knew the other wolf was going to be okay.

A warm smile perked the corners of his mouth, and his floppy ears lifted, though the ends still flopped over. He was black with white tips, and seemed to be quite the gentleman, like Nagendra himself, despite the fact that his clothes were rather... bummish.

Nagendra looked upset. "... Thank you..." he whispered, accepting the hand in his and rising to his feet with it's support. The canine quietly dusted off his rear, eyes narrowed gently and sorrowfully at the thought that he was such an idiot -- and had been spotted in such a moment.

The male scratched the back of his head with clawed fingers. "A little ditzy, apologies." he declared, waving his hands gently in a slightly defensive matter. "I'm sorry you had to pick up the groceries..." he whimpered, now a little out of it. He had hit a pole for christ's sake... "Umm... I don't have any money..." he had to repay the other for his kindness in some way...

How utterly embarassing... I don't even have anything to give.

His eyes were slightly watery, but the canine ignored the fact as he tried to think of some way, any way to express his thanks. But... maybe it was the force from the pole, or just his unlimited supply of stupidity: shock -- he couldn't think of anything.

Tilting his head slightly to the side, ears flopping over once more, he raised a slender brow at the other once he was on his feet again. Taking the last drag of his cigarette, he turned and put it out in the standing tray they had, that people rarely ever used.

Turning his head away to exhale the smoke, he made sure that he was downwind of the other wolf, just in case. Turning back to face him, he smiled and put a hand on his hip, shaking his head lightly as he offered a warm smile. "You are very welcome," He replied softly, green eyes watching the other intently for signs of a concussion.

"Please, please... no need for apologies, really. Even if you had money, I would never accept it," Alek said with a small, crooked, quirky smile. It was the truth. Take money for simply being nice - no, that would be like literally taking candy from a baby.

"Think of it as a friendly gesture, that is all. No need for repayment." He said softly, as if knowing instinctively what the other was thinking-- though he was only going off of his own knowledge as to what he would do if he were in the other wolf's position. If he was in Nagendra's position right now, he would be thinking of ways to repay the stranger as well. "Are you sure you are alright? If you feel like you may have a concussion, I can walk you to the hospital? It is just around the corner..."

"No, no..." he said, shaking his head. "I can't allow it after you just spent time helping me up. I'm sure that I'm fine." the wolf sighed in quietly, closing his eyes and shaking off like a puppy. "But I insist that I have to repay you... somehow..." he stated in a gentle, smooth tone... blinking quietly at the other anthro's features. Whoever this was, he was obviously polite...

Nagendra examined one of his scraped-up hands with interest, and decided almost immediatly that he should hurry up and clean it, not to mention bandage the wound.

When he was a child, he would often just lick his injuries clean -- but now that he was an adult he knew better. Not only was blood... distastefully gross... bacteria in a mouth...? Dear god... his mind didn't even want to get started on the possibilities.

He stared quietly at Alek. The male's appearance was... well... let's just say one can't judge a person by the clothing they wear. It was only the clothes that first threw Nagendra off in the first place. The eyes and skin was obviously beautiful, and the smile was kind. If this was a different matter, he would truly probably be attached immediatly, but at this moment in time -- in all seriousness, he was jumpy and embarassed.

Stress was a cold-hearted b***h of a wind.

Aleksandir simply smiled. That was it. Just a warm, friendly smile as his hand reached into his brown paper sack. Pulling out a bottle, he set the sack down and reached into his pocket, pulling out a hankerchief and a thin, short strand of bandage.

"Let us get your hands clean before an infection sets in," The other wolf stated softly while opening the bottle of rubbing alcohol, dipping the cloth into the bottle before handing it towards Nagendra.

Alek got a feeling that the other wouldn't allow him to tend to the wound, so he would settle for wrapping the bandages around Nagendra's hand. "I am Aleksandir William. You may call me Alek or Will, if you would like," He said softly, not wanting to be rude... and not giving his name would be rude.

At least the other seemed to be okay, it seemed his senses were coming back to him. It was probably just shock that had set in after he ran into the stop sign. Glancing up towards the sky, Alek frowned ever-so-slightly. "Weather channel said it was supposed to rain, but I see clear skies..." He complained softly... Well, not so much a complaint as a statement to endure in something akin to conversation.

"Nagendra..." he replied, accepting the cloth with a thankful smile. "I appreciate it..." the canine whispered, bowing his head gently and washing the wound off. Not even wondering about why in god's name he had all the medical articles with him. The male winced once, but decided he was just going to have to deal with the small burning pain alcohol produced on the injury.

"Judging from all the stars, I would say it's going to be nice weather tomorrow as well..." he played along with the casual conversation -- hoping it would take his mind off earlier.

It didn't -- he still felt embarassed as hell, and there was really nothing the wolf male could do about it.

He finished his work, frowning gently. "Sorry... I got your cloth all bloody..." he whined gently.

"Indeed... perhaps for the next few days, even," Aleksandir added on before his vivid emerald eyes were slowly drawn from the sky to Nagendra upon hearing the gentle whine. Shaking his head, he lightly reached out, fingers brushing against Nagendra's foreign skin as he took the cloth. Turning, he dropped it into a metal trash can beside them.

"No need for apologies... Things tend to get bloody with time," He said gently before reaching out to gently place his hand beneath Nagendra's, slowly and tenderly wrapping the bandage around it.

"Is that too tight?" The wolf inquired, eyes flicking up towards Nagendra. He waited for a response, not wanting to make it too tight, though he removed his hand from beneath the other male's hand to grab both ends of the bandage, preparing to properly tie it off.

Alek realized that Nagendra must be embarassed about the stop sign incident, but... there was nothing either of them could do to take what they had already done back. Besides, he just wanted to please the other wolf... though he didn't seem to be helping at all. "Do I... make you uncomfortable, Nagendra?"

((Sorry that took so long... ;_; *snugs Andie* I had a phone call...))

His eyes were wide at the inquiry. "N-no..." he whispered, shaking his head. "I mean... yes, but it's only because I'm stupid... I would much prefer you being here over being... all... alone." he let the last part come out a little more slowly as he thought about it. "I'm sorry, Aleksandir. I really don't mean to be such a bother. I'll be on my way soon, I promise..." his ears flattened delicately as he waited for the bandages to be tied off.

This sucked...

Truly, in all seriousness: he liked the other male's company. Alek was so calm and sweet... it wasn't something he often came across in the shop.

The wolf's tail twitched behind him and he kept his gaze on the sidewalk below them, wishing he hadn't closed his eyes to listen to the lesser importance earlier... but the birds were so lovely, and gentle. He didn't not want to listen to them...

Dear god, was the male confused.

"Hmm... nonesense, Nagendra," Alek stated softly as he began to properly tie off the bandages, "... you do not seem stupid to me." He finished, gently pulling his hands away once the bandage was tied securely.

Reaching down, he picked up his paper sack again and placed the rubbing alcohol back inside, offering that warm, friendly smile once more as his eyes glanced down the street behind him. "If you would like, I could join you in your walk home? I do not see how you plan to carry all those bags with one wounded hand, and I have a perfectly fine hand with nothing to do."

Tilting his head to the side, he reached up and brushed red hair from his face, glancing down towards the sidewalk as well before looking back up towards the other male wolf. In all honesty, he was enjoying Nagendra's company.

It seemed odd, since they had just met under the most unusual circumstances, but that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy talking with Nagendra. This wolf was different from the other's he had met. Shinkumaru was sweet and gentle, but... impossible to please, which had thoroughly upset Aleksandir.

However, Nagendra also seemed just as gentle, but also polite. Though, who could tell by looks and words? Actions spoke the loudest, and so far, Nagendra seemed far from threatening or dangerous.

"I would... appreciate... that...?" he smiled, nodding his head at Aleksandir. "Of course I can't make you carry my groceries though..." the male's smiled formed into a frown as he slowly lifted the bags with both hands, making an attempt to ignore the wounded one -- though the bandages did form as a slight problem. "I give you so much of my respect for the offer, Alek." he bowed quietly, offering a sweet smile to the lovely male.

He stepped gently. "Are you walking the same way as me then...?" the wolf raised an eyebrow.

He wanted to make sure that the other wolf wasn't going out of his way.

"I like it when the birds chirp at night..." he whispered to the male. "So I was a little too busy listening to them to notice... the... pole. I apologize for seeming like such an idiot."

He wanted to make it clear.

Birds chirping at night was uncommon -- of course he wanted to listen to them. His ears flattened again. It did seem to happen when he was uncomfortable.

OOC: I'm sorry about the long pause. D: My wireless keeps dying. >.<

"Your respect is fully accepted," Aleksandir said softly before smiling warmly, ".. and I give you much of my respect in return for your own," He added before turning and taking a step in the same direction that Nagendra had taken one.

Aleksandir worked in odd ways, or so most people would say. Once he gained someone's respect, they instantly had his. No matter what happened, they would have his respect until he lost their respect first.

It was the same with any friendships. Once he was accepted as a friend, he would return that friendly feeling. Though, it was still odd.. He found himself slightly attracted to Nagendra, and it made him uncomfortable... simply because he used to be so intent and focused on women.

"Yes, I am walking the same way as you, Nagendra," He finally replied as he shifted the brown paper back in his arm. Alek wasn't going out of his way-- so long as Nagendra was pleased. However, he often went out of his way to please... but not in this case. He did live on the beach, afterall, so they were heading in the same direction so far.

"You know what, Nagendra?" Aleksandir leaned in to whisper back before flashing a very charming, boyish grin, "You did not seem like an idiot in the least." He added a friendly wink onto the end of the sentence.

((It's fine meh darling ~ <3

Aww... Ash loves Alek ;_; ...))

Nagendra watched him interested, letting out a small giggle at the other's lips as they formed into such a grin. He liked Alek's tone. "Well... I can't quite agree with you on that. It's on everyday someone runs into a stop sign. Stop sign -- it's so ironic." he shrugged his shoulders, continuing walking forward so long as the other male was beside him on the way.

"Thank you Aleksandir." he sighed, not quite forcing the words out... but he did feel tired of repeating himself like a broken record, he knew he should. The canine really was thankful, fully and surely, completely grateful.

His tail flicked gently behind him as he examined the sky with quiet, golden eyes. "I like you Alek -- you've got something about you." he smiled. Or was it strange for Nagendra to tell someone that?

The wolf anthro sighed, ears tweaking every so often with the sound of a car running by. He really appreciated the other male, and thanked the gods he had met him -- even if the prediciments had been so... well... mortifying.

OOC: Heehee~ When he gets comfortable with someone, he starts talking with contractions. :3

Alek couldn't help but let out a soft, hearty laugh, reaching up to lightly put a hand on Nagendra's shoulder to show that he wasn't laughing at him, simply at the irony that he pointed out. "I suppose you do have a point there, Nagendra, but that does not mean you looked like an idiot."

Again, he flashed that charming, boyish grin. Why did he keep doing that? It wasn't something he could answer for himself. It had him just as confused as anyone else, he was sure. Usually he saved the grin for women... but there were none, and Nagendra was a beauty...

Ah-- enough of those thoughts-- it was slightly embarassing for him to see another male, whom he had just met, attractive. "You are welcome," He said gently, glancing over to the other.

Arching a slender, perfectly shaped brow, he turned his vivid green eyes towards the sky, watching the stars twinkle brightly against the dark sky. "I like you too, Nagendra-- I like you just fine," He replied softly, truely meaning what he said.
