“Mmm…Adonai.”
*The lioness muttered the name of her ‘better half’ to herself as she padded along a path to the nearest water hole. Her green eyes softly narrowed as she walked on slowly. Her paws were sore from all of the running she had done the other day... Tiah often ran to release stress, and boy was she stressed. It had been only a few weeks now, but something about being back within the Pride lands made her uneasy.
She had not gone out of her way to find any family she had… nor had she tried to make ‘friends’; No Tiah was much too antisocial to do anything like that, and on top of that she was very upset with Adonai, he refused to come to the pride lands with her, he didn’t want to be apart of a pride and this pained her… but she couldn’t really be mad at him, it was his life after all, but she often wondered it he really wanted her in it.
With a deep sigh the lioness sat herself down by the edge of the water hole and gazed at her reflection dully. Why did she feel so depressed?*

Letting out a wide yawn while stretching, Danzi padded from where he slept towards the watering hole. Thirst drove him on, towards getting what was needed. When he got there, he found a new lioness present. But he minded company not and settled down to lap at the cool water. But something about her intrigued him. Her colors, some of her markings... They seemed familiar somehow. But where had he seen them?

*Moving her gaze upward the lioness quickly set her sights upon the orange pelt that had joined her along side the water hole. Something about him seemed... familiar; she knew that sent from somewhere, with a coy smile she let her eyes gather else where before speaking.*
“Hot day today..”
*She started dully, doing her best to start up conversation.*

Laying down and lapping at the water, the male nodded. "Yeah...But there's only one way to deal with it. Drink water, stay in the shade." Stretching just right in just the right spot, he stretched right into the shade of a tree.

“Perhaps..”
*The lioness smirked at his words. He was right, Tiah hated the heat.. hot days only made her more aggravated with everything that was going on in her life. With a soft sigh she sat settled herself down and gazed back over at him.*
“What is your name? You… you remind me of someone, but I can’t quite recall who..”

"You do the same, you know... My name is Danzi. I probably remind you of the majoirty of the royal family." He gave a lightly bitter chuckle. "My father was Taka, brother of Mufasa, but... I never met him. I only know that I'm his son, and as far as anyone knows, ONLY son."

“Taka? Your his son?”
*The lioness chuckled softly. This was indeed a fate-filled day, before her rested her own kin, this was interesting.*
“Mmm... only son you say? Interesting.. My mother and father were both lions that hailed from this land… and she spoke of only my father’s name once, but I do remember it… she called him Taka… said I took after him."
*With soft narrowing eyes she gazed over at him with a coy smile.*
“Though she died a few years ago herself… she did leave me with that much.”

"Your mother told you more than mine did... She only said that he was from here." Danzi shrugged just a bit where he lay. "She was taken by two-leggeds and I have no idea where she is now. Just as well, though... I found family here in lions not even related." A chuckle escaped. "By adoption, I have six brothers and eight sisters, and who knows how many nieces and nephews." He shook his head, then smiled at the lioness. "Enough about me, though. I ramble a lot. What about you? Who were your parents? Any family you know of here, adopted or otherwise?"

“My my… what a family you have!”
*Tiah nodded with a soft smile. Though she knew nothing of her brother… apart of her was happy to know that she had family still. After all her mother was dead and her father from what she knew of… so for the longest time she felt so alone; but now… she had someone still that she could go to. With a soft with she rested herself back and gazed up at the passing clouds.*
“I have no cubs of my own, not by blood… not by pity. I can’t have cubs; I will not let what happened to my mother happen to me.”
*She started simply, before adding on.*
“I have a mate… but he is gone somewhere; he comes and goes as he pleases...”

"I'll say..." He chuckled just a bit, tail flicking. And now... He had a half-sister... It amazed him. One ear flicked to listen. "A mate..." He sighed. "I have none." A butterfly drifted by. Danzi watched, contemplating it.
Bouncing after the butterfly, Mut giggled, trying to catch it. She stopped when she saw Tiah, watching her. A new lioness? Walking over, she hid behind Danzi's leg, watching the lioness. "Big brother, who's that?"
