HOW TO MAKE A POLL
Making a poll is fairly simple. All you need to do is create a new thread (topic). First, you need to enter the title and text (the poll won't update without it).
Now, scroll a bit down to find the following lines:
First and foremost, enter the question of the poll:
Next comes the first option:
Don't click "Sumbit", yet. There's more to be done. Click the "Add Option" button, as following:
The window will now refresh, and a new option line would appear. Enter the second option in it:
And repeat, while remembering to click the "Add Option" button whenever you make a new option.
When all the options are placed, this is what you'll see:
Make sure you have one last, blank, option line. That insures all the options would be displayed and selectable.
The "Length" feature is to decide how long the poll will be open for selection, in days. This is mostly used in contests, and is usable for anyone who wants:
After everything is done, you can submit your post. And voila, here's your very own poll!
If you ever want to change anything in the poll (add a new option, delete an option, re-set the expiration date), you can always click the "Edit" button above your post:
