Teal paws struck the last branch in the forest that they would have to strike as Kizaki trotted back into the lands of her beloved pack. It had been too long since she'd left the sides of her pack mates to go in search of some one or something that she didn't know or understand. She still wasn't sure why she'd left when she loved this pack so desperatly in the first place.
Grinning with her golden muzzle down at the hill that lead to her home and she shot off at a breakneck run down towards it, her teal stripped tail flowing out behind her and her ears flattened to her head in happiness as she did so. It felt so nice to run but she could smell the water, the water that she could swim in and drink from and feel alive in. It had been far too long since she'd gotten a good swim, she'd deprived herself of swiming for the sake of her quest and now she was about spoil herself again.
Of course it had also been saddening to not be near any of her pack mates in all this time. She'd met quite a few, like Miremba and Ritsuko and others and seen a handfull of them all in passing, so she was more than happy to be back and gave a bright howl to acknowledge that she was in fact home.
Gloved legs pulled her along the ground closer to her pack, closer to her water and with every step she smiled broader until her smile split nearly from ear to ear. ninja

As patrol, this was what he had to do, right? Walk around the borders, 'n the center, and everything, see was was happening. The only problem about knowing the place like your nose, almost like it, is that it eventually got boring. Oh, look at that rock! and that tree! Well, that was actually a pretty nice tree.
Now, though, the wind scent him something else. Familiar, like it had before with Binifu, but not Binifu, definately not. He'd been down that slope Kizaki was going down, further, bore at the edges of the forest, o he fur matched quite neatly with the grass, only she was moving. Blue eyes blinked repeatedly, if only for the enjoyment of Kizaki seeming to be in slow motion, witch was pretty funny.
Soon enough, he remembered who this was, and yipped loudly, tail wagging more furiously. He reared slightly on his hind paws, over and over again, running in thiny circles as if chasing his tail, stomping his paws, a stupid grin on his face.
Yeah, Ouro was a complete idiot.
"'lo Kizaki! " It had taken him a while to recall her name; they were in the same pack, 'n had met, but.. Ouro was dumb, and his memory wasn't sogreat.

Stopping in mid barrel rolling run, Kizaki came to a halt and landed on her golden caped back with a loud thud. Turning her gaze, unfaltering, to Ouro she smiled as she recognized the large orange and white male. She'd met him in passing one time, though he hadn't been chasing his tail at the time.
"Ouro! It's nice to see you again!" Kizaki said as she trotted over to him, making sure to be somewhat respectful in her approach since, even though he was very attractive for some reason, he was still the Head Patrol. "Kizaki hasn't seen you in the longest, how've you been?"
Sitting down before the other and making sure she looked at least semi-presentable, Kizaki smiled at him brightly and wagged her teal striped tail back and forth hyperly. It wasn't every day that she was sitting in the presence of a male when the pack was comprised of quite a few females instead of males. It made her happy to think that she was alone with one of them even if at the moment she was a little... confused by him. ninja

"Ouro hasn't seen Kizaki in-- " He paused, tripping on his won paws(as usual), and flopping on his belly, but stillwith a very dumb and content smile on his face. Ouro was barely ever actually serious, was he?
"Long time! " He at up straight, tail wagigng and lifting leaf and dust from the ground. "Where has Kizakibeen? Ouro has been patroling, like Ouro always does. " He said this proudly, yet a bit dissapointed. He was very happy as patrol but-- well, he could use some company. Though, he did sometimes find others, like that time he found Cascata and Lela!

Smiling softly and nodding her head to agree with him, Kizaki laid down in front of him so she didn't appear to be above him and insult him. Both of her ears pricked up slightly and she wagged her tail some more as a larger smile spread over her muzzle.
"Patroling eh? Kizaki has been looking for someone, or something, she isn't sure what it was. But now she's back." the female responded smoothly, her white fur shimmering in the moonlight as she sat up and glanced at how his proud expression fell for a moment. "What's wrong? Is it lonely patroling all by yourself Ouro?"
Her voice was fairly soft, she'd never patrolled before in her life, but right now with that look on his face, that faintly sad and dissapointed look, she could give up swimming for the night if it got that look off of his orange and white muzzle. It upset her to see others like this, even if it was a faint flicker like his had been. ninja

"Ouro gets bored, I guess. " He shrugged, grinning. "Cause most of the time nothing changes, but when it does its pretty fun! " He said, grinning as stupidly as before. "Like when Ouro sees rabbit he chases! " It was no secret that Ouro's hunting was pathetic. Brought up by a jackal, Preta, he hadn't learned much of it, for jackals were scavangers on most part.
"'n once Ouro played with Lela and Cascata. " He nodded. "Patrolin' be pretty ok. "

"Kizaki gets bored herself, Ouro isn't alone." She said as she pounced on him and tackled the slightly larger orange and white male. "Want Kizaki to take you swimming? Ouro can try and catch fish down in the pond rather than rabits."
Her teal tail swung black and forth happily as she pricked her ears forward happily. Ouro seemed like there wasn't much there, though Kizaki had to admit that it was nice to not be judged for her language or how she didn't appear to be all there herself.
"Played with them eh? Kizaki remembers those names, Miremba's pups yeah?" She crowed brightly from her spot on his chest. ninja

Ouro squeaked when tackled, but grinned tail baggins, and pawed at her chest with his front paws. "Ouro doesn't got swimming much, but ok! ' He grinned, attempting to squeeze out from beneath Kiazki.
He managed to get away, and rolled over onto his paws, tail wagging, front end bowed as if he were about to run.
"Yeah. Ouro play tag with them. "

A grin crozzed her muzzle and she took off from atop of his body, wagging her tail and stopping a few feet away. It was a teasing move, a way for her to say 'Come and catch me, I'll take you there'
"Well then? Tag, eh?" Kizaki smirked lightly and trotted up to him, poking her nose in the center of his chest and giggling. "Tag! You're it!" And she shot off over the ground towards the water.
Her teal tail swung backand forth as she ran, making her look like she was leading him with her striped tail. Off under the stars and into the night she dissapeared, her gold markings leading the way. ninja

There was a grn, and his tail lost control quickly enough, more like a blur behind him if anything. When she tagged him, he reared up, landed, and by then she was off.
The male bounded off behind the younger female, tail finally slowing its wag a bit, as to no break off his balance, maw open, tongue lolling out. Slowly, his orange/gold fur started to vanish into the foilage.
