Okay, gangstas. Here's my story.
Early September I went out and got a 360 package with:
Xbox 360
One Wireless Controller
3 months of Xbox Live
PGR3
Helix
Okay, pretty cool the game wouldn't be my first choice but it entained me for a monthish. Then later I got Saints Row and another wireless controller.
Now it was all fine and dandy but then BAM! It would freeze. Not a huge problem I thought. Just need to be paitent while pressing buttons while things are loading.(I sometimes get carried away with pressing things to quickly) But then I saw a pattern 2-4 times a week it would freeze and I would have to shut down my Xbox completely. Now my friend has the same problem but his is more 4-6 times a week. He said his started off slow and got worse. He's exchanging it today for a new one. He said I should do the same. Now again I don't want to return something if it's my fault and pressing the buttons too quickly but sometimes I completely not even touching my controller and BOOM! I have to restart my Xbox. I bought the year warranty on the Xbox so that shouldn't be a huge problem.
They thing is my Gamertag, Achievements and all my saved games are on my hard drive. I don't want to spend hours on any of my two games to beat it and get the gamer points for it again. Also I have bought a few things off the marketplace. I don't want to lose any of this. I'm not willing to spend money I don't have on a memory card either. The good side to exchanging my system is supposedly you get a pack for a pack. PGR wasn't my first choice in a game and alot of the packs are alot better.
Here are some examples of packs on the stores around here. Pack 1) GRAW, 6 Arcade games instead of one arcade game and PGR Pack 2) GRAW, 12 Arcade games instead of the games I got. Pack 3) Gears of War instead of the game I have. Pack 4) GRAW, Gears of War, Ridge Racer, 6 arcade games instead of the stuff I got. I've been wanting GRAW and GoW for awhile now. Getting one of these instead of PGR might make up for the losing points bit. But I'm not sure what pack is at the store I have. Another obvious pro is too get rid of darn freezing inconvience.
Also I have questions. With the Warranty I got a year. If I exchanged my Xbox would that year be completely gone or would I have a few months left. Also the EB I got this from says they don't ask you any questions with the warranty. So really say I could exchange my PGR for the three games in pack 4 it would be very cool. But say they still offered the PGR pack. Is there some way to keep my PGR copy, headset controller all that and just exchange the system?
I'd like all these questions anwsered please. This is very important to me.
