By the time he'd gotten back from the lake and his following walk, it was late into the evening. His shirt was still a little damp, so he kept it unbuttoned. It wasn't cold that evening, more like a muggy warmth as the weather decided if it wanted to continue to rain later.. or just get cold with the change of the winds again.
He'd stopped off at Ankita's trailor to grab a cigarette and taken to wandering the grounds again. There wasn't any use sitting somewhere wet and catch his cold. At least with the walk, he could linger around torchlight or various fires and warm himself up.
Charlot paused at one of the ground torches, lighting his cigarette before turning to scan the area he'd stopped in.
"Hmm.."

Dahli had set herself up near one of the many campfires with her sketchbook and pastels in hand. Something about dusk and fire light always seemed to inspire her and she was currently trying to capture the right colors to possibly use later. Her fingers were covered in the colorful waxy/chalky stuff as she had resorted to using them instead of her blending tools.
She currently sat, fixating on the campfire in front of her.

Charlot smirked as he spotted a familiar little hat and figure. He wandered over to her casually, peering forward to see what she was working on so hard. Dahli was sketching the colors of the flames, fingertips covered in the colors she was using. He stepped up beside her, making himself known so as to not startle her or anything.
"Nice work, y'capture th'colors pretty damn close. Oi've never seen paint like that b'fore..."

"Oh!" Dahli was so into her own work that Charlot's words still startled her. She looked up at him and smiled, her face already flush from the warmth of the fire.
She grabbed the box of colored sticks near her, all were broken or worn down to tiny nubs. "I got these from some world... I can't remember. I have a tendancy to collect art supplies from other worlds, but I rarely use them as much as I do these. These things are just great for capturing colors."
She scooted over on her bench, leaving room for Charlot to sit if he wanted to, and returned to smudging the colors on the paper.

"Ah, Oi see.." Charlot stepped over, taking a seat beside her. It was close to the fire, so he would warm up and dry a lot easier. He kept his cigarette to the other side of him, not wanting it in her face. It wasn't noticable at all over the smoke from the fire.
"Are y'workin on anythin important, or jus playin around?" He grinned, watching her create swirls of smudged color.

"Mmmm just playing, I guess." With a loud rip, Dahli tore her current page out and set it in the stack on the other side of her. "More like referencing I guess." She took some bits of black and blue and started putting down the colors of the darkening sky.
"How has your first few days been? Getting along okay?" she said without even looking Charlot's way.

"Eh, s'far.. so'kay." Charlot shrugged, eyes locked onto the flames. "I've met most o'th'new performers like meself. Oi've managed t'keep busy around 'ere. Oi think that constitutes as 'doin' mighty fine'."
He paused in his words to smoke, exhaling a silvery plume toward the flames and watching it dissolve into the black.
"Oi've got a question f'you, Dolly.. seein as you're me mentor an' all... I figure y'can answer this an gimme whatever solution fits."

Dahli nodded, a little suprised that he had met all these new people that she hadn't even met yet. "I guess I've just been hiding a little too much lately," she said to herself.
Seeing Charlot's smoke sparked another bought of inspiration in her and she tore her current page out with another loud rip and took up a few other colors to try and capture the color right.
"I'll do my best to answer anything," she said with a smile, hoping that his question wasn't too prying.

"Well, y'see... Oi've got a bit of a problem. Eva'so often durin a month I lose me mind an' go feral." He frowned a bit, thinking that was the best way to describe it. "Oi was wonderin' if it were possible to get chained up an put in one of th'animal trailors durin those times. It might be one 'ell of a side show... wild man or somethin'... Oi leave that up t'you to figure out 'ow it's played."
He cast a sidelong glance at her, returning the cigarette to his lips.

Dahli giggled to herself. "And here I thought you were good with knives, not the old wildman routine. We're currently lacking any big animals, so almost all of those cages in the animal trailer are pretty much free for the taking."
She finally took her eyes off her paper and looked to him. "When do you 'go feral' next?"

"Well, this is jus'a problem that comes up every now and then..." Charlot murmured, smirking a little. "December 5th, couple weeks down th'road. I'd 'ave kept it to meself, but Oi kill people an this place is suitin' me jus fine for now. Oi'd 'ate t'ave t'leave so soon."
"Y'can just shackle me up some where- doesn' 'ave to be in the trailor.. jus'as long as oi can come out when oi'm bein a g'boy." He could care less, otherwise. He was just offering them to make a buck off it, since he was currently employed here.
"Y'ever 'eard of anything like this b'fore?"

"I've heard of a lot of things before. We had a warewolf employed here once. Really nice guy too, when he wasn't snarly and snappy. He'd lock himself up in one of the animal cages every so often, and we'd let him out when he was done. Wasn't a big deal... at least not to me. But I'd keep it under wraps just in case some of these new people have never... dealt with anything like that before."
"Are you a warewolf or something?" Dahli was slowly getting more used to talking to Charlot and was now actually looking him in the eye when asking him a question.

"Actually, oi dunno what it is." Charlot shrugged, turning to look at her since she was speaking AT him and not the sketch book. "Oi've never turned into a wolf 'efore.... at least, to me knowlage. I just go a bit crazy an wake up after murderin' people. Somethin' 'appens in th'moon."
He couldn't explain the bloodlust, or he feelings of anger that came when the phases shifted. He just got grumpier until he was lashing out at anyone nearby. It was always a tell-tale sign he needed to go away somewhere.

"Hmm... maybe you're possessed by something. Or its some sort of disease. In any case, we don't need any more murders around here, so we'll be sure to keep you locked up safe... er for our safty that is."

@ "Thanks Dolly, I's appreciate it greatly." He turned back to watch the flames, thoughtful.
Possessed? Perhaps he was. But.. with what? It had started when he was far younger. He couldn't remember exactly when... maybe something had happened to him.
"Well, oi won't bother y'while y'workin... thanks for th'advice." Charlot stood up, dusting his hands off. "See y'round, Dolly." He cast a final glance at her scribbles, then headed back into the night of the camp.
