-Since Gaara is off talking to the Judge and his mommy, thought we'd use here to catch up on what Kaspar and Hugo are doing.-
-----

The place where Kaspar and his towering zoid had settled was enormous, but at the same time, had the feel of a curious neverland. There was an enormous variety of things lining walls and shelves, and curious things that tended to appear in places you wouldn't expect them. Cans and boxes of food might sit next to broken toys or unskillfully repaired toys, while on the bench below, an elaborate pair of dolls in the most delicate and regal of dress, their costumes half finished and the supplys to finish them gathering a faint miasma of dust, demonstrated an level of skill entirely appart from the stuffed tiger with stuffing leaking out of it's torn seams.
Kaspar himself seems to demonstrate something of this chaotic logic still, though here his strange and almost fractured behavior seems to rule the day, it certainly fits here better than a static mind.
One of the most curious themes however, is the occasional, usually hidden theme of '13'. Looking closely enough, it might be found just about anywhere here. Things coming in sets of 13, or having it carved somewhere into them, like the tattoos on Kaspar's arms. No where however is there any explination of what it means to the man.
The final bizzarity is one of the most unusual mini zoids Hugo himself has probably ever seen, an surrealistic looking thing like the bastardized cross between a squid and an ostrich. Perhaps it's broken itself because it's behavior can be hard to follow, although it does an curiously good job at making the place smell a lot better than an haven of dust and age rightfuly should.

Hugo craned his neck upwards to inspect everything on the top shelves, glancing slowly between all the unfinished dolls, toys and other strange little trinkets sitting around on the shelves and floor. The small organoid earned a startled yelp out of the boy. In all his young years he'd heard of the minature zoids...but never actually seen one. He had pictured them to be slightly more...dignified? Though now that he double-took the situation, it fit in with the place.

"This is your home?" He turned over to Kaspar, itching to ask a pile of other questions. What was with the number thirteen anyway? Why were all the dolls only half finished? What was with the dolls or that freaky organoid? The question wasn't sarcastic or disappointed in anyway, more curious than anything.

"This is where we live." Kaspar agreed, nodding faintly, looking over the strange trinkets with a faint, thoughtful frown. Many of them seem to trigger that strange tendecy toward 'microexpression'. Flickers of emotion almost too fast to see, more registered by the viewer as 'feelings' about what might be going through anothers head. Some of them are soothing, others....hard to read, maybe even filled with that lurking rage you'd met earlier.
The SMOSQ Mini Zoid gave a rather curious warble, waving it's 'tentacles' and scrrambling off in a curious avian run, tentacles waving, though Kaspar seems undisturbed by its flight, although it's flight jostles a table causing a stack of old photo's to topple, spilling several across the floor. One of them is a fairly large group of people, many different ages, though one of them is recognizable, although it takes a moment, as Kaspar. His hair is shorter, and he has no tattoos, but what made it most difficult to recognize him is the openness in his gaze, a lack of the closed hardness it has now. Equally surprising perhaps is a boy that might well be Gaara, though with his face mostly hidden behind a plush toy it's hard to tell.

Where... we live? Hugo quietly wondered what exactally the man meant by that. We as in himself and Kaspar? Kaspar and that...strange organoid? Kaspar and his zoid? It was hard to say but for the moment he'd leave it unanswered. "It's nice." He commented as his eyes trailed slowly around the place, now and then shooting back to the SMOSQ.

He cautiously walked himself around, looking more closely to the unfinished dolls and toys, eventually finding the picture. He crouched down a bit looking over each of the figures in the frozen memory. He knew two of them...he'd met that kid with the toy. The one that thought his zoid was his mother...and Kaspar. It took a moment to register but that was him. Those dark eyes, the dark hair and skin though the expression was something else. "Is this your family?" He asked carefully, glancing back to the man.

".....No....." Kaspars voice seemed to change again, it's a little like watching a series of ghosts. "...That was the school." This voice is small, and there's something about it that sounds almost like you're listening to someone much younger than the Kaspar standing here, though it's quickly replaced by an deep growl, half an octive lower. "It's gone now. As are most of the students. Don't go to the school. You won't like their lessons." He snapped, sliding a foot over the photo as though he were symbolicly crushing it. In a single shift of posture he's gone from small and frail to a towering protective giant, as though some stronger figure had stepped in front of the child. In fact thats almost exactly what it's like, even his body posture briefly suggests the shielding of someone delicate.

Hugo backed up slowly, half afraid and half feeling sorry for the man. He lost his friends too. They weren't too unlike eachother. Maybe if he knew about the other kid... maybe he did already. "..I saw one of them." He piped in, "The one with the stuffed animal. He showed me how to get back here when I got Fubar. I bet I could find him again for you, I'm getting better at the controls." He smiled a bit, trying to offer at least that much comfort. "I bet he misses you too."

"....He missess Opah." The deep voice growled, though it makes a smile play at the corner of his mouth. "....She has a soft spot for children. And the boy understands us well."

Hugo nodded slowly, pretending to understand. Something warned him about asking too much about these other people Kaspar mentioned. He'd learn in time, there wasn't much of a hurry.

"Hey... do you want me to make you something? I can cook if you have a kitchen. Mom taught me, lots of spicey things though. My village was pretty fond of peppers."

"There's a kitchen." He growls still, thoughtfuly. "But maybe not so much in it right now." Then the voice shifts again and there's a tone there, hard to pin down that's different from the others. Comforting, gentle. For lack of a better term 'motherly'. "Lets go see."
