Paws struck the ground as a large body flew over it with speed that only a god could have. He of course had no wings on his back, at least none that any mortal would have been able to see, so it made it a little unbelievable that he was a god. A dark red tail flew out behind him as he ran, it was pluffier than a normal tail, longer and thicker as was his mane, though that was stuck ungrown.
Stopping next to a large slanted tree, Athrun stared up in the bows and debated going for something akin to a climb. It was something he did when he was overly full and wanted to lay down somewhere that mortals wouldn't bug him, his wings spread out over the lower limbs though no mortal would see that.
Athrun was a lonely god, and as such normally he liked to be alone, though he'd have given both of his wings just to lay down beside his mate again and wrap her close to his body. Azraceri was what made him smile in life, that and his two beautiful cubs. He felt for once that he was doing something right, it was just sad that his life would expand so much longer than any of theirs. He really would have to figure out some way to remember them. An infinte life made it hard to remember everything that had happened to him. ninja

The orange lioness had found something she deemed worthy enough for her mate to have. AS she was a part from him, she could always feel his presence beside her, whispering to her. The feather behind her ear was his, no one would know that though as he was not stupid enough to meandering around with his wings present. Azra knew that. It was a very special feather, some may call it "just a feather" but to her, it was so much more. It was the God's commitment and love to her as she saw it as. It was the God itself.
In her maw was a small gem placed between her fangs, held up by her tongue from falling into her maw and then into her throat. It was the gift she planned to give to Athrun. She had help with it, but hey, that snake scared her. She didn't like them taht much since her first experience with one. Still frightened her how big they could get.
The female searched high and low for the elusive mate of hers. One of these days, she will have to tie him down or something just to find him! She paced herself slowly to a slanted tree and placed the gem down. Her violet eyes looked around for the God...no sight.
"Athrun, where are you!"
She called out. She knew that if she called, he would come. If not, then well...lets say he will be feeling something in the morning.

Halfway up the tree already, Athrun's ears shot up as he heard his name called out over the wind. Azraceri wanted him, that was as good a reason as any to go and see her, especially since he knew what sort of pain he would be in if he actually didn't answer her calls.
Opening both of his large white wings and sailing out over the ground with speed that only a god could reach of course. He saw orange in the distance and pulled up to a stop, dropping hind feet first to the ground and dissipating his wings to the wind as he trotted up to her.
"You rang?" Athrun said in a smooth voice just before making himself visible to her perfect purple eyes.
There was something about this orange and purple lioness that made him smile and want to gather her close to him. Trotting up he draped a large wing over her shoulders and pulled the beautiful lioness to his larger white chest in one smooth motion. ninja

Azra chuckled and brushed a paw softly across the male's chest, he always knew how to make her purr. Ever since she had met the male, everything changed about her. She no longer sought her own demise, she had a purpose to live and Athrun gave it to her. She had a family now with this male, two wonderful boys, rambuncious as they are. Athrun had saved her.
"I did, I didn't think you'd come this time. Then again, you'd know what would happen if you didn't."
She smirked, eying up at him brushing her claws smoothly over his skin. Azra would never dream of harming the wonderful male. She thought about it and had acted upon it. But she would feel a great deal of guilt afterwards. It would seem anything revolving around her three boys made her worry a lot.
The orange lioness purred and nuzzled into his soft, white fur. It was her world there, her spot and no other. This large white fluffy fur was her cloud in the endless sky.
"I missed you, Athrun....how are they boys? Dumu? Aki? Dumu said that he was gonna spend the night with you and Aki while I took care of some business."
Azra had allowed Dumu to leave, when he did he called back telling her that he was off to spend the night with Athrun. Who's idea was it to seperate the family like they did? Azra always missed Athrun when they were a part. She was sure that he felt the same.

A deep purr worked from Athrun's chest and he smiled down at his orange and violet goddess. He didn't need a literal goddess, he had one in his arms right now and she was far better than any goddess he'd ever met in his long life. Azraceri had saved him, though she probably didn't know it at all. The time they had met Athrun hadn't been doing well, he'd been thinking about starting his life over again in the form of a cub, to start his life from the bottom up so he didn't remember his past.
Licking her orange cheek softly, Athrun chuckled and pulled her tighter to him.
"Now why wouldn't I come when you called? Don't you remember my love? I promised I'd always come when you called." Athrun said quietly, "I've missed you so much Azra. And yes, both of them are fine. Dumu slept rather well, though he did wake up a few times during the night when he rolled into someone. Akiiki never sleeps all through the night, so there was no suprise there."
Athrun never slept, or when he did it wasn't in the presence of his family. He didn't want them hurt and he always kept his eyes open. But it was also something much more deep, much more personal. He was afraid to sleep because he didn't want to be vulnerable... didn't want to be hurt anymore.
But he was hurting, every time he wasn't with Azraceri he was hurting. Why she and his son had such a wanderlust was beyond Athrun, but it hurt him that he was stuck at a den without her. ninja

Azra nuzzled him softly, purring into his chest. Her body shivered quickly before calming down. She missed having the God touched her, it made her feel untouchable, unable to be harmed. Athrun was her castle, her impenetrable wall, the only who is allowed in are those he deems worthy and she herself. She knew of only few weaknesses of the God, but she would never hold him against them for it was her own as well.
Azra purred and rolled onto her back, leaning against his heavy chest.
"I am glad the boys are fine. Dumu has inherited my tendency to wander away when no one is looking. If you are here, I assume he has taken Aki on some little adventure of his. But I just wished all of you would get some sleep."
She knew Aki's lack of sleep, Athrun's lack of sleep, and Dumu's wake nights. Was she the only one who slept? She might become like them worrying over their sleeping habits. Azra felt so weak that she was not able to make them happy. Aki is always awake worrying about something, Dumu can't touch anyone without the possibility of trespassing on their privacy, and Athrun was a completely different field all in himself.
"Oh! Athrun, I got this for you."
She spoke, reaching down and showing him the orange gem in her paws. Her eyes narrowed, a seductive smirk on her maw.
"I got it for you, m'lord."

Wrapping his large wings around her softly, Athrun smiled down at his mate and closed his eyes behind the black blindfold for a moment. There was something about this female that made him feel incredibly weak. Maybe it was just that she was everything to him, everything that made him smile and live. For that was what it was, he lived for her and for his cubs. Athrun didn't know what he would do when he didn't have them, it was hard for an immortal to go through his entire lifespan and remember everything, but it was obvious to him that he would never forget Azra or either of his cubs.
"I know he did, though I wish we all stayed together more often I do understand that a cub has to do what a cub has to do. There's no tying them down or they'll end up hating you." Athrun spoke these words but he also spoke them knowing that he had to be one of the worst fathers in existance, he let his cubs run wild and he let his family before die. Even though he was trying to get his bearings together with this one he had no idea how to. But he was afraid to tell Azraceri that, afraid to let her know that he had no idea what he was doing.
Tilting both of his ears forward as she spoke, he lilted his head down and gazed at the small orange gem in her paws. It was as shocking an orange color as her fur and when he gazed down into it he saw his mate's essence.
"For me m'lady? You shouldn't have." Athrun said gently and pulled it off of her paws. In a moment it dissapeared and reappeared on his ear as if it had been there all along. ninja

"I love it when you do that, m'lord."
She chuckled inwardly, using the title that Athrun so disliked. He disliked her using such proper words. One of these days, she made a note to be entirely proper just to bug her mate for the day, just for fun. Carefully, she raised her head up to n** and lick at his chin.
"You look stunning, Athrun. Absolutely stunning."
She purred and curled up between his paws, feeling his embrace. She loved his feeling, it made her feel like she belonged somewhere, somewhere needed and wanted. Athrun saved her, without him, she would have found her place of rest and died there. Without him, some other male would have taken her during her heat. She was just glad that he promised to be there for her to protect her while she was in heat. Unfortunately, the heat got the better of her and she asked him to mate with her. Was it the heat...or her heart? Regardless, she was glad he did. She was foolish, she didn't know that immortals could ever reproduce. She herself had never seen any besides her mate. So it was natural unless they have a way to be entirely invisible or something.
"Athrun...from now on, we are staying together. I don't like being away from you. If Dumu wanders, he could come there because that is where we are."
She purred, nuzzling, licking, and purring in his chest.

Smiling softly down at his orange mate, Athrun wiggled his ear to make the cuff dance in the sunlight and the orange gem catch the rays to make an orange glowing spot on the ground. It was just like her, his little ray of sunlight was now able to cast a glow on the ground and it made the god break out in spontanious laughter.
Falling over and pulling her on top of his belly at the same time, Athrun kissed her cheek and laid his head back lightly, happy that she was with him, happy that he was home suddenly. Whenever he was with her he was home.
"I would love that, it would give us all a home, and as much stability as we can have in this world." Athrun said as he licked the top of her fluffy head with a broad smile. ninja

Azra purred as she was pulled onto his chest, surprised at first, bit the feeling was brief. She was used to him doing it, and in fact, she enjoyed it. She smiled and crawled up the white cloud's body and rested her head against his upper chest, purring. Her paws roamed his chest softly, gliding over every curve of the ribs she could feel.
"Athrun, I am tired. I had spent much of my time seeking that gem for you. We shall return home when the great white circle rises. Please give me while."
She spoke, resting her head against his bosm, purring. He was extremely comfortable for such a fierce creature. She liked resting on his chest, it made it so he could not leave her while she slumbered. If he pushed her off, then she would wake. With one last lick upon his fur, she was gone.

Wrapping his wings around the both of them, Athrun didn't respond to his mate, simply letting her drift off in her favorite place. It made her shiver every time that she touched him.
Maybe it was his love for her, or her love for him. But either way, as the god drifted off to sleep he felt the weight of the gem on his ear and smiled. ninja
