The La Brea Tar Pits is located in Hancock Park in the Miracle Mile district of Los Angeles. It has long been known to be a prime place for finding fossils of various mammals, reptiles, and invertebrates. Also, it is known to be a very dangerous place because tar is very hard to get out of. A large number of people have fallen into the pits over the years, mostly children, and only a few have actually been rescued. So, as the result of this, the walking path has been moved farther and farther away from the pits themselves to dissuade any atempts by children or otherwise to go closer. This has not always worked however, as the distance makes people want to go near it even more and has become an even bigger problem than before.
Becuase of the masking ability of tar, it has been used as a dumping place for bodies. These bodies would be eventually unearthed, but it would take many years for them to be found. Many groups, immortal or otherwise, use this place as a useful eradication of evidence to their activities. Another point is that with the many trees in the area, many immortals can be found hiding in the treetops in the night, possibly pouncing on an unsuspecting victim. This leaves an easy disposal of the body with the pits close nearby. The victims are usually security guards or teenage kids that have broken into the park as a prank.

Jax checked out the La Brea Tar Pits. He was having a great time finding garbage and tossing it into the tar only to see moments later the tar explode in sticky globs outwards. He laughed happily.

Michelle heaved and panted under the weight of his last meal, "Memo to self...never pick a guy who smells like twinkies!"
A quarter fell from the victim's pocket and glinted under the moonlight as it rolled. "...shiny...." Michelle took one step in haste and lost all forms of vampilic grace. He was pinned under the is victim and barly able to move his head. "Irony sucks...curse your shininess stupid coin."

Jax heard a voice not to far off and jogged to find the sorce. He came to a near silent hault when the smell of death touched his nose. Much more cautiosly he approached the source to see a dead body fall onto a person. He couldn't react quickly enough to stifle an audible chuckle.

"Huh," He heard a muffled laugh in one of the many newly formed blind spoted, give by his pardicament. Confused and irked in the same instant, he couldn't detect a heartbeat to follow up the arrival of the voice.
"Yo hey," he shouted. "You wanna help me out here? Be a friend?...Come on this guy a fricken' ton and reeks of Cheetos! Pity me!"
He stretched and coiled his fingers trying to wave for attention while feebly kicking uder the the mas of blubber.

Ceon walked towards the tar pits on top of a twenty foot cliff that dropped straight into the tar. Ceon held no emotion on his face as he walked closer and closer to the edge of the cliff. He looked down at the tar pit, memories of the great battle rumaging through his head, memories of close friends being cast into hell or completely destroyed. He jumped off of the cliff into a diving pose headed straight for the tar. As he came inches away fro splashing into the pit, his large black wings spread from tears on his shirt and he flew vertically along the tar. He flew straight up and around in circles, not caring if anyone saw him. This is what he did when he felt depressed, unwanted or insecure. It helped him collect his thoughts and calm down.

((Oh nice! heart a comdemed angel looking for redemtion who's gone be hangin' with a vampire that makes furniture out of his victims and a demon...whose profile I haven't read yet-but it should be fun nonetheless. If you don't mind I'm going to not add the the thrill and wait for Ligato to post. Please feel free to fly over us, see, and attack, talk, make friendly, flirt, whatever...DUDE that would be so funny if you attacked before Jax got the fat guy off me!Vampire trying to fight while pinned.....I digress. now I think I'll shutup.))

((Yeah I'm a rare entry now too but totally against my will. If one of you would like to lift the fat guy off of me to get things moving it would be much appreiated. I can't move so I can't do much that's the only reason we're waiting....))

Neve disposed of the body in the tar pits, making sure her most recent meal wouldn't come back. She sighed and stood up, stretching her hands. The drama of The Babylon was getting to her, children drove her insane.
Sniffing, she smelt another human, and a Vampire...? None of her business, she reminded herself, but her curiosity got the best of her anyhow. She came across Michelle trapped under the man and grinned, "Need a hand?"

Ceon flew high over Neve and Michelle, watching them from a distance. He couldn't help but let out a sinful chuckle at the vampire stuck under the grotesquely bulbous man. He thought of flying down and introducing himself, but he didn't know how the group would react to a fallen angel. He would keep above them for a bit, then see what happens.

Ceon grew bored quickly as the vampire struggled to lift the hefty man off of her and decided to leave. Maybe he'd find some peace or excitement in the park.

"Need a hand," a second entity purred in another of his blind spots.
Conflicted between common manners and self frustration he shouted a whinning response, "DUH!"
He kicked and wiggled febily knowing that it looked adorible, "Please, get this tub of butter off me...."
When he heard feet steps he smiled to himself, "Sympathy, the ultimate defence...even if it is a lame."
