Loud rock music was heard before the door even opened into this shop. Was that heavy metal? Hmmm unable to be sure at the moment. All that was easy to assume was that it was pretty damn loud. Standing on a dias that led down more into the store, it was easy to see the three attendants who manned this store. One at the register, the second restocking some rather punk styles outfits on a floor below the entrance floor and a third, who seemed the only ‘preppy’ dressed of the three was hanging up more formal wear.

Maybe they were deaf and that was why they didn’t seem to care about the music. Though it did have a nice beat to it. “Oy! Welcome!” Ah, the guests arrival had been spotted by the girl at the front counter, a bright smile on her face. Her nametag read Kuika when one got close enough to notice it on top of her mesh shirt. “Welcome to Killing Light! What can I do you for?” Shifting off her chair, multi-colored lighting above her shone off her set of rings, one for each of her slim fingers and almost blinding her customer as she shifted them a bit. “Looking for something formal or something casual? Here at the K.L, we have everything you need to become the hottest dude on campus! First level is casual gear. Second level is formal. Underground is your one spot source for vids, cds and games! We even sell PSP and DS as well as other systems! Sorry, if you’re looking for manga, we no longer sell it here. Gotta go to Clockturners for that. There’s also an area where you can buy furniture for you room should you want it. Anything trendy, you can only find it here at K.L! Maybe.. if you’re good and shop here a lot, you can get a discount! So.. how about it, handsome? What can we do you for?”

Within itself, it could be said that the Killing Lights was a mini mall within itself, except it was all for clothing basically. The first section of the shop which included the entrance and front service counter, was placed on an attic sort of setting, allowing visitors to see all of the shop in a fell swoop. Second floor, though it’s called “First level” by the workers, was held for the casual gear, though there were some goth clothing tossed in as well. Shoes, boots and socks, as well as accessories for this style of clothing were close by one of the many dressing rooms of the place. This floor is easy to reach by heading down the only set of spiraling stairs to the left of the service counter.

Second level, technically the third floor, was for the formal gear. School uniforms, dress outfits and the like could be found here. It was also easy to reach there, walking down the stairs towards the largest dressing room on First Level. Accessories and footwear for this styling can also be found by the dressing rooms. The largest area of this place, and the shop was already pretty big to begin with, was the Underground, which required a quick trip down an elevator at the back of the Second Level, or to the direct left of the entrance.

Movies, posters, videos, DVDs.. the list only seemed to grow as one delved deeper into this area. Ah, seemed there was a fourth worker there, who was too busy playing a PSP to really take much notice of visitors at the moment. It’s a relaxing thought to know one doesn’t have to rag everything back upstairs to just pay for it. Furniture was more towards the back of this area, everything well lighted so everything on display was easy to say. It was also easy to assume that many people spent a lot of time there just hanging out, since there were tons of well used chairs laying about.
