well i dont know about optical mines just a ball but anyway mines more relaible than your was since you had to change the batteries in it blaugh

I don't know much about mouses but i see a ball so i have a ball mouse. Is optical the ones with the laser or something?

yeah it uses a lazer instead od a ball.never needs cleaning & moves really smooth dramallama

i only have a ball type mouse
i've never used the optical ones...
but i'm guessing it's better to fish w/ those
since it doesn't have a cord
i've yanked out the cord before sweatdrop ninja

I use a corded mouse. But i really want one that I can plug something into one of the usb ports.

i have an optical mouse and yes its good at fishing and its not wireless it has a cord but i still like it i heart my mouse *hugs mouse*

optical corded/or cordless are both very easy to fish with because they are smooth and they always glide the same but the ball can sometimes skip or jot

mines optical, but it has a cord so i guess thats better control when fishing, lol
