Totally loved it. Utterly and totally. Gonna rewatch a bit before bed in hopes it might inspire some written thought.
Take a wild guess at which bit. Lol.

It was pretty damn good. And with more dramatic and exciting insights into Jack's past. And plenty of Jack in dramatic action poses, which is always good.

Next time i should maybe write down my thoughts on the episode so i dont forget them... But here are some key thoughts i thinked:
Owen hates the country. Like me.
Wow that's well clever how they spelled that name... It's a pun! Woah, isn't that clever...
Gwen's gun is meat
Jack's gun is tiny
Ianto has the only good gun

Gwen and OWEN?!!
Uhh, yeah.
Anyway, a pretty good episode... and I'm glad they didn't kill the tone by periodically injecting humor during tense moments (like they did in Cyberwoman). The dialogue between the Torchwood members at the campsite was good. Lord knows why Toshiko wants Owen.

That's why Gwen was so disturbed by it all... she couldn't understand how a town of normal humans could go around killing and eating people. It's a theme Lovecraft explored in a couple of his stories.

Wow. That was a cross between the episode "The Benders" from Supernatural and the movie Jeepers Creepers.
I loved it. But Jack's gun really was small! What was with that?
And I could have sworn I heard the man growling at one point... and what was with the ridiculous speed and such? *cough*Wendigo?*cough*
Anyhoo... t'was great. I feel sorry for Gwen's boyfriend. And Jack looked so sad when he heard about Owen and Gwen's kiss. Hm... Is there jealousy? Gwen is kind of like Rose. But we'll see. whee Greeks Bearing Gifts is next! Is that Medusa?

Sepik I loved it. But Jack's gun really was small! What was with that? If you think back to the story "Bad Wolf" and where Jack keeps his gun hidden... gonk

Wow...that episode was the scariest one so far. It was a brilliant episode, with all the tension being built up. I agree with Hairy about how the lack of humour definitely helped.
But all I could think of was how hopeless everyone is at putting up tents!!! And surely Torchwood could afford some modern, easy-to-put-up tents. I mean, the SUV must have been rather expensive!

Crumpet Lord Ianto has the only good gun Thats because he normally makes coffee for a living, so they figured if they gave him the gun that could take out tree trunks, he might be able to hit the enemy if he was attacked, lol.
