Well deserved too. As much as I don't like him, you have to admit, even since his rookie season, no other team has performed consistently on a higher level.

It's about time that guy won the championship. Now lets see him do it with a crew chief that doesn't cheat. (thinks the Daytona 500 xd ) Nah I'm just being mean. Congratulations to Jimmie!

I thought 2006 was a good year, other than Jr. not winning the championship. This is going to be a year in which other years are compared to, simply because it is the last full year of the current car. The Car of Tomorrow is going to mark an era change.

And I honestly thought for a second that Burton would actually win the championship. A blown tire and an engine failure took care of that
