So here they were again, after some coaxing from his father the owl had been drug along once again to help out with the class. It was a flying class so he knew that he would need some help with it, "It won't be as bad as the last time I am sure." Orpheus said as Ligeia and Vorel trained along looking at each other with a look that said 'maybe'.
They were brought out to the same area that they had gone to the last time they were training flying outside and a note had been sent to the next bird's parents to tell them where they would be at.
"This time don't tell him to beat me up?"
"I told him to use the same wing-beats as you." The rest it would seem was lost in the translation, "I will use different terms this time around to try to keep from causing a fight ok?" He'd only had two fights in his classes so far so he didn't think he was doing so bad in that area.
"Ok." He murmured, brushing off his clothing. He decided that the best part of being a snowy owl was that he could still wear all his cute shorts and t-shirts even in the cooler weather. Was nice since he didn't even notice the change in air, to him it was still nice out.

Flying... Revon wasn't too thrilled with the idea when Haruki had stated they'd be going to a class for it that day. He still remembered the verion of flight that his brother had sort of... forced on him.(Recall the first metaplot) Of course, that had to be the only form a flight, but it was more than a little scary. So he wasn't exactly looking forward to learning ow to do it.
Haruki of course, wasn't willing to take no for an answer and had started out just dragging the dejected looking bird along.Enough looking pathetic had worked, somewhat, and it ended up with Revon no longer needing to drag his feet. He'd gotten a piggyback wride instead. Which was good, at least he could bury his face in something until they got there, pretend he wasn't going to something that couldn't end well.
Flying and meeting new people was definitely not something he was looking forward to.
Up ahead Haruki could see the teacher and... another bird. Well at least this was the right spot. He'd get Revon off of his back soon. That'd solve the problem of worrying if Revon was going to end up choking him on accident due to being nervous. Well, at least they where there. "Alright, time to get down and learn."
Revon peeked up from where he'd stuffed his face at the command. Before him was another red-head and a bird. Like him. Were they a good or bad bird was the question? He didn't really want to find out, he'd still rather be back home in his room. Not meeting new people who'd likely hate him and learning how to fly. Still, as Haruki knelt down to have him slie to the ground he didn't have a choice and did as he'd been told. Upon hitting the ground he readjusted his wings, which were to be what he learned to use today, and continued to watch the new people from the safety of hiding half behind his guardian. It was a safer spot than anywhere else at the moment.
"We're here for his class." As if that wasn't obvious, but it was best to make sure they realized Revon was a boy. The pink outfit sometimes confused people.

Ligeia looked over as the new student came over and he gave a squeak, taking a step back. Ah! The bitey bird was back again? Didn't he already have a flying class and learn how to do it well enough he thought to himself a little panicked. He took a step back closer to Vorel hoping that the dragon would protect him against further assaults.
Orpheus looked down at the boy then up at the adult with him, and checked over his schedule really fast, "Ahh... Revon?" He asked, hesitant to put the wrong name forward but had to confirm if this were the student he was waiting for. He didn't have the same disposition or the dress as the first raven he had in class so maybe it wasn't the same kid? He looked over to Ligeia then back.
Yeah, he hoped that it was a new student or there would be no help forthcoming a second time from his son. Ligeia had no desire to be gnawed on again.

The way the other child reacted to seeing Revon... Haruki could only deduce one thing. Especially after the hestitant way the other teacher had asked the name. "Yes, his name is Revon. You've met Keivlos, haven't you?" He asked bluntly.
Revon seemed to perk up slightly at the mention of his brother, even if he knew that the other raven wasn't there. "L-lo?" He glanced in the directionof the pale spotted bird cluelessly, not seeming to realize why he might have been afraid. Keivlos wasn't the bad one.
"Keivlos is Revon's twin brother." The red-head glanced at the other bird before back at the teacher. "Revon is far better behaved than his brother." Not only because Haruki wouldn't put up with Revon acting anything like his brother, but because the boy was just a lot more timid. "Your biggest problem will be getting him to talk." Because he could only imagine what Keivlos must have done in a class.

Orpheus nodded, "We had a class not that long ago and it was an interesting time." He said, looking over to Revon, "Its good to meet you."
Ligiea seemed to relax at that, good not the bitey bird. So he looked over to Revon and gave him a wave, "Hello." He greeted him. He walked over closer to his father then.
"Revon this is my son Ligeia, he will be helping you out with your flying today." He told the other bird, "He will be with you, holding your hand until your confindent enough to try the flying on your own."

Revon stared at the two people who had greeted him silently, glancing up at his guardian again as once more flying was mentioned. Even if his brother had done the class he didn't want to fly again. Not like before. Still, even if he didn't want to be here, he couldn't be bad. Rude was bad, and not saying hello when someone said it was rude. "H-hello." He obviously wasn't the most eager person to run over and thank the other bird who'd be helping him learn. He didn't want to learn to fly if it meant falling out of trees.
Haruki nodded briefly at the greeting before lightly patting the dark skinned boy on the head. "Alright, I have work to do. I'll be back to pick you up after the class." It wouldn't do to have Revon try to learn while clinging to him and he'd been spending enough time outdoors lately. "Behave, and do as the teacher says." He added, before nodding at Orpheus as a farewell and turning to head back for the building.
Revon wasn't the least bit pleased about being abandoned with new people who wanted to shove him out of trees, but he'd been fashioned into something that did as he was told. Between his brother's demands and Haruki being strict, he knew better than to disobey. So after casting a glance in the direction of his retreating guardian he turned his attention on the two. "A-al... ok..." He gave up on the longer word, seeing as proper vocabulary didn't work really well around new people.
Time to learn to fly... If his brother could do it, he had to learn too anyway.

Ligeia watched the other adult as he left before walking over to Revon and held his hands out to him, "If your ready then we can go up into the air." He told him, hoping that this would go better then the last time he'd brought someone up flying. Well... Revon didn't seem like the biting type so he was sure he was safe. And the little raven was... cute! Quiet yes, but cute.
Orpheus stepped back so that he wouldn't be in the way, "Once your up in the air just matched your the flapping of your wings to Ligeia's so that you two will stay even and not throw each other off." He instructed them.

Yes, Revon wasn't much the biting type. He was quite the opposite of his brother in every way. Aside from physical appearance anyway. His brother likely had leapt at the idea of flying. Had been overjoyed with it. Revon however, was having a bit harder time wrapping his head around the fact that they where going to not be falling. Ligeia's term of putting it as 'up' registered to mean climbing a tree, or something of the sort. Go up so you can go down. Still, he'd been told to behave, and that meant trying at least. "A-alright." He managed to say quietly, taking one of the other boy's outstretched hands.
He looked at Orpheus as he said something about matching flapping so not to throw each other off? He wasn't one-hundred percent sure what that was about, but chances where he'd be learning that son enough. If it made the falling part less falling than usual it'd be good to know.

Ligeia gave him a smile as he took Revon's other hand as well, opened up wings to give them a flutter, "Here we go." He said, then pushed off of the ground, flapping them up into the air a good five feet up in the air. Not to far so in cause they had to land for any reason. That and to let the smaller bird get used to being up in the air.
Once they were up he looked to Revon, "Try flapping your wings." He said, "Get used to how it feels to be up in the air." He wouldn't let him go until Revon was ready to do the flying on his own, he didn't want him to fall and get hurt.

'Here we go.' But didn't they have to get in a tree first for tha- the question was cut off in the boy's head as the other child kicked up off the ground and drug him a few feet into the air as well. As son as his feet left solid ground he was quickly kicking as if trying to find it again. That succeeded in one thing, him losing one of the pink sandles he'd been wearing, which went flying to land on the ground. He'd have to retrieve that later.
Theboy only calmed down a bit when he realized he wasn't going to fall, and obviously he wasn't falling at the moment. That came at about the time he heard them telling him to flap his wings to get used to being in the air. Well he'd been flailing his wings, so it was only a little different to try flapping them. It didn't seem too bad either, if anything it made his arms feel less like they where being pulled on.
So maybe that was the trick to this whole flying thing?

"Good job." Ligeia said, this was going alright so far, their paces were matched fairly well too so they weren't that wobbly either, "Tell me if you want to go higher and we will, only when you think that your ready for it though." He said his wings flapping easily to keep them steady.

It took Revon a bit more flapping to start to get an idea of how this worked. There didn't appear to be much falling involved in it either. Something he was quite pleased to realize. As long as he kept flapping his wings right he wouldn't end up on the ground again. That seemed to be the idea of it.
The praise he recieved drew a timid smile on the still unsteady bird's features as he continued to try and match wing beats better. They had said to do that now that he recalled. "Ah-k-kay." He managed quietly, accidentally missing a beat because he'd been busy forcing himself to speak clearly. Even if they where being nice to him, he didn't know the people. Still, if he was good at this maybe they'd like him. Being good at anything had to be... well good. At least that's what he assumed. "W-we can t-try h-high-er..." He couldn't be afraid to go up a bit more. He'd just... get used to it. And not fall.
Definitely no falling.

"Alright, here we go." He said, wanting for him to have warning before he gave larger flaps of his wings to bring him up farther into the air. About ten feet up in the air this time, still not to far a drop in case anything went wrong but he hoped that nothing did. Especially when they were doing so well thus far.
"Alright, when your ready Revon let go of one of Ligeia's hands. He will still have you but you will be doing some of the work yourself." Orpheus called up to him, he moved closer so in case in the attempts the raven fell, he would be able to catch him then.

The warning didn't help much with the sudden bought of going higher. Revon might have expected it, but it was still a new experience to leave the ground behind. It really wasn't high enough to do any damage, nothing like the drop at the canyon, but it was hard to get used to none the less.
Though it didn't take as long to get used to as the origional idea of being in the air and just... sort of hovering there. It wasn't too long before the boy drew up the courage to let go of one hand and as greeted with suddenly drooping down a bit. Something he tried to fix by flapping his wings more, and succeeded in somewhat. At least... at least he wasn't falling.

"Your doing really well Revon. It took me forever to get as good as what your doing now." Then again Ligeia had also taken it upon himself to learn the flying thing himself since he didn't fully learn it in his first flying class. He made sure his grip on Revon's remaining hand was a good one before asking, "Want to start doing more then just flying place? Its actually a little harder then moving around." In his opinion, more control involved to just stay in place and a lot more flapping.
