Name : Aoiko Meaning : Aoi - Blue, Ko - Small Race : Shaolin Wolf Sex : Male Rank : Adult Gamma Pack : Selia and Devvyl's Mate : None Apparance : Mostly midnight blue, with gray on his back and on the tip of his tail, and black "stripes" on his face, yellow eyes. Personality : Aoiko is a gentle and caring wolf, mature enough to know what his place is. He seems fo finally have gotten over his father's action against him, and thinks he might stand a chance if he was attacked, now. He likes to help others and see that his presence is either needed or appreciated, even at the smallest level. The shyness he had as a pup is still apparent, but is much less a proheminent part of his personality, as he knows when to step up and when to stay quiet. He cares alot for his friends and will do anything he could logically do to attempt to help or cheer one up. He doesn't really like to see anyone sad.

Aoiko is the first of a litter of 3 pups, all males, to be born from the alpha pair of a far away pack. His mother, Amarah, had been a lone integrated to the pack, and had a spendid gray coat, with some black there and here. His father was Takairo, a male with pure midnight blue fur. He had previously been the beta of that pack, but had became alpha when the previous leader died. Takairo, was a very proud wolf, who dominated his pack with an iron paw, and mostly by fear ratter than leadership and organisation. He couldn't accept that someone would replace him, even less one of his own sons, who where all too "soft" for his tastes to be a true worthy sucessor. Amarah, however, loved her sons dearly, and did her best to show them the compation and gentleness that their father wouldn't show them, even trough she felt no love for him, as he had forced her to become his. However, her children where her life. One day trough Takairo's obcession that he would not be replaced by one of those "weaklings" drove him to attempt to kill his own sons. One died, but Amarah was able to lead Aoiko and his other brother out of the territory, gave them a last lick, and sent them off in the wild, knowing it was probabely thier only chance to survive, and went back to her fate and was outcasted from the pack, once again becoming lone, trough she was to the point that she considered that better than being there, and searched yet again another pack. Aoiko and his brother stuck together for some time, but they once accidently went too close to an human encampment - and got separated in the process. He searched for his brother, but it was all in vain as he got even more lost in the process... Recently, Aoiko found a small gathering of wolves, and hopes to be allowed to stay there - it is the closest place to "home" he had managed to find.

Self appointed adoptive mommy. Trough sometimes he is the one to scold her and not the other way around ( xd ). Aoiko considers her the closest he has to a mother now as his own is missing, and accepts his spot of adoptive pup easely, trough sometimes he thinks he puts her trough more trouble than he is worth, but he will follow her until she tells him to leave, and tries his best to protect her in his own way. Friend of Soul's, so he easely accepts her presence, and gives her the respect she deserves as an alpha. He can see how she derseved her place and thus has deep respect for her for caring about her pack and the life of her adopted children, thing his father had never done to him. She is extremely kind to those not even in her pack, even, thus he will attempt to do the same for her. Only met once, but friendship seemed to hit by ratter fast in between the two. He hopes he will be okay the comming winter, and that he'll see him again soon.

Aoiko Behind a tree, something blue, silver, and black unfurled. Aoiko had probabely felt asleep there some time ago, as the young pup yawned and stretched his sleepy limbs. He did not seem to notice anyone else was around until some time, them he wondered weither he should go to them or not - he still did not knew if he was welcome here, afterall... Soul soul sat up. her eyes opening widly as she moved about to stand her ears flicked back as she listed to the faint sounds of the bustling winds. with her tail erected, she moved about the woods, inhaleing scents of others near by. Aoiko The blue pup sent a glance at Soul, his ears wriggeling, her sent familiar to him. It was the wolf from the bear... The tought that there was at least someonre he somewhat knew around seemed to be enough to calm him down sightly, as he went to find some water. He'lld try his luck catching a rodent later, probabely... He was still a little sleepy for that. Soul soul's ears flicked fowards as she moved towards the pup she remembered. she apeared near him, her tail wagging in a friendly motion, her maw open panting. "hello there Aoiko!" Elphaba Elphaba rose herself to all fours, gicing her long coat a shake. She padded off towards the woods protectively, the scent of approaching wolf in her nostrils. With a little more investigation though, it was clear the smells were vaguely familiar. There was Soul, and there was one of the pups she'd encountered when she'd met the brown male. She trotted over leisurely to rendezvous. Aoiko "Hello, uh..." He blinked. "...Soul, was it ? Sorry, im a little bad with names." He gives a smile - well, the closest a wolf can manage to a smile at least. "Nice to see you again - and thank you." Soul souls head nods quickly as the faint scent of Elphaba came to her nose. she licked her maw then shook her pelt. she sat on her haunches, waiting for the other wolfs arrival. Elphaba She made her way through the brush, her large form emerging near the other two. "Hello, Soul," She said with a friendly bark to the older wolf, and then a softer wuff of greeting to the younger one. She hadn't caught his name. Aoiko Aoiko sat as well, then nodded in respect as the arrival of the other wolf, one he did not know yet, but Soul seemed to know her... "Hello, miss..." He said, visibely growing a little shy. "My name is Aoiko...." Neka Not too far away, the brown mass of fur known as Neka was lounging in the leaves, picking boredly at the fur between the pads of a forepaw. He'd just eaten a rather decent sized meal, thus was very content to laze about until he didn't feel quite so full. Elphaba Elphaba gave a tiny wry smile, appreciating his respectful nod. Any show of rank was reassuring to her. She chuckled to herself. "My name's Elphaba, but you can call me Elphie," She said, a bit loftily, granting him her nickname. She was known to be a proud wolf, and sometimes it was almost humorous. Hawk Hawk pops his head out of some bushes, tongue lolling out of his mouth, ears flicking this way and that as excitedly, he looks about the forest. Was there anyone his size that he could play with? He wasn't sure, but he was in a mood! Aoiko "Pleased to meet you as well." Aoiko answered. There was starting to be more and more wolves... He still had no idea if there was an alpha of any sort, or... anyone he could ask what he wanted to ask. His ear perked and wriggeled as he sniffed the air... One of those sent was familiar - Neka. The other was not. Elphaba Elphie switched her footing quickly, turning towards the rustle. It was another pup. These woods certainly were full of them. On another occasion the little wolves might have irritated Elphaba, but today she was happy to be distracted. They were rather cute, too, she had to admit. There was another adult's scent on the air and Elphie recognized it as the foreigner, Neka. She turned toward the scent and sat down, curling her tail about her haunch; considering approaching him. She cast another glance to Soul. The female had been with her the last time she'd seen the lone wolf too. Funny how that seemed to happen around here. Rising once more, she decided to investigate Neka's scent. That blue pup had been there last time as well, perhaps he would want to visit the male as well. Neka Neka finished with his grooming and rolled onto his side, snorting heavily into the leaf litter as the crisp bits of plantlife brushed his nose, and listened to the surroundings. The longer he stayed here, the more he liked it, but the fact his brother hadn't returned bothered him somewhat. Well, it wasn't like Neka saw the purple wolf much anyway, considering Notoka had been gone from the home pack for so long anyway. Soul soul grinned to Elphie. her ears pricked. she knew also the last time they met, they both met Neka as well. her tail swished slightly as she sat. Aoiko Aoiko stayed there for a moment, then finally decided to follow, hoping Elphie wouldn't mind, and catching Hawk from the corner of his vision - another pup ! He was starting to think that him and the other one from the bear where the only ones around. Pups on their own where a rare thing as far as he knew. Hawk Upon investigation, the brown puppy spots another one! Joyous day! Someone to play with! Like any rambunctious little youngster he bounds up to the puppy, quickly, disregarding all the adults around. With a loud yelling he makes a pounce at the other one to try and tackle him to ensue a rough little game of play fighting. Soul souls nose twitched with the scent of Neka and Hawk. her toung lolled out as she sniffed the ground carefully. her paws moved about the ground, her head low to the ground sniffing. her tail curling up into an arch. Elphaba Elphaba didn't mind the pup at her heels at all, though she didn't especially acknowledge him, not being skilled with pups past greetings. After an awkward moment she made a vague attempt. "Now your name..Aoiki-Aoiko, was it?" After a brief walk, the pair reached Neka's clearing. "'Lo again," She hailed him, coming to a stop with her tail swishing in a half wag of greeting towards the other brown wolf. "Find your brother yet?" Aoiko "Ye-" POUNCE. Aoiko let out a yelp as the other pup suddently pounced on him, rolling over in the bed of fallen leaves that fall had brought, in a tussle. Children, no matter how polite and mature they could be at times, shall still be children is seemed, as the second he managed to get back on his paws, it was to pounce the other pup right back, letting out a small bark at the same time. It had been some time since he had played with another pup ! All sence of maturity lost for the time being, he gladly played along. Neka Neka's head slid across the ground as he moved it so he could see Elphaba and the other wolves with her, then yawned lazily as he lifted his head, which now had leaves stuck to it. "Neh. 'is scent's not tah new 'round 'ere either. Still missin', I guess," he said slowly, eyes moving from each wolf in turn. Soul soul walked steadily up to were the rest were. her nose sniffing wildly. she then spoted Neka, and barked to him. "eh, well then. thats quite odd. i would have thought he would return?" her tail slowed to a slight wag as she peered to Neka, showing many characteristics of Isaac. Hige Hige flopped down in the den on his stomach, staring at the farthest wall with half lidded eyes. He'd had a good time playing with Kahlaria, he hoped that she and her brother would decide to stay, and they could learn to all get along. Kahl was the kind of wolf that he'd like to stay friends with. His stomach started to protest, loud enough for him to hear. His ears flattened- when was the last time he ate? It had to be at least a week!! He stuck his head back out of the den at Selia, looking up at her with a light wuff. "Mom can we get something to eat?" Elphaba Elphaba, as if affected by Neka's lazy manner, plopped down on her haunches and let out a squeak of a canine yawn, her purplish tongue curling. "Mmm. You don't think his pack has left the woods yet..?" She cocked her ears, thinking back to the one time she'd seen the purple and tan colored male. She'd thought him an Alpha even then, so he must have had a following. Perhaps, she wondered, they'd already moved on. Hawk Grrs loudly as the pup pounces back at him, falling backwards with him atop. Tail wags furiously as he makes a grab for one of the puppy's ears, giving it a jerk should he succeed while pushing paws up against his stomach to try and push him off at the same time. If he does, he'd release the ear, barking at him, as loud as he could, panting but doesn't go after him. If not, he lays there, wrestling with the other one for freedom. Soul soul shrugged. "all i know, is he left, with two other females. Silva and lera." she nods then spoke again "then, another. Isaac, followed...." she looked over to Neka once more. he acted much like him at this moment. she shruged once more. "but that is all i know of them. they went off, and i havn't seen them since. . . " Neka Neka's brow rose slowly, at a steady pace, as Elphie spoke. Notoka...an ALPHA? "I'd never pick meh brother as a leader," he said with a slight snorting laugh, ears pricking at the thought of his once gangly and socially-inept brother being an alpha of anything. "Eh...things change though." Aoiko The sight of the two pups rolling into the leaves, growling and yelping, was probabely somewhat funny - expecially with Aoiko's previous behavour before he was pounced. The two continued for a while until they finally separated, the midnight blue wolf panting sightly. "That was fun ! Who are you ?" Soul soul spoke to Neka once more "...Yes, i do see Notoka being alpha. many characteristics of one he has." a sheepish grin on her face "yet...i would never fall under his lead....." her ears flattening a little. she never really knew why, but she never wished to follow Notoka's lead. it wasn't a matter of jelousy, of how some other female would be alpha, and she wouldn't. more, she just felt as though, he wasn't fit for her. ((XD)) Elphaba Elphie rose her own brow in playful skeptacism as if to ask 'Really?'. "Guess I saw him after things changed. She nodded in response to Soul. Even when I was a pup I assumed he was a leader," The wolf gave a soft snort of laughter. When she was a pup she'd also assumed he was the ruler of the entire wood for a while, but she kept that to herself. "Will you join under him, then?" She asked with curiosity, twitching an ear. Hawk When it had finally come to an end, he struggles up to his feet, panting himself. His ears up, tail as well, and despite being a little worn out now from the tumble, he's still rather excited. Tail wags from side to side, blinking his head and closing his mouth -- after dragging his tongue back into it -- as he looks at him. "I'm Hawk!" A few moments. "...Who're you?" Neka Neka's amusement turned to that of thoughtful pondering. "Eh dunno. Maybe, maybe not," said the male nonchalantly as he stretched his forelegs out, flexing the digits of each paw. "Eh dunno if we'd still get along." Soul soul cocked a brow as she pawed at the ground. her tail stoping to curl around her haunches. her eyes wander to Elphie's as she speaks to her "Will you follow him as well?" her toung lolling out. Aoiko "Aoiko." Again, that same wolf-smile. "Glad to see you ! Its nice to be around others after being alone for some time..." Elphaba "Heh," Elphie tried to laugh, but it came out as a low pitched word. "I know how that is," She shifted her weight uncomfortably, her thoughts wandering back to the conflict of Faenaro and his sister. Though she had nothing against Kahlaria, she was simple not at ease with either joining. There were too many alliances. "We're having troubles with our pack right now," Hawk "Yes," he responds with a nod of his head though he hadn't really been alone. He had Miakoda to keep him company and she always had been so nice to him, especially for a human. "Where do you come from?" Neka Neka looked vaguely interested at the mention of packs, resuming an expression of polite curiousity that sat rather well on his features, which were slightly more streamlined than his brother. "Yeh got a pack?" Selia She'd look to her son, blinking and giving a soft laugh. "Of course," she replied and licked his forehead, glancing around momentarily. Getting up out of the den once again, she'd toss her head back in an echoing howl--calling for Elphaba, whose scent was close by. After she had run out of breath, her head dropped, and she listened carefully for a response...Nothing yet. Blinking a few times, she'd lower to sit upon her haunches. Hm, if Elphie came, they could get deer for the three of them. If not, she'd just get a rabbit for the pup and be content with that. Aoiko "From..." He blinked, turning around in circles as if trying to spot something. He finally setteled to a direction after a few turns. "Here." He said. "Really really far away from that direction." Soul soul moved back a little. her tail twitching slightly, as she stood. her eyes darting back and forth between Elphie and Neka, and their conversation. her thoughts raced as she remembered how she was supposed to be in a pack. but, we all seperated, and tam and herself....just didn't seem possible. although close friends, they bothed wanted the same thing, leadership. she sat, quite oddly, as her weight shifted from side to side. Elphaba "I'm under Devvyl and Selia," Elphie said, pronouncing her friends' names with pride. She doubted Neka had been in the woods long enough to meet them, but you never knew around here. "This..male wants to join. He's very proud and keeps picking fights with the Alpha," Elphie rumbled the last few words, then realized she was once again letting her voice be affected by her thoughts. She offered a wolfish grin of apology. Selia's howl pierced the wood and Elphaba's ears canted towards the familiar sound. "In fact, thats Selia right now." She turned her muzzle towards Soul and then back to Neka "Don't suppose either of you are up for a hunt..?" Hawk Tilts his head moreso, much like a bird amusingly enough, to watch as his newfound friend begins to turn around continuously. His head rolls somewhat in the same direction, following it before he gets a little too dizzy, forcing himself to sit down. A shake of his skull is then quick to be followed by a nod and a "Oooooh" sound. Neka Neka's ears twitched at the howl, noting it's unfamiliarity. "Eh just ate, but I dun mind 'elping," he said with a shrug as he pulled himself to his paws. Aoiko Hawk's reaction was amusing. "So, where are you from, Hawk ?" He blinked, ears twitching as he overheard. Selia and Devvyl ? Where those the alphas ? Maybe... Haku He would sniff the ground near the river. Once he had heard that howl.. it sounded like a more mature Selia. Was his sister really still alive? After all he had done to save her, he sure hoped so. Her howl was rather faint, for he was deaf in one hear. "Selia...?" Tearing off as fast as he could toward the howl he would see her. It was her! Moving close, he would tackled her. "Selia!" Soul soul looked to Elphie, then looked down "i'm not sure." she looked out towards were the howl was, then a grumble from her stomache was heard. she quickly moved towards Elphie " i dont think it will hurt much" a grin appeared on her features as she stood up. Hawk Hawk himself takes a moment to look around but doesn't do a full turn like Aoiko had done. His nose tilts up into the air to sniff at it, obviously picking out a certain scent or searching for it anyhow. He furrows his brows when discovering he can't find it, taking a slower glance about the woods before he turns around now this time, pointing in some random direction. "There!" Selia She'd flick her ear to the side, hearing footsteps coming toward her in a rabid pace..Elphie? No, male scent. Devvyl? Nope, not his scent. She turned her head just in time to see him--slam right into her. She let out a yowl, making sure she didn't land atop her pup. "Who the hell are--GET OFF!" She snapped, rolling onto her back and kicking her hind legs around his waist. She froze, hearing him say her name...Did...did this male know her? She stared up at his pale golden-orange irises, blinking slowly..."Who are you.." Elphaba "Very good!" Elphie said with a flourish. "We could use some practice with formations," She rose to all fours for a brief stretch. She was eager to hunt, to let out her frustrations on a preybeast. She was due for a meal as well. She was vaguely worried about what prey the would find. Many of the whitetail deer she was used to had left the area on the heels of autumn. "Have you noticed any herd lately," She asked the pair absently, trying to determine where Selia's howl had come from. Aoiko Aoiko padded beside his new friend, sitting there. "Looks nice." He said, tilting his head sightly. Haku He froze instantly, after hearing that she didn't remember him. "Huh...? Selia, how can you not remember your own brother?" His deaf ear twitched as he looked her over. "You've grown since I left you here." With a smirk of pride, he'd look at the pup beneath her. "You have a mate and pups already?" Sniffing her a bit, he'd sit down next to her. Soul Souls nose twitched as she listened to the sounds. the faint sounds of rustles could be heard. she wasn't sure who Selia was. she possibly had met her before, but no memory of it. her ears swivled back as she looked out. her nose pointed in the direction in which she thought the howl had come. "that way" she then listened about. "havn't been out of the woods lately, haven't eaten lately, i wouldn't know what is out there except for what i remember. which was Deer." her nose twitched once more as she began to move out, towards Selia, her ears alert, her eyes fowards. she wasn't quite attentive to see if the others were following. she just continued to go, sniffing other wolfs now. Selia "I-I...what? Brother..." She lowered her ears and rolled over, placing Hige between her front paws warily...she didn't quite--She blinked, his scent was familiar.."H-Haku.." She lowered her ears to her skull. Vaguely, she remembered him. He was older than her--but...the last she remembered of him was before they were attacked, and their pack killed. "I thought you were dead.." Her eyes glazed over a bit...well, now, if only wolves could shed tears. She looked down to Hige, maw slightly opened in pure shock...She still had family, they weren't all destroyed.."How'd you escape.." Elphaba After the trio had edured a brief jog, they came upon the other female. "This is my Alpha," Elphie said grandly. Though Selia was a modest wolf, Elphie felt it was best to announce her with respect. No sooner had Elphie introduced her friend to the other two than an orange and black male had barreled out of the trees, tackling Selia. Elphaba took an involuntary step backwards, firing off a snarl in her surprise. Selia and the male untangled, and he spoke her friend name. Now Selia was looking at him in confusion. Elphie was confused herself, who was this wolf? Aah okay--He was Selia's brother. Hawk "It is! Especially Miakoda! She's so nice to me!" He sounds rather excited as he starts talking about the human, tail wagging around as he stares off in that direction with star struck eyes. Haku He looked at her, nodding his head slightly when she said his name. "Hai..." If only they could... even though he'd never show the saddened emotion. "When they hit you... they blew out my left ear drum.." He flicked his ear as they spoke. "I saw you were hurt, so I bit at his ankle. He kicked me backwards into a tree. After I snapped at him, I picked you up and brought you here. I thought that the humans were after us again, so I went back to distract them for getting my baby sister..." Neka Neka followed sedately, his pace leisurely as he wasn't in a hurry to go anywhere. Upon coming across Selia, he nodded politely, but he was not going to show her anything other than that. She wasn't his alpha. Soul Souls ears flattened to hear "alpha" yet she barked a greeting. she then was starttled by the males entrance and quickly glared at him. not wanting to jump to conculsions. her tail stoped as she listend to their conversation. "brother.." she said softly, as though missing her only brother she had. the only family she had till he vanished after the attack. leaving her alone...she shook her head, and watched the two. Aoiko "Miakoda ?" He asked, blinking. "Who's that ?" Elphaba Elphaba, still mildly out of sorts, attempted to regain her composure as she approached her friend. She nodded to the stranger, put a bit more at ease now that she knew he was Selia's blood. She could smell it too now, the faint smell of relatives. She greeted Selia with a nudge of her muzzle to the female's shoulder. "This is Neka and Soul, they've been kind enough to agree to help us with our hunt," Selia She looked up to see Elphie, who had snarled towards her brother--though, she had as well, not having know what the hell was going on. Eyeing Neka and Soul after a moment, she'd shudder, and look back towards Haku. "Humans attacked?" She questioned, not really remembering what had attacked them. She felt her body quiver a bit, slightly startled from the sudden coming of her long-lost family member. "Why...didn't you come back? It's been too long, how could you have found me now?" She felt the nudge, as well, she'd turn her head blindly to look to her friend..Her Beta.."A-ah, yeah, okay..." She was, a tad bit too shocked to think straight at this moment...Selia looked back to her brother, "Would you....like to join us?" Aoiko Aoiko got up then... He was starting to be really hungry. "Ill see you later, Hawk." He "smilled", then dissapaired in the forest in search of a small prey.

In all truth, I cannot live like this much longer, I feel. I"ve gotten somwehat lucky with food, but I doubt I will be forever, but instead, it is this sillence that is deafening... the coldness of the woods. If I am still on my own this winter, I doubt I will survive. I miss mom... I miss my old pack. But not my father... not after what he've done. I don't even know if my little brother is alive now... And as much as it saddens me, I cannot do much about it right now. Mom did always say I acted too old for my age... but this is how I was raised. I need to... join a pack. I have, visibely, found one. All I need to do is ask and hope. But, how can I ? How can I somehow be an asset to this pack - I am a pup afterall, and never pretended I was anything else even if my outlook seems more mature at times as my mother said. I doubt being able to catch mice by sheer luck is going to be consitued as an asset. Or maybe im simpely looking too deep into things...

Soul souls ears flick back once more as she begins to move on. her tail swishing side to side, as her nose pressed against the morning soil. the fog that floated about seemed to be ghosts that sheilded the ground. the dew apoun the grass was still moist, and dampened up her maw. her eyes peered up above the white clouds, as she looked on, smelling Aoiko near. her nose flared as she lifted her head up to the sky, and let out a haunting howl. it rang threw her ears, but she listened, to see if a responce was heard. Aoiko Aoiko, himself, was by the river, staring at the water... or moreso at the fishes smimming in it. He was hungry... and well... He had seen his mom fish before. It couldn't be that hard, right ? The pup croutched, ready... Then have a swipe of a paw, thereby missing his intended target and... falling head first in the river. This would be harder that he tought... Suddently, however, a howl resonated trough the forest, and to his ears, that twitched a little upon hearing. The fact that Soul's sent was nearby meant that it was probabely her, so the pup let out his own, less loud howl. Soul souls ears pricked up, as her tail began to wag. she let out small barks, indecating her fast pace in coming to him. soon she spoted his blue pelt of the pup. her tail stopped its wagging as she moved up to him, her head in an arched position. she quickly took a seat next to him and spoke to him in a friendly mannor. "What are you tring to do?" Aoiko "I was trying to fish..." He admited. "...Trying being the keyword..." Aoiko proceeded to roll himself in the leaves in an attempt to at least dry his fur a little. "Its... a little harder than I tought." Soul souls features quickly changed, as a grin appeared. "would you like some help" souls maw opened as she stood, her tail erect, and her ears listening to near by things. her eyes switched from Aoiko to the fish. she then simply said "although, you will get wet again..." she let out a sort of giggle, as her nose touched the water carefully, testing its tempature. Aoiko "Well, good thing im allready wet then." He smiled, padding over next to her. "Sure, ill'd like some help... Thank you." Soul souls face again showed a grin as she moved towards the water, steping into it slowly, then planting her feet into its gravle. "First" she whispered "you have to come into the water, and stay still. let the fish feel safe around your paws. " she didn't move an inch, and soon, the fish were swimming about her legs as though they were pillars in the water. she then spoke once more "Then, you must find the biggest fish in the creek, watch it carefully, and allow it to also come close. then," she froze "then, you quickly move fowards and grab..." she stoped, for her muzzle was now under the shallow water snapping at something. she soon brought it up, and out came the fish, wiggling and twitching in her mouth. her face turned into a slightly visable smile, as she moved out of the water and shook her fur. "although, there are many ways that are easier, and quicker, this for me is most effective." she then stepped on the fish, and quickly it stoped flopping about. "if you need to kill the fish so it doesn't get away, just step on it with all your weight. just dont squish it." her maw opened as she picked up the fish and moved towards Aoiko. "Now, you try." Aoiko Aoiko was still as he listened, then finally he nodded and stepped into the water, finally stopping and standing still, his eyes locked on the water below. Soon enough some fishes came and swam past him as if he wasn't there at all, not realising the yellow eyes that watched over them, as the pup choose his prey, a fish not too big yet not too small either, knowing he probabely would have too much problems with a bigger one. His eyes followed his choosen salmon as it was far away... then swam torward him, unnoticing of the wolf's presence. He perked sightly, getting ready... The fish came closer... Closer... SPWING. The pup was in motion, but missed the salmon by a teeth, losing grip over the wet fish and it began to swim off, alarmed by the sudden attack, trough weakened by the wound Aoiko had left to it. Throwing all sence of suptile hiding trough the window, it became a wild chase, Aoiko managing to get close enough again as he lunched, and slipped again, resulting into a wet pup... with a fish trapped in his jaw, and a "WTF DID I CATCH IT ?!?" look on his face. Sutch a good student. Soul souls ears flicked back as she continued to devour the large salmon. "Interesting." she said simply, and grinned to him "very interesting technique, yet, you did catch the fish.." she nodded then stood, licking the bones of the fish once more, then moved to the pup, examining the fish he caught. in her mind she spoke "nicely plumped fish, large enough to be caught by a pup. possibly larger then what a normal puppy could catch. he's an excellent hunter, although clumbsy." Aoiko While Aoiko wasn't sure if that "interesting" was a good or a bad thing, the one thing more important in his mind was that he've actually caught the damn thing, visibely beaming with pride as he rejoined Soul on the riverside and began to eat his well-deserved fish. Carmen *Peering through a nearbye bush the Skeletal wolf watches with ammusement. The younger pup seemed to be trying to learn some new tricks. While... the older one near the pup seemed.. familiar. Though she didnt reconize her because she has never seen her from a back view. Snickering to herself in the bushes she watches on with the same ammusement with her cold pale green eyes.* Soul Soul let out a little grunt, as she moved back into the water. obviously that fish was not enough to suite her fancy. so she moved back into the water but spoke quietly "Aoiko, that fish was quite a catch you to there." her eyes scanning the water "i think you will be a great hunter" her maw dived into the water, and was about to catch a fish, but missed it by alot, so she continued her hunting. then her nose flared, as her ears flicked back. a low, growl was heard from her throut, as she moved back out of the water, and looked on to the trees behind them. her teeth were bareing now, and her tail curled up. Aoiko Swallowing, the pup blinked. "You really think so ?" Oh god, he was flustering. "Well, I hope you're right." He smilled, returning to his fish... But then the air brought him a sent... The sent of a wolf, trough he could not tell who. There was someone else there ? He blinked again, taking another mouthful of fish as he tried to spot where the other wolf was. Carmen *Laughing into the air the red endowed wolf does a smirk as the older wolf goes on the offensive* So.. its you.. *Standing up the skeltal wolf decides to show herself. Walking out of the bushes she looks down at the others, her apperiance usually struck fear into the hearts of her victims. Her fur being red and black with her skeletal showing on her fur, she watched and waited. As the female goes on the offensive once again, Carmen dug her claws into the ground, incase anyone was trying something against her, she was ready.* Soul Soul glared at the other wolf, and she let out a loud, odd bark. "What do you want." she wasn't scared. atleast, not alot. her tail still curled and her ears flicked agains't her skull, she moved beside Aoiko. her maw open and her neck fur bristling. she didnt' appriciate, this other wolf looking down at her, she felt like snapping, but didn't. if this wolf WAS a threat, she would know and then attack. Aoiko ...Well, that one was a little scary. Aoiko seemed to pad closer to Soul by pure instict, not forgetting his fish of course, sending the older wolf a look that basicly asked "Do you know her ?". He wasn't outward scared of the bone-like wolf, he was simpely acting like he did with most of the wolves he did now know, and he doesn't seem to know what to do. Carmen want? what 'is' their 'to' want.. all i do is watch.. and wander in the shadows.* Feeling like she said too much already Carmen returned to her silent stance. As the adult wolf went over to the pup and visa versa.. she tilted her head and said smugly* You think im going to attack a pup?? How low do you think i am?? *Once again the skeletal wolf went back to her normal quiet gaze, returning to digging her claws into the muddy water ridden shorline.* Soul "How would i know what you would do." a growl was forced out of her once more as she spoke. "I wouldn't know what you would do" her tail twitched with irritation as she glared to the wolf. she didn't belive that this wolf was safe to be around. Aoiko ...Well, that was charming, he tought. The tension could be cut with a knife at the moment, and he didn't add to it, simpely reminding sillent, finishing his fish, and remaining alert, praying that a fight wouldn't break out... This was the last thing he wanted to be caught into, and most importantly, he didn't want Soul to get hurt. Soul Soul loked down to Aoiko. her eyes watching him eat, then watching the other female. her teeth clicked as she watched her. Carmen Im hurt.. * The smug look turned into a deep cackaling laugh. The skeletal femme stood up from her place, her tail was now upright as she glared at the two.* To be honest i dont know what i would do. But i do know this, i do have some pride and i would never attack a pup or youngin. *Blinking her heartless eyes she sends a petrifying glace around.* But ones of the same age as me.. thats a different story. Aoiko Was this wolf just trying to rill Soul up, or was it just his imagination ? At any rate, he again sent Soul a gaze, as if asking her to just let he be unless she tried to attack, trough he seemed to get ready to dash in between the two to stop any imminent confrontation. There was no reason about neither of them getting hurt unless the other wolf attacked first. Aoiko Souls teeth began to grind together as she growled. her ears flattened again as she stood her ground. standing now in her up right position, she let out a bark. "I am not afraid of you" Soul looked down to Aoiko. her eyes threating him not to go further, if something happened, she'd push him aside. "Aoiko. If i tell you to go, i dont want you to fight. just go..." Aoiko "...But..." He sighed, this was getting hopeless first. "...Just don't get hurt..." Soul Soul nodded to Aoiko. although she couldn't make promises, she wanted to make sure he did'nt worry to much for her. Carmen *Shakeing her head the skeletal wolf sent a short smirk.* I have no reason to fight you. *Still having her claws digging into the ground she waits. Not being sure of what the other femme will do, all Carmen knows is that she wont make the first move... this time. Her tail still outright as the brownish female watched her, she looked as if she was expecting something to happen.* Soul Soul calmed. her ears flicked fowards as she relaxed slightly. "i have no reason to fight you either. i just suspected you came to fight." her head arched now, and her tail curled up. Aoiko Crisis avoided... Hopefully. Opon hearing this, Aoiko let go of his guard and relaxed sightly. Even if that wolf was... something indeed by personality, he had no reason not to trust that she would not attack them. With this, he sent glances to the river, as if pondering weither or not to catch another fish, trough his previous attempt tired him a little. Carmen *The smug look turned into a look of pure.. pure hatred.. how dare she. Crouching low the female bared her canines and sent a low deep growl around the woods.* How dare you *Her gaze was beginging to warm up for a second.. before the comment was said, instead it went into a iceyier tone as she glared. Barking a return the female seems highly offended.* How dare you say something like that, its NOT good to judge people by their looks and or actions. Yhe most subtile squirrel might have the coldest heart of hatred, and the most evil looking beast might have the warmest heart of them all. Like i say, how can you even THINK of judgeing me on what my action are, i have pride you know.* The wolf continued to ramble on about how the other female offended her DEEPLY, her tone and glance never chasnging as the saliva flew from Carmens canine bared muzzle.* Aoiko ...Or, uh, maybe not. As much as he wanted to say that SHE was the one that came, laughed in their face, and acted like she would attack, but he decided not to throw more oil on the fire. Soul Souls experession became visable as her face wrinkled. her maw being to foam with drool that ran down her canines. her anger was now rageing. she was jumping to conclusions. "I NEVER said i was judging you. by the last encounter you had with me, I suspected!" her ears flat back now, she was pissed. this wasn't some normal wolf. soul thought she was crazy. quickly, before soul could notice, she pushed Aoiko aside and charged at the female wolf. she didn't think twice at this attack as her eyes filled with rage. her mouth opened wide, as though about to drive her canines into the fleash of prey, and clamped down on the other females shoulder. quite close to her neck. she held tight, tring hard to keep her feet close to the ground. Aoiko Aoiko meeped as he felt himself pushed back... then panic took over. What could he do ?!> Not much. After all he did promise Soul he wouldn't fight... and even if he did, the only thing that could come out of it was that he would get wounded. This was one of the time where the pup wished he was older... One of his friends was at risk of being hurt and he couldn't do anything !!!! Carmen *Carmens eyes filled with rage, but she couldnt do anything but try to move away as the wolf lunged at her. Moving away just enough so the wolf didnt clamp her canines around her neck she winces as she is hit in the shoulder, the blood from the would free flowing down her limb. Her eyes filled with rage the skeletal countered the females attack by digging her own canines into the shoulder of her oponent was well. As she di so, she tried to rip out what she had gathered in her mouth.* Aoiko Panic... Aoiko was definitively paniced. Soul was getting hurt... but he had said... Screw it. With this, he did the first thing he could think about doing... and it was throwing himself in the middle, in between the two wolves. "Quit it, both of you ! STOP IT !!!!!" Balan A young male stood not to far away, watching the confrontation take place. It seemed quite unfair what the skeletal wolf was doing, but he wasn't about to get caught in the middle of an argument, afterall, he didn't know either of the adults, or the pup. He stood with Blue and gold eyes, watching. Soul souls eyes closed as blood began to run down her nose. then she felt a sharp pain in her shoulder. she let out a yelp, then tried to move back, and pull away, but couldn't her shoulder was being pulled by the female. she then tried to clamp onto her opponents feet. she quickly then saw Aoiko jump in and she now was full of worry. her eyes full of concern. she didn't want to do this, but she had to. her hind legs were free, and she tired to kick him to the side, getting him out of danger. Carmen *Still clenching onto the females shoulder she could hear the ripping happenening... More so was happening cause the female was now trying to reach for Carmens left hind leg. If the female contined to try and reach Carmen would completly rip out her shoulder mustles and all. Not too sure if the females neck could reach her hind leg she tries to kick the female with her left hind lefs claws, but insender one of her limbs was being lifted it put more weight on her already injured left front shoulder, causeing her to stumble slightly.* Soul soul falls quickly to her side, but slowly gets up, her maw open, she looks to the female. her tail curled up. suddenly, The female lunges at her, pouncing her and making her roll over slightly. she seemed injured badly, and as soul was running out of energy, she trips over her front paws and falls face first into the puddle of blood. as she stumbles to stand, she looks at the female. her eyes smered with blood, her shoulder ripped apart slightly, teeth marks indented into her flesh and bone. she panted, heavily. Carmen *Falling face first into the mud and blood ridden shoreline she blinks as the mud gets flung into her eyes, slightly blinding her. Turning to face her adversary she still lays on the ground. Digging her claws into the ground she turns around her body and tries to lift herself onto her injured limbs. Shaking slightly the blood stained skeletal wolf's canines bare again, even though Carmen was also weak and panting she will not try and give up to easily. Soul Soul quickly moved about the female. tring to find the right spot. her heart pounding out of her chest, her ears moving about, she watched. the female was not tireing easily, as she wans't either. her tail curled up, she again tried to charge at her, yet this time, she was weak, and had little energy to clamp onto the female. Carmen *Carmens cold eyes watch as the female as she circles around her, moving her body around with her as she circles. Then the skeltal female notices that the other was trying a possible finishing move lunge... so to counter it carmen goes STRAIT for the femme, preparing for them to make impact withing seconds.* Soul soul's ears flick back as they are lunging towards each other. the only thing running through her mind is *I'm going to die* she quickly tries to manuver her self over to the side to doge the wolfs attack. Carmen * Noticeing that the wolf was tring to dodge as they lunge at each other Carmen manuvers herself so that the attack they are both preceding is almost inavoidable for both opposers. Her claws out, the panting wolf springs back her hind legs and makes a break for the female* Soul souls ears flatten as they begin to head straight for each other. a yelp is heard as she gets closer to female. soon she feels pain running through her body. her head...she tries to move, but everything around her seems to be dark. Carmen * Suddenly getting struck with a pain... the darkness seems to engulf the skeltal female.. she gets dizzy and faint. As she hits into the female for some reason she feels all conciuosness leaving her.. she feels light.. and faint.. as the female collapses to the ground.. Knocked out.* Soul Soul feels the darkness overwhelm her. the light headed-ness surrounding her. her heart races as she tries to stay conciuos, but fails. she falls too knocked out. Aoiko ...Whoosy... This was the first thing that Aoiko felt once he came to - once Soul had pushed him out the second time, he had fallen badly and knocked his head on a rock by pure accident. The second tought was complete, utter panic as he saw the two wolves on the ground, and the midnight blue pup went straight to Soul - she was wounded, but still alive... the skeletal wolf probabely was in a similar state as well. He had to at least try to find some place where she would be safe, but he couldn't bring himself to leave - what if the other female woke before her and tried to kill her ? Right now, anything seemed likely in the pup's mind, and he did not feel like losing someone else he cared about. So instead he took a few steps, and a deep breath... and let out a howl that sounded nothing like the one he had used the very morning to call for his friend - pained, deep, and much more powerful. There was a few seconds of silence, then another howl of distress shattered the air - hoping that someone who, and would help, would hear it and come to the aid of the female he considered almost as a mother now, as he doubted he would ever see his true mother again. Then he went and caught a squirrel and a few mice, laying them beside her so she would at least have something, no matter how small, to eat once she woke, the pup panting as he crawled in between the unconcious Soul's legs, curling up there, hard yellow eyes fixed on Carmen. If she woke up and tried to hurt Soul again, this time he WOULD fight, no matter the concequences. He was tired, but swore not to give in to sleep until either the black wolf left or Soul woke.... Through he eventually felt asleep, huddeled against her.

Carmen *Coldness.. such.. coldness... she didnt know where she was.. wandering.. waiting.. watching.. whats going on? where am i she though? what am i she thought. I dont know whats going on. Lifting up one eye lid she dazzily and painfully looks out around the place where she laid. Her cold eyes warmed up for a second when she realized where she was, but then turned cold once again for she didnt want to show weakness. Trying to stand she finds her limbs shaky and hard to stand on, even though she was sleeping for quite some time she was still exausted. Finally getting to her haunches Carmen looks out around the banks. Noticeing the female wolf laying on the ground she kinda figured that she was uncouncious just as what happened to carmen. Also though.. she noticed another one looking at her, it was the cub with the golden eyes. Shrugging slightly she cringed and howled slightly in pain, the wound that the female had given her was still fresh, and deep. Her vision was still dazy from the loss of blood. But she didnt let this get her down. Instead of heading towards the female she turned tail and walked slowly off into the forest. Even though carmen could have had a chance at killing the female that never gave her name, Carmen had far to much pride to stab someone when they are down. So instead she wandered back into the comforting shadows of the forest.* Aoiko This seemed to be enough for him, as he relaxed again. He wasn't really long awake himself, had no clue how long he had slept, and neither did he really care. Soul was wounded, still unconcious, and he had no idea what to do to help. He was glad she had simpely left trough... And hoping a situation like this wouldn;t arise again... this fight was a simple missunderstanding, that could have been easely avoided. Soul Souls eyes closed, her body motionless, she lay there. helpless. in her mind, she was awake, and wanting to get up and protect Aoiko, and her self, yet, it seemed so hard to fight the blow that had hit her before. she could feel his warmth press against her legs, and body. her mind tring to remember what had happened. what was wrong with her? why could'nt she get up? she attempted so many times, tring, but always did she fail. she finally disregarded the pain that was caused when she needed to rise, and awoke, her eyes blinking and squinting in pain, as the bright sun blared down on her. her pelt hot, and her head in pain, she again laied on the ground. her eyes awake, although alert, she still was helpless. she let out grunts, and yelps as she tried hard to stand, but her legs were not responding. suddenly, her left ((will change if it was her right! XD *forgot*)) ankle began to burn, as it was still fresh. her shoulder also hurt, as the dirt and sand now mixed into her blood. she then, gathered enough strengh and forced herself to stand. her head drooping and her tail lowered, she was in a critical position. she never had been in a fight before. and never has she gotten injured this badly. except for the bear incident a while back. yet these wounds were made by another, her kind. she let out a low growl, almost as if she was talking to herself, then she looked to Aoiko. her tail first wagged then curled up. a grin appeared on her face, as she looked to him. tring to reasure him that she wasn't to bad. she could barely remember much that happened. only when the female came lunging at her, and then darkness. Aoiko The pup smilled, visibely glad to see her awake at least, trough he did a 180 degree turn and glanced at the wounds. "...Might want to at least clean them in the water..." He said. Sand and dirt in open wounds where not a good idea, logic didacted. "...I... brought something, if you're hungry." He said, motionning to the squirrel and mices he had hunted earlier. Soul souls tail wagged once more, as she was about to open her maw and move towards the meat, her head began to throb. and she closed it. something had happened to her skull. possibly the collision with the female. she couldn't talk. she could bearly open her mouth to eat. something was wrong, and this was bad. if she couldn't eat, she couldn't bite. meaning if that wolf came back, Aoiko would end up fending for himself. Aoiko "She's gone... She left just before you woke up." He saw something was wrong, and well, was begining to know her enough to know what she was probabely thinking at the moment. "...I doubt she's gonna come back... She wasn't that good either." He glanced up at her jaw, again at a lost of what to do. Soul Soul, helplessly, nodded. her teeth seperated in her mouth, for if she clamped down, then it would hurt. her ears flicked about as she looked to Aoiko. she wished that she could speak to him, yet it was hard. she tried "Which...direction.." she managed to say, and that too came out muffled and complicating for even soul to understand. she looked all directions then back to Aoiko. Aoiko The pup wriggeled his nose, then turned torward the forest. "There." He said, slowly. "...But you need to calm down for a bit or your wounds will get worste... I know a small cave, its where I go when it rains." He said, turning to look at her. "...Even if she do come back, I doubt she will find us there." Soul Soul looked deep into the forest. her yellow eyes scanning the area. it was shadowed now, so spotting the wolf would be suicidal. she looked to aoiko again and tried to speak once more "No....chase.....go......find.......water........to clean.....and....drink..." the words were stretched out, and the last one seemed to be forced out, for it was scratchy and different from the others. she began to move out in teh opposite direction of the female. moving in limps, and in struts. she tried to move fast, so that the dirt doesn't infect the wound, but she waited for Aoiko, she motioned him to grab the meat he had hunted, why allow good meat to go to waste, and then began to walk again. her tail upright, and her head arched. these wounds shouldn't make her act weak, even if she is. Aoiko Aoiko grapped the meat and followed, trough not eating it, He was not hungry, and well, it was for her. It woudn't feel right for him to eat it. With this in mind, he followed the older female down to the river, watching her as if ready to dart the second she would show signs of falling. Soul Souls body ached, but she knew that she had to go to the water. her claws driving into the ground, her tail swaying to the side, she moves towards the river, its light crashes could be heard. her nose twitches as the scent of wet sand also comes into her nose. she squints as many scents enter her nose at once, causeing her to sneeze painfully. her head pokes out of the forest, and into the open, were she looks at the river run through the land. she was happy to see no sign of attackers as she moved out, looking back at Aoiko. her body moves into the water as she slowly lowers herself, then rolls into it. the stinging pain of water and dried blood mix, as she squints. Aoiko There was only one thing he could really do right now, and it was watching over her. And thus, this was what he did, sillent as he put the meat down on the riverside, and lied down on the ground, his tail slowly traveling left and right as his deep yellow eyes where distant, as if he was not really completely there. It reminded him too much of that one day. Balan Balan had been watching over the fight. His keen eyes glared down upon the two fighting wolves, and then watched as the fox adn blue colored wolves left, heading for water. Balan tried his best to follow them withgout being spotted. But when the foliage around are very bold colors, a white wolf sticks out like a sore thumb. He meant no harm to the pup and elder, but was rather curious to see what had become of them... Soul Soul then looked up. she stared at Aoiko. her eyes peered at him, then she stood, moving towards him and sat. she tried to licked at his ear, but couldn't. a sad look on her face, she looked up at the sky. the clouds were white and fluffy, and clear. she grinned then moved about towards the water once more. Souls head turned as she sniffed another wolf. her ears flattened as she emitted a growl. her nose flareing. she then moved towards Aoiko, standing over him, and low to the ground. she watched the white male in the tree's. Aoiko Aoiko snapped out of his tought as the sent of another wolf came to his noze. Oh god, not again. Hopefully ill't end differently than the previous encounter. Soul was in no way in the situation for another fight, and hopefully she herself understood that. Thus, he crawled out from under her, glancing. The white wiolf stuck out like a sore thumb... "...You can come out, you know." He said. "...We won't hurt you if you don't try to hurt us." Soul souls ears flicked back as she glared at Aoiko. she didn't want him to go further, nor did she want him to get hurt. no matter if he was tring to protect her. she let out another warning growl. although weak, she could still attack. Aoiko ...Well, that was NOT helping. "Calm." He whispered. "...I don't think he's here to attack. At least he didn't come out and began laughing in our faces yet, so that's a good thing. I don't want you to be hurt furter, anyway." Soul soul quickly stopped. her head fell low, as she grumbbled. then silence. she sat, in quite. her eyes watching the male, and her thoughts racing. Aoiko ...And why did he had the distinct feelings the roles where inversed in this situation ? Oh well. He sat there, waiting to see what the male would do.

Soul soul sat by the river, her wounds still sore, yet now they weren't throbing and twitching. her ears flicked back as she watched the salmon fiddle by. they swam with ease, as though she was no threat, which, she wasn't, but..she ached for food, to even open her maw. she attempted once more, to see if pain would still stricke her. and supriseingly, it didn't hurt that badly. but, she still couldn't open it wide enough to eat. she let out a whisper to Aoiko. "You must be hungry...eh?" her throut crackled with every word, as she looked at him, her yellow eyes fixed on his. Aoiko "A little." Aoiko answered, tail wagging sightly as he stared at the fish, visibely wondering weither or not to go for another session of fishing extraordinaire. "You're feeling better ?" Soul Soul nodded slightly. "a little bit" a grin plastered across her features as she then lowered her head to the water. tring to take licks. the water was cool, and refereshing. it inside her mouth, it cleared out many dried blood stains that had come after the fight. she then rose her head, and licked her maw slowly, then looked to the pup. Aoiko He smilled, visibely glad of that fact, taking a few steps torward the river and croutching there, visibely trying his own little spun of fishing, integreating what she had taught her the day before. Soul*]soul smiled as she began to lay onto her side. her ears alert, yet her eyes drooping. they slowly fell, as she lay asleep. [/QUOTE]

Soul souls body twitched as she slowly got up. her body acheing as the position she slept in was odd. her eyes blinked as she moved, scrambling to her feet, then moving towards the water. her head not hurting as much now, as she lapped at the water. her ears flicked back, as the wounds on her body were visable from a distance. she moved onto the ground once more, and watched the fish move around. her paws pawed at them slowly, tring to catch them. obviously lazy. Selia The young alpha smelt the blood...her ears pinned back against her head, and she slowly made her way in the direction. Who could blame her for...well, being curious? She had spotted the fight a while ago, but had run off to find food, no time to watch in amusement as others got ripped apart..It seemed this wolf got a bad beating. Keeping her distance, her ears perked up...Oh! It was this one, the one she had seen near her den a lot. Wrinkling her nose a bit, she'd seat herself near the underbrush of the forest. Aoiko Aoiko was in a bed of grass not too far away, still deep asleep, and curled up into a little dark blue ball, his chest rising and falling soundly. His ear twitched every now and then, but that was all. Soul soul rose from her seat. her eyes peering into the woods. the scent of another wolf was close. to close for comfert. she let out a warning growl. as she eyed Aoiko then looked on. she stumbled slightly, then stood straight, tail curled up, ears erect. she then sniffed in again, smelling that it was Selia, the alpha she had met before, she calmed, as her nose twitched. she moved towards Aoiko and nudged him softly, tring to awaken him. Selia She hated to see someone this beat up...though, images if Feanaro flashed through her mind and she flinched inwardly. Lowering her ears a bit, but keeping her head held high...as any alpha should, she slowly turned her gaze towards Soul as she nudged the pup. Hm, well...nothing she could do. Sighing heavily, she'd look to the ground, eyes half closing...it was, so painful, sometimes. If only she could take others' pain away. But, no, she had to be strong...for her pack, and for her family. Aoiko The pup's ears twitched as he was nudged, letting out a small dissaproving whine, but soon enough yellow eyes lazyly opened, and he stood, stretchinvg and yawning, then smelling an unknown wolf. But if Soul wasn't on her guard, it probabely was someone she knew. Soul souls body moved back towards the river, as she stood in it. breakfast time. her body moved about the water as she looked to the water, her nose moving closer to it as the fish calmed with her preasence. she quickly then spoke to Selia "do you care to join us for breakfast?" her muzzle moving open and closed as her ears stayed fowards. her eyes looked up to Selia, then fell quickly back to the water. Selia She gave a smirk at this, and rose to her feet now. Moving over to Soul's side, she stood over the water...looking down into it. Hm, well, at least this was one thing that wouldn't hurt Soul worse. "That female hurt you?" She questioned, turning her head to look down at the other femme. She felt her hackles rise, despite the fact that Soul wasn't part of the pack--she still seemed to care for her. Soul seemed to be taking care of a pup, as well. Aoiko Definitively someone she knew... No need to worry. With this in mind, the still sleepy pup headed to the river, stopping at the side and croutching, yellow eyes locked on the fishes, as he visibely was deciding which fish he'lld have the most luck in catching. Soul soul let out a grin to Aoiko. her tounge licked her nose then she spoke "Yes." she didn't really care much of talking about it. it was the past, it had happened, she had to live with it. her tail wagged as she seemed to see that Selia cared for one out of her pack. her eyes locked onto a fish as it swam by her feet comfertably. she then quickly shot out towards it, catching it in her muzzle, and holding it by the tail. she let out a woof as she moved out towards the dirt, placed it on the ground, steped on it slightly, then once it was dead, she moved back towards the water, searching for more fish. Hige It was getting colder out, even Hige had noticed his coat getting a slight bit thicker. It seemed to catch more pieces of the forest floor than before as he rolled across the ground to flop on his side. Hige was bored. Very bored. Where had Selia gone off to? Where the devil was Devvyl? When was the last time Hige had gone exploring? Oh yeah, following that skunk into the trees and getting lost overnight.... icon_sweatdrop.gif Throwing his weight over further, Hige landed on his stomach with a soft buff, ears rocking forward in hopes of catching SOMETHING entertaining. ............... ......... ............ No? Okay!!! Timetogoexplore!! icon_biggrin.gif ********** Hm, well, as luck would have it Hige just happened to wander across the familiar scents of his 'mom' and another female he'd scented around the den a few times. He could also pick up blood, plus another wolf's scent, and- curious as ever, Hige decided to investigate. He emerged at a lazy trot from the trees, tail twitching a bit with curiosity as he approached the three, from his mother's side. His curious umber eyes went from Selia, to the injured Soul-pausing curiously there, to the black and blue pup padding around in the river's shallows. He brushed against Selia's leg in greeting and to let her know that he was there, then crept quietly past Soul, peering back to her curiously again. The two females were talking, Hige was polite enough not to interrupt. He padded towards the river and stopped, tilting his head at the other pup curiously. "What are you doing?" Aoiko Aoiko's tail started to wag, as he didn't seem to pay attention to the two females's conversations, only to his choosen prey. He was going for a sightly bigger fish than the other times, so he'll have to be precise... ...with a little bit of luck on the side. He leaped as his prey came close enough, diving... ...and missing, sliding into the water and loosing step in the progress, the pup spitting out some water. Not fair ! Why did this one have to swim that fast ?!? Aoiko's ear again perked, and he looked up at Hige. "...Fishing... Well.... more like trying to..." He said, heading back to the riverside along with his sightly bruised pride. Selia Looking down to Hige as he brushed against her, she smiled at him, and lowered her head to lick his tiny head. "Catch breakfast," she chuckled, and nudged his chest, pushing him towards a fish she had caught moments before. "Go ahead, I'm sure you're hungry--" She heard a splash, looking up to see the pup who had fallen into the water...Laughing softly at the cuteness, she'd move a bit deeper into the water. Though small to the males--she was quite a big female for...well, a normal female. Snapping her jaw down into the water, she'd catch another one...she had spent most of her time around here fishing when she was younger. Throwing it onto the shore near the other pup, she smiled, and looked back down to the water. Aoiko Well, it was official, he was probabely the only wolf to suck at fishing. Yippie. He looked at the fish, then glanced at the female, as if unsure if it was intended for him or the other pup. Soul soul grinned to Aoiko, as she licked at him. she then moved towards another fish, her ears flicking back against her skull as she moved towards the water. she then caught another, throwing it on shore, then moving up. during the fight, she probably hurt her ribs slighlty to were she had a hard time running or being active for a long while. she sat on the side. her maw open in a pant, her tail curled up. her eye stayed awake, as she watched Aoiko, her un-official adopted pup. she now knew what adopting felt like. Soul Soul quickly moved deeper into the river, her eyes set on a moving fish. her ears flicked back as she watched it carefully. her eyes slowly moved about to Selia. she looked towards the other way, and spoted another wolf. must be her friend. she growled to him, warning him to stay away, as her nose lowered, her scars obviously in pain. she moved back towards Aoiko, then stopped. she then calmed herself. her ears flicking fowards, as a confused look plastered across her face "Selia. you have to leave?" she then nodded and grinned "ah, yes. i forgot. you now belong in a pack! you must protect them at all cost" she smiled, wagging her tail and then licked at Aoiko's head. Selia Looking to the wounded femme, she smiled a bit, and slowly stepped her way deeper into the river. The rushing waters that had carried her away as a pup, and almost been her grave, was nothing to her now...she actually enjoyed the rush of energy the river gave her. "We'll be leaving when the herds move," she confirmed, and sun her head into the water..before lifting it up quickly, sending sparkling droplets of water into the air when she shook her head off. "Dont you have a pack? Or have any intentions of finding one before the snow comes?" She questioned, and looked back towards the female with the pup. Soul Soul looked up to the sky. "no. i once was supposed to join one. as a pup, me and others had fantasys of creating a pack, well...we all slowly seperated. i rarely see them anylonger." her ears flattened. "as for the snow, i must stick it through, although i have no pack of my own, i will protect Aoiko from the harsh tempatures that will accure. so, no, i dont have a pack." her head rose with pride, although she knew that she would never be in a pack. it was one of thoughs things she always knew, like...she knew her pack would soon be dead, leaving her alone, she knew that something would go wrong, but soon would be healed with the blessings of close ones. all her knowledge was said in riddles throuth her head. she didn't quite feel welcome into packs, as though, she would get turned down, or be kicked out. with her haunches rose, she listened her her surroundings, which always stopped her from letting sadness overwhelm her. Selia She nodded a bit, "Well," she began, thinking this over momentarily...They had..uh, Devvyl, Elphaba, Yero, Whinn, Autumn, Hige...and maybe Feanaro and Kahlaria. It would be a good chance that, well, they wouldn't stay long..the more the marrier, right? "Well," she repeated, "If you need protection over the winter...since you have a pup. You may come with us," she called, and wadded out of the water...Shaking off, she trotted over to her. "We have a large group, but from the looks of things, we may need a few extra sets of jaws and legs to help us with hunting." Soul soul looked quite suprised. her nose wrinkled. her alpha-ship would be ruined. but, she did not want to live her life as a loner. and she could leave the pack when she wanted. she quickly spoke "....I.....I am not sure." her eyes fell apoun Aoiko, he shouldn't be alone this winter, he needed pups to play with. with a long, sigh she spoke once more. "...If i am accepted into your pack, i will join." she paused. as though thinking over what she just said. if she wanted to leave, she would. she wouldn't tell them though, only Aoiko. she then began to think of tam. her best friend that was not to be found. she let out a sigh. she wanted to express emotion for her, yet she didn't. she looked strong, and rose her tail. and nodded with a smile to Selia. yet, inside, she hated the idea.. Selia Not many wolves liked to be submissive. Especially to those they didn't knwo well--which was why she was somewhat glad that she herself had gotten lucky and got Alpha ranking with her mate. Sighing heavily, she smirked to Soul, "Do as you wish, it's merely an invitation." She offered quietly, and looked down to the pup...Hige would grow soon. She'd miss being a real mother, again...with just a pup and herself. Her smile fainted a bit...but she kept it up for Soul, who still had the offer up for her. Aoiko In all this, Aoiko remained sillent. This wasn't his league, and he knew it... trough he was busying himself staring at the ground. It was not that being submisive bothered him - he knew that and well... If being an alpha meant being like his father, then it was the last thing he ever wanted to become. Not all where the same, but... No, it was the fact that he was, unknowingly, forcing Soul to make that choice that brought the sight sence of shame that lodged itself in the pup's yellow eyes. She wasn't too keen on the idea, it was evident... But his simple presence here almost forced her to accept... because he was an helpless pup. Suddently, he found himself wondering if he could ever bring something else than bother. Selia Looking up when she heard Feanaro's voice, her eyes lifted from that of Soul, to the male just a few yards from them. She blinked and lowered her ears a bit, "I'm now sure if we should leave yet," she began, and flinched, "It's too early. There is still plenty of food left around here." She mumbled back to him, giving a passing glance to Soul and her pup, before stepping over to him. "We dont want to leave too early and have to pick off perfectly good breeding herds," she insisted, and sat down before him.. He looked a bit better...though, seemingly still wary of her and her mate. "We'll move as soon as we can..Hige is still too small to move on without being carried, and that may slow us down...We also need to wait for Yero and his friends a bit longer..." She trailed off, and sighed. Feanaro "You don't understand.... the early flocks have well passed over us. The flocks passing us now are the flocks that are just on time. If we linger any more we'll have the late flocks and if you think traveling with the on-time flocks will be hard on the pups and ourselves then imagine us trying to keep up with a flock of geese. This way if we sleep in and miss our flock another will come to guide us. Selia understand that we have no choise, the heards are moving and if we loose track of our direction we'll starve and die." He was quite serious, angered that she wasn't listening to his reason, "I'm not the "alpha" but I've got the sense of one- and believe me, if it wasn't for you I'd challange for the position. We need to leave by morning at latest or our pace will be a dreadful one and we won't have time to hunt or sleep." Soul Soul looked to Feanaro. her ears flicked back as she stood. her eyes fell to Selia. as she slowly spoke to her. "I...I can't leave yet. i have gotten so used to these lands. i...i can't see my self leaving. although, yes i know that winter is approaching fast....i can't find it in me to go. . . not just yet at least..." her ears flicked fowards as she looked to Aoiko. she padded over to him, placing a playful paw on his head, and grinning with care. she knew that he might not make it on the journey, she might not either. this was their first winter. or atleast hers, and she wasn't prepared

Soul Soul quickly came to a hault, as she appeared through the thicket. she smiled softly to Elphie. 'hello again' she let out a yawn, then moved on towards the water. lapping at it slowly she shook her fur. 'As the day moves on, it gets colder. Aoiko still hasn't awoken...i'm worried' she said slowly. her maw drenched with chilled water. she then sat on her haunches, staring into the water. the reflection of her mother appeared once more. her eyes brightened as she snorted. 'When will we be moving Elphie.' she looked over to her. her eyes crooked slightly as if woried about that too. she then smelt a new wolf. and her guard began to increase. the winds were blowing in her fancy. she stared out into the woods. were she smelt the male. '.....wonder who it is..' she spoke to herself this time. Elphaba Still tight muscled from the discussion with Isaac, Elphaba started as Soul spoke beside her. "Sorry, Soul," She apologized for her flighty reactions. "There was this strange male.." Her brow furrowed as she cast a last glance in Isaac's direction and then shook her head. (Soul should soo tell Elphie Isaac's name since he wouldn't. >D!)"Selia promises it will be soon. The pack is forming together in the ready," The brown wolf's thought strayed to the pup Soul had adopted. "Have you taught your young one how to hunt?" Aoiko would be an adolescent soon, and able to keep up with the pack. Elphie reasoned that was one of Devvyl's reasons for holding back as long as possible. A long move would be hard on young wolves. Soul soul glanced to Elphie. 'i know...i smelt him' she let out a sigh, as though sad. she looked to Elphie. 'did he specify his name to you?' her nose flared as she looked at her. she then nodded slightly. 'alright.' then she heard the next question and quickly answered. 'i have. to fish. but that is all. a while back, i was supposed to teach him...but he had been in a sleep for a while now.' she let out a slightly, motherly whimper as she thought of bad things Aoiko Those bad toughts where soon calmed down trough, as a midnight blue wolf dashed out of the den, heading to the river to cash some fish. He slowed down, and let out a howl when he spotted Soul, letting him know where he was. Elphaba "Oh, no." Elphie mused in sardonic entertainment, leaning into the cool wind as it ruffled her coat pleasureably. "He made quite sure I didn't know," She tipped her nose to the air as she heard a puppy's howl and scented the little blue youngster. "Don't worry. Devvyl and Selia will be sure to leave no one behind" She said kindly. "A bad sleep? He hadn't a fever had he?" Soul souls maw rose as she sniffed the air. 'Aoiko. glad your awake! you had me worried' she dashed towards him, licking his forhead softly and ruffing. 'Do you feel ok?' she sniffed him over, then sat by his side and licked his cheek. 'and we would never leave you behind. i wouldn't allow it.' she then looked to Elphie once more. 'oh....he didn't.' she let out a slight sigh as she thought of isaac. she missed him, but....she thought he loved another wolf....he probably never noticed her odd feelings for him. 'well...i know him. do you know which direction he went?' her maw half open. in a pant. Aoiko "Im fine..." He answered, wriggling his ear in the process. He visibely didin't get what the whole worry was about, or how long he had slept for. Soul soul looked to him. her ears drooped slightly, as she watched him. 'so....are you hungry?' she spoke in a slow, almost sad mannor. as she moved towards the rushing water. Aoiko "A little..." He followed. "...What's going on ?" Soul a smile creeped on Soul's face. 'ah, its nothing.' she looked on to the river. and shook her head. 'this will never do. lets go hunt rabbits shall we?' her maw opened. Aoiko "Uh.. okay." He'lld never attempted hunting anything bigger than a squirrel, so he had no idea what could possibely come out of this. Soul soul smiled once more 'i'll teach you.' she then moved at a slow trot towards the woods, her ears flicking about listening for any sudden noice. Aoiko Aoiko croutched, and remained low to the ground, using the same tactic he had come to use when hunting squirrels. His ears where perked and alert to any noise, as he tentatively took a few steps. Soul soul followed Aoiko. her ears flicked back as the rabbits seemed not to notice her. she moved quickly, yet stelthily, making sure not to step on any twigs. her heart raced as she spoted her prey. a large, grey rabbit leaped about. his body seeming to be plump. she moved fowards, and then slowly....she leaped! up into the air she went, flying down towards the rabbit, stepping on two instead of just the one. she then bit down hard on both necks, waiting for the squirming to stop. Aoiko Aoiko saw how Soul did, nodding quietly to himself as he spotted his own. It was probabely a youth itself, trough Soul's pouncing had set the rabbit into panic and it went running, so Aoiko used the age old tactic of "run after it until you catch it or you lose it." He did catch it, but it wriggeled, as he tried to keep his hold on the rabbit's neck, Soul soul laughed softly as the two rabbits hung from her maw. she smiled, laying them on the ground and began to eat. she looked up to him and spoke 'tighten your grip, and brake its neck.' she said, with blood smothered about her mouth. Aoiko He pinned the rabbit on the ground and tried to do just that, but it was harder than he tought... Trough as his attempts went on the rabbit fought less and less hard, until it stopped, lifeless. His hold was at least enough to choke it. Blinking, the pup seemed to beam with pride. He'd done it ! Soul soul smiled 'hehe, congratulations, your first landed pray.' she laughed then she began to devour her rabbits again. Aoiko Aoiko let out an happy yip, a tail wag and a smile, then went to eat himself. Soul Souls feet moved across the ground as she left the bones and some skin left on the rabbit. she licked her maw tastily, then sneezed. 'Aoiko, now what would you like to do?' she spoke happily. 'well, after you eat of coarse!' she shook her head, tail wagging. Aoiko "...Hmmm..." The pup swallowed. "I dunno... what do you want to do ?" Soul soul looked to Aoiko. 'not sure. ' she said slightly. 'lately you havn't had any fun....' she sighed softly. then she bolted towards him, batting at his head, then rising into a 'Play' posture. Aoiko He let out a small "Hey !" When she batted his head, then grinned and lunged, puncing his adoptive momma and batting at her nose. Soul soul fell over, and laughed. her nose quickly gets bat at and she snaps gently at his paws. her tail at a full wag. she then knocks him over softly, and licks his head. Aoiko The pup laughed, then batted at her ear, then, using the fact she was down on the ground, went and sat on her back, yipping. Soul soul went to stand but suddenly felt pressure on her back. she laughed and tried to push him over. Aoiko He grinned and yipped again, doing his best to stay on without actually hurting her. Soul soul let out a bark and then rolled over, creating a tipping motion for Aoiko to topple over. she barked happily and licked her maw. 'Come and get me' >D Aoiko "Is that a dare I hear ?" He grinned more, then pounced her, accidentally setting the two rolling down an hill. ...YIIIIiiiiippp... @.@ Soul soul growled playfully, as he leaped towards her, then sent them both flying down a hill. she rolled, tring to seperate from him, so not to squish him. landing with a thud, she shakes her fur off and speaks loudly. 'Aoiko!' Aoiko ...Forest is going in circles.... That's was Aoiko's view on the matter, as he managed to walk, kinda drunk-like (( xd !!!)) to Soul, and tumbeled next to her, shaking his head and trying to make the world stop spinning. "Heh... I gotya !" He grinned, in dispice of being dizzy. Soul soul smiled and twired around him. 'That you did' she spoke softly and nudged his nose. she then looked up the hill, and sighed. 'well, lets go see if we can get back up there shall we?' she moved towards the hill, and began to stammer, up it. Aoiko He followed her up, and the second they where back up, he pounced her again, grinning, but this time curling up against her, yawning, and curling up, quicky falling asleep, as if there was nowhere else he could be best at at the moment. Soul soul smiled to Aoiko, licking his head gently. 'Let us go. we must not be in the broad of night on our lonesome.' she lifted him up, and placed him on her back, to were his head was in between her two front bones, and her back legs were dangling besides to two back's of hers. she began at a slow trot. moving out towards the den. soon, they had reached it. her body lowered as she lifted him off of her, and placed him in the corner of the den. she moved about him and cruled to were she circled him completly. Aoiko He did not wake as he was carried back to the den, but instinctively nudged closer to Soul once they had gotten then, still deep asleep with a smile on his face.

...They grow up like weeds, don't they ?!? Soul Soul looked to Aoiko. she stood up quickly and grinned. 'You've grown Aoiko!' her maw opening in shock. he was beautiful. she moved towards him, nudging his nose gently and then curling about him once more. Gaara He watched the two wolves warily...one seemed to be a teen, the other an adult. Slowly, he attempted to trot past them without being noticed...since it was dark, and his coat was dark, he may not be noticed...He wanted to get back to the river, where he could rest there before going out to hunt rabbits or something...he had finally caught his first one that morning, the dried blood about his maw and neck showed this...
That scent may give his place away, though...but the pup wouldn't notice that, now would he? Aoiko "...Mrrrrrphhhhh..." He rolled to his side as he was nudged, a yellow eye opening. "Whowhawherenowmamma?" ...There are things that change, and things that just doesn't....
