there has been a lot of debate over whether kikyo or kagome is better so lets let this poll decide
personally i think kagome is better

Me too. I don't hate Kikyo, but she is dead. Plus, she's kinda cold.

Kikyo would win
I do like Kagome better, but you have to see how much better kikyo is in a fight. Kagome would stand a chance on her own.

i think its really sad and tragic that kikyo and inuyasha were broke up by naraku... i mean, think about it... their life was seemingly perfect, and then all of a sudden some jerk-off comes along and sets them up so they both think the other betrayed them... they were in true love, right? such beauty cannot compare... and like romeo and julliette, they die on the same day, their love never dying...
then, 50 years later, kagome comes along, breaks the spell on inuyasha... we all know the story. next thing ya know, inuyasha is falling in love with kagome, but he still has feelings for kikyo (who is dead, technically, but she's just wandering around aimlessly stealing souls). personally, i think kikyo should've stayed dead... her constent wandering around and keeping inuyasha confused annoys me. i understand completely that they were in love... but there's that "were" there... "were", as in past tense.
wouldn't that just screw everything up if kagome killed kikyo? i mean, that would totally change the way inuyasha sees her (kagome). i think the kikyo haters would love that cat fight, though.

hmmm well i think kikyo because one she is already dead, as much as i may like kagome, i totally think kikyo has the upper hand, also she has more skill, not to knock kagome, she needs a few more years to practice archery, kikyo probably has been trained her whole life and has probably accumulated a lot more power. but if you are talking about kikyo or kagome winning inu, i think kagome because well she isn't dead, but hey rumiko is kind of demented so for all we know at the end kikyo could kill inuyasha reincarnate him lol then they spend eternity together, or kagome stays there, the last thing i remember reading in a online manga is inu wishes for kagome to be happy. a blue light surrounds her and bam it ends. so well for all we know kagome could choose hojo and is really pissed at inuyasha for hurting her so much and goes back for good since everything is probably done...... i can go on and on, but well i don't wanna bore any of you so i'll just stop right here haha.

its hard to say. I mean, I really want Kagome to have Inuyasha, but in a fight, Kagome really doesn't do anything. I hate the fact that sometimes she is sooo useless!
so, Kikyo would win, even though she will never ever get Inuyasha.

Kagome because I don't like Kikyo that much even though she's still kinda alright...................(inuyasha wouldn't let them fight anyway or maybe he would????)
