The Chronicles of Ryu Ookami:
The Beginning
This is an account of the adventures of the last heir of the Ookami Clan, Ryu, and his brother Draakair. Before the story starts you need a brief background of this world.
The world is as close as you could get to Earth without actually being there. The only difference is that on this planet there is only once vast continent. Much like Earth before the continents split. This continent is called Cruesatania (Pronounced Crew•SA•ta•nia). There are numerous cities and villages, but only four major governments. The Empire in the north, the Free States to the east, the Union of Powers in the west, and the Finality to the south. There isn’t time to tell you all that happens between these nations, but I will say the only thing keeping the nations from fighting is a patch of land in the middle of all of them the size of 10 miles on all sides. This is one city, the major city. It was creatively named the Capitol. Here is where all four nations send representatives to talk out disputes and keep peace between them. There is another side to Capitol city though. It is the side that sin and vengeance thrive. Here a person with the right amount of money can buy anything from love to mercenaries. That is where our main character comes in. He is a mercenary at the young age of 20. He grew up in a small village in the Free States deep in its forests. He can frequently be found in many of the bars in the “Alcohol District.” Don’t be mistaken; he’s not an alcoholic or skirt chaser. He just hangs out with friends and watches the people that come in and out. Ryu also frequently is seen at 34 North Street. Why? That small building of faded red and graffiti is where Ryu gets his assignments. There is something about both of them that you should know. Draakair is a white dragon. No, he doesn’t look like it since he can transform to hide his real form. Ryu is a half blue dragon. Don’t be too surprised. In the Free States is where many creatures hunted in other parts flee since the government vowed not to turn anyone away. You will find many interesting creatures and crossbreeds in the forests there. Don’t be afraid. Although many of them look mean, most just want to lead a perfectly peaceful life away from the people in the other nations. Unfortunately, he isn’t anywhere near there now. He is currently on assignment deep within the Empire. You won’t find him unless he wants you too. His brother Draakair is on another assignment within the Empire. Unlike Ryu, Draakair isn’t a mercenary. He is a tracker and retriever. Give him information on something and someone, and he will find it. This is where we join them now…
