Personality: (Taken from Neshaka's journal) Daniel is a particularly over-excitable kid. He usually has enough energy for himself and someone else, even after a race across whatever happens to be handy. He's also easy to wind up, but he forgives easily and forgets quickly. Ever since his powers revealed themselves, he's been more calm and introverted. Once things settle down, he'll likely revert to his usual self. (Added) Although relatively calm when nothing is happening, Daniel is likely to get excited when smoething happens. Boredom is a rare problem, as he enjoys having something to do at all times. He's not overly nosey or prying, unless it is imperative that he knows something.
General Appearance: Daniel maintains a tan because he spends most of his time outside. His dark blonde hair has grown out over the years, ans is tied back in a loose ponytail. When wet, it becomes even darker, almost making him seem like a brunette. He has the sort of eyes you could get lost in -and that quality you would expect from a blue-eyed person, not a brown-eyed one. His usual attire is a simple shirt and shorts. He wears sandals, but will go barefoot when he wants to. His favorite outfit is a black shirt with a flaming skull on it, and combined with his hair, it gives him a rather dark appearance. His favorite bottoms are bermuda-cut blue denim shorts, split in two beginning at the bottom of his knee and ending at the bottom of the shorts themselves. People who know him well know that his clothes don't really say what he's really like.

Likes: Volcanoes, soccer, surfing, skating, the beach.
Dislikes: Losing control of himself, incredibly cold places, school, boredom, betrayal.

Daniel has the ability to manipulate fire, as well as the ability to create it. He can manipulate it into whatever shape he wishes, though the larger the fire, the harder it is for him to control and restrain. He can also stop fires, but does not usually attempt to retract the flames unless absolutely necessary. Even when he touches the flames, they do not hurt him or leave any type of apparent burn on his skin.

Daniel's mother and father are care and love their son, but are slightly afraid for and of him. They have dismissed his initial power use as a fluke. They don't completely accept his powers -but really, they don't know what to do about them. They're willing to believe almost anything, as long as it gets them the knowledge and basic understanding that they need. As long as it sounds plausible, they're willing to accept it as the truth. However, they're always honestly concerned about their only son.
