Vivian walked out to the lake and her skirts and cape billowed behind. She had changed into the robes she obtained at a magical village not to far from the Castle. They were a gift from a greatful old woman who had lost her grandchild, whom Vivi had found.

They had more magical properties then her cloak did and, well, made a show of her figure.

A blush appeared across her cheeks as she remembered the kiss.

A girl couldn't be ALL buisness.

As she walked upon the perimeter of the Lake left to her thoughts and memories, the lake seemed to boil, it was of course minor at first, but the intensity of the boil like effect seemed to grow larger and larger. It was not soon that the water became almost violent as water spouts shot upward high into the sky. The air almost took on an edge of electricity, and a careful observation probably would reveal the presence of electric mixed with all the mist that was now being created.

Soon a loud groaning sound could be heard, and the sound only seemed to grow in intensity, and it was coming from the Lake. What the source was, seemed to become evident as a large stone like body began to rise from the Lake. From all appearances it shape seemed to be a Lobster, but that was a poor description, as this thing had its own lines that said otherwise. Upon its stone surface lie large detailed runes and sygils that glowed faintly with a cool blue coloring. Yet what would catch any onlookers gaze was the two bright red eyes of the beasts head when it finally had surfaced.

The stone beast was gigantic, measuring in several hundred feet, and almost equal that in width. It was an awe inspiring site as it soon began to move towards the water edge towards Vivian. The stone beast was fully articulate as its limbs moved, and its weight massive as the sand and earth seemed to give way to its incredible weight. Closer it drew to Vivian, and just when one might think she would be crushed it stopped.

Part of it still remained in the water, but what part did not, and more so to the things chest area it had began to open. The front edge of the section lowered down, appearing to be some sort of ramp. Behind the ramp there was lighting that began to show through the edges as the ramp separated downward away from the body. Soon the light equalized, and into the cavity that now showed, people could be seen standing there.

The people there were all uniformed, matching. The colors of the Uniforms consisted of a Red Coat that had a cross flap that buttoned almost diagonally, trimming upon the flap seemed to enhance the appearance. Some type of gold like medallion or pin was affixed to the left hand side of the jacket. Around there waist was a black leather belt, and it was fastened by some type of crest. The collar though seemed to be another shirt undereneath as is it was high and white. The pants were black, and the bottoms disappeared into knee high boots. The pants being trimmed with a red stripe on each outer side of the pants legs. Four them came down the ramp, and were armed with swords, and some kind of rod, they came to the ramps edge and took look out positions.

A familiar face was then noted coming down the ramp next. Upon his shoulders sat the familiar Drake from the night before. A smile was on the mans face, and he did not pause in step until he reached Vivian.

“Good morning, you look lovely today.”

Christophers then turned halfway, and jutted out his arm in the direction of the stone beast. “May I introduce to you the Spelljamming Ship Entente’.”

Vivian let out a long and low whistle. The ship was certainly impressive, and, when it first began to rise, she was quite intimidaited by it. It was obvious that this thing was ment intimidate. There had to be some impressive little quirks to it.

Quirks Vivi wanted to know more about. Rarely did something instate such awe in her

Her eyes travled over the men in uniform and she raised an eyebrow. It had been a long time since she had seen a uniform so well tailored. Things like that impressed her as too. It showed to her that the ship was well manned and well taken care of.

Although she had to admit that she was stunned to see other people. She wasn't exspecting it. That's why she deicided on the outfit.

" Good Morning, " she replied as her eyes stayed on the ship. " This is quite... impressive. I had no idea that you had men under you."

The Drake sat up, and looked at Vivian, the jumped from Christophers to her shoulder, where she curled up on them and her neck.

"Morning, Apprentice," she said.

Christophers looked at the site. "Deserter."

Christophers turned back onto Vivian. "Yes a full crew compliment, what is a ship without a crew, a ship that wont' get far. Hope you brought your apppetite, my chef has prepared a welcoming breakfast for us."

Vivian smiled at the Drake. Even though it did have an attitude, she couldn't help but like the familiar.

" Good Morning," she replied and she slowly brought her hand up to pat the Drake on the head. Even though it might seem like what someone would do to a pet, Vivi like having her hair played with and she assumed that the Drake would like being patted.

She looked at Christophers and winked.

" I'm starving, actually."

“Well we should get you fed immediately then.”

He offered his arm to Vivian, and waited to see if she would take it. He could not help but hope he was not being to forward or aggressive. Last nights kiss had left an lingering impact upon him. It also left him with mixed feelings as to her being an apprentice or being something more. It was going to fast and he was sure of that much, and that in itself was probably one of the major concerns that he thought of.

Vivian smiled at him. He was very nice and that was fantastic the night before, but, she needed to study. Her studies had to be the most important thing to her right now. She couldn't get distracted.

Don't be stupid. Females get burned by doing this. Remember The Maiden of Calder? You do not want to be haunting a mansion for the rest of your after life, do you?

But how couldn't she? He was being so sweet. She took his arm.

Christophers let them into the Entente, and the interior was even more impressive as they walked on a marble like floor. Some mosaic patterns were intermixed into the floor. The walls also showed some excellent designs coupled with some artwork. What amazed her though was the alcoves, as statues stood there, and after careful inspection, they were concluded to be the same statues that animated in the Castle as part of the defenses.

Other crew were seen moving about, doing whatever duties were required. Christophers led Vivian to a raised dias, and proceeded to step up on it, as soon as Vivian followed suit, a command was given, the the two disappeared via teleport.

The reappeared upon a dias, and not skipping a beat, Christophers led the way down the hallway, but it was not far as standing in the hall was a humanoid that was nearly 8 foot tall. Its chest was like a barrel, and his head was even more suprising as it took on the appearance of a hippotamus.

"Vivian, may I introduce you to my first officer, Commander Dahlo'Sett."

The large humanoid bowed, and clicked his heels.

"It is a honor," he said.
