So yesterday I was sleeping in my math class because I had had hardly any sleep at all prior to yesterday. There was one point when I was asleep, but I was still conscious. Like, I could hear everything around me, but I couldn't control my body, like I couldn't move it or anything (I tried to pick my head up, but couldn't and then tried to move my arm, but couldn't). And I could also see myself and the people around me (I had my head on the desk with my face buried in my arms). I don't know if it was just a dream or what. Any ideas?

that happened to me but it was durring a yoga class, consequently i dont go to yoga anymore.

Well I already knew that you astral project all the time when you sleep. I've just never experienced it like this before... where I actually remember it.

I definitely know that feeling, it happened to me twice or three times.

Once when I fell alseep on the floor of the bus from a concert in Milano, I could see the entire bus, I was walking up and down, right through me, and couldn't move my body.

Second time it was when we were driving to Wacken (a Heavy Metal festival in the North of Germany)... It was a 14h drive and the only thing keeping me up were 3 cans of ice coffee. And as is always the case with coffee, a sudden high of energy is followed by a sudden low in energy also. I was sitting there, supposed to be entertaining the driver so he wouldn't fell asleep razz I wasn't doing a very good job. Anyway, I could see everyone in the car even though my eyes were closed, I felt as if I was sitting on the hood.

And the third time was also on a bus, only this time I was going to school and I dozed off in the seat.

I don't know what it was, probably Astral Projection, though I can never will it to happen.

The medicle term is "Sleept Paralysis." It is the samething as "being ubducted by aliens." It is when you regain consciousness in the middle of REM Sleep and are still partailly dreaming.
