....but for some reason you still love them, for what they are? How do you wear it out if known as a lolita? :/
Mine is a black "velvet" dress by Lolita Rose. I'm not sure why I like it, but I do.
Weird question?

No no. XD I was wondering if anyone had a favourite dress that is "supposed to be" lolita but my standards, isn't? But they love it anyway?

Well, this is my 'Loli' dress that I am trying to wear at Otakon. It's from Cosmates, although I'm not sure if this is Lolita enough...It has the nice looking lace but not the same general style that I'd think when I'd see Lolita.

A Conspicuous Nobody Well, this is my 'Loli' dress that I am trying to wear at Otakon. It's from Cosmates, although I'm not sure if this is Lolita enough...It has the nice looking lace but not the same general style that I'd think when I'd see Lolita. that's like wa-loli, kimono style dresses inspired by the lolita fashion.

I have a black dress that is really tight until almost to my knees and then it has two big black ruffles at the bottom.
I love it, but it's not lolita.

i have a ton of clothes that arent lolita. i dress in a crap load of styles. i wear (or try) to wear everything assioated with what i listen to, simply because i like it all and i love variety. i dress punk, coprate (tons of pencil skirts, button-ups and stiletto healed "office boots"), plain gothic weird, cyber goth (omg loveee) and currently building on lolita. but omg i love cyber goth. i have thease goggles and a pvc skirt i loveeee er.. picture of an exelent example of a cyber gothic women  if i had to choose 2 styles to only dress in it would be that and lolita. what a contrast!

I just don't pull it off very well. ^_^; rofl. it is really a bold fashion. im pretty shy about wearing pvc to any where but the club and my house. i want to get hair falls (long wool dreaded ones) but i intend to wear it in my pony tail, not high pig tails, it would really dress up the plain pony w/o being too "look at me!!!". the only problem is my hair is red, not bright red but a specific shade of red, and i have yet to find my hair color. but then again i havent really been looking since summer. one more crappy thing too, its really expensive!

My most recent "Lolita" find is a yellow ruffle top I got a Torrid in early October.
I love it. It's a little low cut, so I wear a long sleeve shirt underneath it.

I have two. ^^; One is my dress I got for prom last year. It's Lip Service's Victorian influeneced dress.  <--- So you can see detail. biggrin   These pictures are about a year old (in January they'll be that old biggrin ). I don't really have any good pictures of me from prom in it. And even if I did, I'd doubt I'd want to look at them right now. I wasdn't wearing any make up in these pictures and I'd just woken up after my afternoon nap (nap? 5 hours is a nap?) and found the box in the living room in which I proceeded to try it on. The other one is Lip Service's Torture Gown. Ryan bought it for me. It's going to be my prom dress this year (yes, I have a bad habit of buying prom dresses MONTHS in advance). biggrin This one looks nothing like lolita though. xD  The cold chapped my chin. D: But I really love that dress. <3 But that is a REALLY crappy picture of me. I know I'm cuter than that. D:
