Sometimes your skills start acting funny over time. What I mean by that is, when you first had SSBM you became really good with a particular character, then after a while you lose your talent with that character and get good with a really different character.
For instance, When I first got SSBM, I got really good with Shiek, then after a while I stopped playing her so much for some reason and became really good with Ganondorf. After that was Faclo, then Jigglypuff and now It's Mario's turn.
Has something like this happened to you?

I was awesome with fox, until I got Roy, now I use Roy almost all of the time.

It happened like this...
Started as Link, learned Roy, back to Link, to Samus, to Ganondorf, to Shiek, and now just Ganondorf. Ganondorf and Dr. Mario.

it was like this
I used fox, then i stopped playing ssbm for about 2 yrs. Started playing again this summer and discovered smashboards and youtube. After watching all the pros play fox i felt like a n00b (which i was xd ). I figured itd be too hard for me to get good with all of fox's advanced techs so i switched to falco which im sweet at now. I also use jigglypuff cuz shes sweet, then link cuz you only really need l cancelling for him and mind games which im good at

I disperse my skills between Sheik, Yoshi, Bowser, Marth, Roy, Pikachu, sometimes Fox, maybe Falco, Mario, Peach, Jigglypuff, the Links...actually I just almost everone...except Samus because her jumps suck and she's friggin' slow. I apologoze if you like her.

I used to use Roy and Fox a lot, but when I got Falco, I neglected them, then Mewtwo came along and now all three are pretty lonely.

i was originally good with falco. i played him for about a yr. then found smash boards. my friend learned to shine spike after i told him about smash boards. after being 3 stocked 3 times in a row, i tried sheik. i was a natural.
these day im decent with: falco, fox, mario, samus, sheik, peach, captain falcon, and marth.

my order was this marth at first then it was samus and link at the same time then Ylink and then marth again and flaco and fox as a mess around inbetween all that

When I first got the game I spent all my time as Bowser and Ice-Climbers. Recently I've been a dedicated Mewtwo player. Some times I find that if I don't play for a while, I loose my abillity with any character! I then have to go back to training and get back into the flow of things.

I started out with Kirby. Then I moved on to Dr. Mario, then Roy, now Young Link. Now I'm trying to balance my skills with them (I got my butt handed to me playing as Kirby in June crying )

LMFAO yeapp when i started i used picachu then i used roy then mr.game and watch then i went bac to roy then i went to marth then i went to mario then i went to dr.mario and now im good with all except for pickachu -.-

My main character was Link but then Peach and Roy came along now im really crap with link but theres still a chance that i can change that...

I apologoze if you like her. Ah, but do you know how to bomb hop?? Grapple beam the ledge?? With the bomb hop, you can just about recover from anything. Simple really. Do a down+b in the air. Right after you drop the first bomb, drop another, and hold right (or left). Learn how to time this, and you will do a bomb hop (just like in the Metroid games! ^_^).
