“That’s it! I have had it with this hotel! I’m leaving, and I don’t care if anyone comes with!” Sendryl yelled, raising her fist in the air.
The lobby was silent, and everyone was staring at her from the other side of the room.
“…Well, actually, I do sort of care who comes with…but who’s with me?” questioned Sendryl, still the only one standing up. Her fist dropped to her side.
“Why should we leave? If we stay together, we’ll have a better chance of staying safe,” someone asked, raising their hand as if asking permission to complain.
“But that’s just the point! We haven’t stayed safe in this hotel! As far as I’m concerned, the safest place to be is everywhere else. It’ll at least make things harder for the Sniper,” came the answer from Sendryl. “
“…”
Slowly, one person stood up and walked across the room, standing behind the girl. Another person followed, and then several more. Within a minute, the room was divided into two halves; those still sitting down, and the others standing up.
“Looks like I’ve got some support, huh?” Sendyl said, smirking.
“Wait a second.” Turtle_Devil interjected, pointing at her from across the room. “How are you guys going to vote if you leave? And what about the jail?”
“…Well, the jail can just stay here. It’ll be easy, since apparently, you guys aren’t leaving. We’ll come back to vote, and if we need to get someone who has left, we’ll bring them to you to throw into prison. It’ll all work out well for everyone. Everything will be in its right place.”
The hotelgoers shrugged. There was no reason why they couldn’t leave and come back. It made no sense, but if they wanted to, they could. “Fine!” Turtle_Devil yelled. “Go! We don’t care!”
Slowly, the crowd turned and began to walk out the hallway. Sendryl smirked at the residents one last time over her shoulder before leaving, but was promptly hit in the chest with a bullet and toppled to the ground, making a sickening noise that sounded something like bones cracking.
The crowd suddenly decided to leave the hotel a bit faster, returning to their homes as soon as they could.

As was planned, the crowd returned, a few people at a time, to conduct voting. The hat system was back in use, and someone was on duty at all times, watching to make sure no cheating was taking place.
Lingui counted up the last of the votes, then ran back to the lobby anxiously, nearly tripping and dropping the hat. “The results are in, and…Turtle_Devil is going to jail!” A paper airplane sailed down on a gust of air from the top of a staircase and hit Lingui in the head. “Ow! …And apparently, Takazawa’s going to jail on behalf of the jail itself.”
Turtle_Devil and Takazawa both stood up, too exhausted to resist being tied up and thrown into the ballroom.
For some reason, this seemed to take a lot less time than it did before. They were thrown inside the ballroom, almost hastily. Everyone, including Steven, was laying down, taking a nap. “…So this is what they do in jail all day. How boring.” Takazawa commented.
“Oh, you should have been here when Steven was awake!” `Christa whispered, apparently awake.
