When the Quest System comes back online we'll talk about it here. Well... I guess you can talk about it now if you want. It's just causing major lag for the site right now, so until admins fix the problem, it won't come back.
Before they took it offline did anyone get a chance to see what it's like?

It sucked MAJOR. There was one quest. The new user one and first you have to create and save your avatar. Sounds simple. But then, you have to buy something and the lag of the site is like 2 min to load one page. So, you get really annoyed and decide to quit. Again, very very hard cause the darn site is so slow. I click skip permanently but Moira's little message telling me to create an avatar won't fricken go away! Very very very agitating.
On another note, I don't like knowing that you can get MCs off of this. I mean what I have been doing this entire time on gaia was getting items to inflate them to get more gold and now anyone can get them no hassle...well you get the picture. I think is is atrocious.

Yeah, they have been saying they'll never release them again and yet now if you do a quest they say will take a year to complete, you can get one. Note, though they didn't say which collectible. Could be the month you finish the quest you get THAT month's collectible. I could live with that.

Just found this:Fleep 9. OMG! You can't give out old M.C.'s!!!First off, we haven't - yet. Secondly, we can't mass-release old MCs. Getting them through the Quest System, if we implement it, will take a long time. A long, long time.

wow, this quest thing really annoyed me (same stuff happened to me that happened to Lana). I know it'll eventually get better, but still, it seems like Gaia REALLY needs to learn that every time it introduces a new feature on the site, it's gonna have tens of thousands of people trying to do it at the same time on the first day. They need to plan for that BEFORE they release it!

So quest system is back up. They didn't announce it, sneaky admins... ninja Probably because they didn't want another overload. It was kinda boring. But it WAS for newbies, so whatever. biggrin At least I got a couple of cheap items and some gold. Woo... stare I hope they give us a new one soon.
