This stems into many things.
I come home, and expect to be able to listen to my music.
To listen to those songs I -downloaded-, from -myspace-. Myspace, meaning I can't just go back and download them, all those profiles I've gone to have been deleted by now.
Now, we got a virus. My -sister's- fault, I'm assuming. She's the c**t-face who always ******** the computer up, she's the porn fiend.
Some ******** who doesn't know s**t about computers is the one who always comes over to fix it. This ******** came over today, and when I got on the computer, I saw that -almost- everything was gone. I checked, just to be sure... My Music. Empty.
I cried. Very much. For a long time. Then I set myself up a new I don't know what the ******** he did, but there are still random things from the way it was before still on it. My AMV Hell Zero is gone, my music is gone, -all- of it, Freddy Got Fingered, a bunch of things... But looking around the folders, I saw... "DivX...? Ashley's Barbie game...?" Why are they still there? All my s**t's gone, but -her's- is still there? All of mine that's left is V. ******** -why-?! Then my mom comes in here, and sees I have Firefox up. I re-downloaded it... She ******** freaks out, and screams at me. Tells me that guy said Firefox is why we had those ******** viruses, and for me to never use it again, and to only use IE. IE is the only thing that's safe to use, ever. I -hate- IE. I -hate- how they ******** did that, and deleted my -********- music.
My mom said she blames my ******** 'rotten attitude' on the music I listen to, and this stems back to her and Matthew's mom fighting about my taste in music... That ******** Nine Inch Nails song. "I want to ******** you like an animal." She mentioned it to my mom, and how it was my fault Matthew was such an emo b*****d, and all that s**t... My mom said she didn't know what I listened to, and then decided to find out herself. A ******** lie, she does know what I listen to, and she doesn't ******** care how bad the lyrics are... But now, when I get pissy, she always threatens to 'delete all that garbage' I listen to. Yes, I ******** understand. I see -perfectly- how ******** James Blunt, Green Day, Beethoven, Mozart, Bright Eyes, DJ Sammy, Maroon 5 -all- twist my love into hate and anger. Of course, that just makes so much ******** sense!! My anger towards you have absolutely -nothing- to do with the fact that you always ******** b***h to me about -every- little ******** thing, like how bad you always feel, and how you want your ******** pills but can't go get them, -because you feel bad-, how you're sorry about always feeling bad, but 'oh well', how you were never really a mother for me, with you always getting pilled up and sleeping, and never doing anything for me, but always expect me do things for you!!
You do nothing but lie, s**t, eat, pop pills, and b***h to me, and want me to do things for you, and if I refuse, you pull this s**t where you make -me- sound like that bad person in all of this, and how you do all kinds of s**t for me -constantly-, and how I never do anything in return, which is complete -bullshit-!!! You dumb-a** -********- whore!!
Just over-dose yourself already, and leave me the ******** alone!!!
I need to go load up the ******** guns here, go sit in my room, and wait for one of these ******** to walk in my room, so I can ******** kill them, and ******** get it over with.

Assuming you use Windows.... Your files are not gone. Your files are either in the Recycle Bin (check there!) or they have been removed from the Recycle Bin in which case they are STILL on your computer. But the path has been deleted. The files will remain on your computer untill the data gets written over. You can still get them back now, probably, since they've probably only recently been deleted. Install a File Recovery program (make sure to read the reviews on the website!) If you can, in the future you might want to purchase a USB flash memory drive. You can attach these to your keychain and store or back up your music on there. It makes it a bit more difficult for people to delete your music.

Your files are either in the Recycle Bin (check there!) or they have been removed from the Recycle Bin in which case they are STILL on your computer. But the path has been deleted. The files will remain on your computer untill the data gets written over. You can still get them back now, probably, since they've probably only recently been deleted. Install a File Recovery program (make sure to read the reviews on the website!) If you can, in the future you might want to purchase a USB flash memory drive. You can attach these to your keychain and store or back up your music on there. It makes it a bit more difficult for people to delete your music. Oh.... my.... grief.... Peeka.... you rock.... so hard. That's exactly what I suggested when we found out *tears* Even if they aren't recently deleted as long as the hard drive isn't overwritten many times over a recovery program can still pick up the small strip of data under the overwritten stips. Although I'm not certain how the OS that she is on effects how the data is deleted from the hard drive. I can supply the Flash Drive *grin* but it sucks *tear* I only have a 512 *sniffle* and I bought it back when it was $80... I think you can get a gig or more for less than that now. That's still not enough for all the music she had though ^_^ I don't know if they could even be zipped small enough to fit on just 512, haha. Being only 512mb, it would be better just to use a CD-R(W) anyway. Blah. Back to you, luv, *sniffle* You wouldn't sit with a gun without me to help would you? Yeah THAT was fun. Not. Flash drives are a lot cheaper now. Especially if you buy them at the beginning of the fall (and maybe spring?) semester of school. The community college I go offers discounts on them at the start of the school semester because so many college profs require their students to have them. Zipping down the music probably wouldn't do too much good, music's pretty compressed as is usually. A CD-RW would be good, though. Or if she has a DVD burn drive, a DVD-RW, as DVDs hold more information then CDs.

God, my mom can be a c**t-face like that too. Last time the computer got a virus I was blamed on it. The only websites I frequently used back then were ,fan-fiction.net, google, and deviantart. I never downloaded anything and yet I get blamed for it every ******** time.
Also from what I know, IE is not better against viruses. If anything it is worse.

Update: BLAH!!!
Okay. This has left even me a bit PO'ed.... She wasn't able to get on today because her phallic-faced mother's ignorance. We aren't sure when she'll be able to get online again either *sigh* The bitching about Firefox has gotten completely stupid. Her mom, who doesn't know a damn thing about computers, is trying to say that Firefox is an ISP and that using it is considered switching ISP's and charges them more...... She aquired this information from a friend of the family or something like that and someone else I believe, who aren't even certified and who I doubt have even cracked open a book about computers. She even admits to knowing jack-s**t and doesn't really trust the two people that told her but she probably won't listen to me if I try to tell her anything. I don't claim to know much about computers but I have taken a semester in hardware and software so I'm not dumb. I'm not going to bother explaining the s**t to her unless she's willing to listen or else it'll just be wasted breath. I could understand the reason for not wanting to listen to me over the other two since none of us are certified but still *sigh* Anyway, they aren't letting my little disturbed use the computer because Firefox is the cause of all the problems and she does nothing but put viruses on the computer. If she gets on the computer, it will blow the ******** up. She knows more about computers than any of the other dickwads in that house and they're trying to make -her- seem like the stupid one. I would very much so like to assist in the slitting of their throats. We shall do so with plastic butter knives after 3 days of torture. Wow, I haven't had a temper like that in a while. It feels good to vent, haha. I should probably go lay down and listen to music. I just realized. >.> I'll have had rice every night for the past 4 nights now. I just found little easy cook pouches in the cabinet with the holes in them that you just boil the bag and stuff. Haha, too easy. I still have regular bags of rice too.

Sometimes I forget how blessed I am that I have a computer all to myself (2 actually), I can barely remember when I had to share the computer but I know that it must totally suck. I'm so sorry for you. sad

I had to wait until I got some Cd's. Which I did yesterday.
I tried all of those and few worked. The ones that did only went as far as to list what was lost, but didn't do anything to help get anything back. I looked at the other, free things, and they didn't help either.
This is really ******** annoying. I tried looking for something else, but I can't find anything. Got anything else that might help Peeka?
