...for a reason?
Do you believe this? ...i think i do...
I mean look at it this way, hide-san passed away, a year later Kami-san did too, but hide-sans death couldve been prevented but it wasnt, and therefore theyre both in Heaven. ANNNNNNDD now Gackt and Yo-sama have a band togther, Yo-sama was hide-sans friend, and Kami was Gackts friend...odd?
Also, hide has a song called 'goodbye' and i also read the lyrics to 'D.O.D' and i thought....maybe he was meant to die? Maybe, if there is one, God plans out our whole lives for us? and that everything happens for a reason?
What do we think?

hmm....you seem to be talking from a predestination point of view...
The fact that the 2 are comming together and were friends with the 2 is not a huge coincidence. They're both fairly well known.
The way that I see it, the fact that hide did die at such a high point in his career, may have been what keeps his legend going. Who knows if his populairty could have taken a dive if he was still alive today. Also, I think that sometimes people read far to much into music lyrics and poems, especially after the creator dies...
I don't think that God plans out every single little itty bit of our lives, because what would be the point of trying to do anything?
I do however think that things happen for a reason, because actions do have consequences.

No i dont belive that god maps out every single thing, but i do believe in fate.
And yeah i agree with what you said about him being remembered so well because he died in his peak, and the point about Gackt and Yo-san, but it just wacked me in the face, those points, so i wondered what other people thought about it?

You know...In a way I almost think hide was meant to go. All legends die young...For people to remember only their greatest accomplishments and not fade into obscurity. He went out in a flame of light, and his name and music will live forever.

its true...but hey he will always be remembered. but there are even some jrockers that dont even know aobut him and dis X. and the onli say they like him because they dotn wanna look bad. i thik its soo f****ing poseristerz xD

Eh, it happens. It's their fault for missing out. I think it's long time fans (and the new ones, too) that help keep his music going forever. Even though he's dead, hide's music sounds more alive to me then most of the living artists. In a way, I'm sad that he had to leave so early, that I can't hear any new music from him...But, in a way, because he left so early and at the peak of his career...Of his popularity. His music will always remain bright and new...It was so great, and that's why I think he will never fade into obscurity. Hell, it's almost been a decade since he's been gone, and people are talking about him as if he never left. wink

And, anyway. I believe he'll come back...Instead of jesus...It'll be hide with jesus powers. and that day will be AWESOME! X3
