Dath'charukai had been stalking the lands for days. He was determined to find this "Love" that Reflection held so high in his heart. He had little luck, until he was able to get some sort of mumble out of a bird he came across. He got 'stripes' out of the thing before it died. Okay, god with stripes. That shouldn't be too hard, right?
Of course it was, though. The mortal realm was large enough to hide one little god, sadly. He grumbled as he kept to his hunting, even with few leads to go on.
Good thing for him that he didn't need any more leads. For shortly, he'd find himself his prey.

Not so good for his prey.
Mo'onasi had been aimlessly wandering the lands. She had left K'Anatak for a time, reasons unknown to her. Perhaps because she still didn't fully trust gods, and wasn't sure on how to take all of his kindness. Plus she was hoping to perhaps run across an old friend, or a new stranger. She always enjoyed the company of mortals.
That is, until she saw something large moving towards her. Something as in....another god. She stopped, apprehensive, her barriers shooting up. Stay away stay away...she thought.

He smirked. This just had to be here.
He slowly made his way over to where she was, acting as if it was just a casual meeting. He was decent enough at decieving, and with any luck, she wouldn't know what was going to happen until it was too late.
"Why, hello there my fellow god," he said, lined with a bit of sugar. "Strange to think that we've ran into each other in such rogue-ish, mortal lands?"
Okay, so perhaps he was trying too hard. Only with the other's reaction would he truely know. He gave her a quick, polite nod before offering her his name. "I'm Dath'charukai. Please to meet you, miss...?"
He hoped he would fill the blank with her name...and her domain.

The night would soon fall. As as many knew, Mo'onasi did not like the night. It hid too many things. It was cold. And it wasn't a time where a lady should be wandering on her own. This god seemed nice enough, though....
A crack in the barrier.
She shifted her weight a bit, a little nervous. She always was when meeting a new immortal. She just didn't have the best history with them. Her tail quickly wrapped itself around her feet, and she carefully looked up at the large god in front of her.
"I'm called Mo'onasi." She said with a soft voice. "Though I don't mind when others call me Momo."
She rarely gave out her domain with just her name. She never meant to hide it, no...she just didn't think it that big of a deal. And sometimes it was awefully embarassing too. So many questions, and demands...it was just awkward.
"N-nice to meet you...Dath." She cut off his name, hoping that he wouldn't mind. She did offer him a pet name...so she should be allowed to do the same, right?

Dath did his best to hide a growl. Damn, she didn't give out her domain. He didn't want to give his out though, just in case Reflection had warned her about him. So instead, he'd just be polite. Perhaps she'd give it up...no, she would. In due time, in due time...
"Well...Momo." He said, swallowing that assumption that he could call her Dath. He would of rather allowed her but...no going back now. "Interesting to find you here alone with night soon approaching."
He didn't know what to add. The fact that she didn't have anyone with her? But, she was a goddess...even if a little small.
He gave a little sigh, shuffled his wings a bit, and gave her another glance. She didn't look like love...but looks couldn't mean everything.

Momo blinked, a little stunned at his abrupt comment. Wasn't she allowed to do what she wanted? She was an adult, and a goddess at that. no one would harm her...would they? Certainly not. She'd never done anything to warrent harm.
"Well...y-yeah...I am. I don't always stick with friends. Sometimes they're...a little overwhelming." she said with a little blush, thinking of K'Anatak. He was certainly a little...protectful.
"Wh-why do you care, though? I can take care of myself..." she said, trying to bolster herself up again. Yeah...she could take care of herself. Besides, she'd probably fly off and find a place to sleep for the night...away from everything. Including this Dath.

Well, quite the defensive one, wasn't she? He's have to push her a little harder. Maybe...violently. Let's try one more time..he thought stubbornly.
"Aren't you ever concerned that something could happen, though?" He flexed his wings out. Since they were such a black colour, they were hard to make out in the dimming light, so all that could really identify that they where there was the sounds they made, cutting through the air.
"Not everyone respects us as they should..." he said with a twist, his eye gleaming at Mo'onasi. Yesss....not everyone did.

The way that he spoke....the gleam in his eye....Momo was uncertain on how to approach this god. He was just....he was hiding something, she could tell. Even with her lack of experience with other gods, it just creeped her out.
"S-sometimes...when I feel a little nervous," she said lightly. And she was feeling nervous now. "But I've only really had...one scary experience lately..." she drew back a bit, getting more and more unsure of this Dath as the moments passed by.
Something bad was going to happen. She just didn't know how to avoid it.

Pain.
That was all Momo thought for a split moment. The next she was on her back, feeling a bit more pain as one of Dath's claws scraped her neck. Wait...what? How did she get here? Her panic-stricket state was frozen in place, her golden-green eyes staring back into the snake-slitted eyes of Dath. She could see the rage behind them, and was scared, so scared.
"W-w-what?" She squeaked out, full of fear and confusion on what was going on. What did she do? How did she deserve this? Why?

Dath snarled at her again, getting all the more frusterated with this stupid, stupid goddess. Oh, he hoped he picked the right one, because all this stalling just drove his anger nearly over the edge.
"Tell me NOW. Are you Love, or are you not?"
He pressed his paw more tightly on the side of her neck. She's still be able to speak, but it would be hard for her to wriggle away without seriously injuring herself. Chaos was not about to let go...not when he thought he'd caught his prey. The prey that he had been searching for for a time.
Giving off another snarl, he gave her one more warning: "Tell me now, and it'll all go quicker."

Momo couldn't speak. She could barely think, barely clung onto what Dath was saying. What happened? What did she do? Momo did her best to get along with everyone...was this Dath linked to the fallen god she had come across?? Oh, she didn't know...all she could do was cry.
Her body tensed up when Dath gave her the final warning. All she could do was nod. Would he let her go? Oh, please....just let my go, she prayed. Please....I'm so scared. I'm so scared....
More tears flooded out of her beautiful eyes, her form wanting to curl into it's fetal form. She just wanted all of this to disappear, to go away....

Dath grinned, a grin that would make any soul go more then just cold. For he had indeed found his prey, and he'd make Reflection pay.
Perfect.
"Very well then, Love....it seems I've found what I've wanted." He said with a cold purr, a bit more saliva dripping onto Momo's neck. Yesss...soon he'd get back at that insult, for he never wanted anyone to know about Laana. And here, here that god...that pathetic god invaded his mind and dragged her out.
He would teach him. And the best way was through whom they loved. ANd he nearly said it himself.

Momo finally found her voice, and when it started, it poured out like when the rivers flooded. She couldn't help it.
"P-please..." she started. "Please let me go!" She wriggled, trying to get away from him. She quickly stopped when it seemed like his hold only got tighter when she fought. She wasn't going to give up yet, though.
"I haven't done anything to you!" she coughed out, tears still dripping from her cheeks. "Please, you said quickly, let me go! I don't like this..." She couldn't help but wriggle as she pleaded. Oh, what was he going to do. "Please...."
She stopped speaking suddenly, for she found that a large, black paw had been placed on her mouth. She whined now, still crying.

Dath, irritated by all the noise she was making, firmly placed one of his paws on her mouth. That'll shut her up.
He grinned at her. Oh, she certainly didn't know what was coming to her. And perhaps she wouldn't until it was over with. But in his heart, he felt that this was the best way to warn Reflection to mind his own business, and stay away from Chaos.
"Oh, but my dear, perhaps you haven't done anything," he said, cooing to her as if to calm her down, "but a dear friend of yours."
He could tell that she was confused, her mind trying to calculate just who would have done something. He laughed at her, finally getting down to business. It would dirty his paws a bit, but then, why worry about it? They would only get dirtier in the future.
He leaned over, and whispered in her ear what she was just dying to know. For he would need Reflection to get the message, and letting her know now would be the best. It would stick in that little mind of hers for all time.
"Tell your friend Reflection...that Chaos took what he wanted first."
He could barely contain his glee when he saw those olive eyes widen with knowledge. Oh yes, it'd be all she would think about for quite some time. And perhaps it would drive Reflection over the edge. Perhaps....perhaps chaos would consume his soul, and that would be another that Dath could corrupt.
Oh, how he loved being himself.
