A Divided Prelude Plot Roleplay #1
This plot RP is mainly meant to introduce the roleplayers to Caria, the world of Terra, and the Guardian/Seer relationship. So please, don't criticize me for a short intro/prompt. Mainly. . .have fun!
"The world is a place of dismal solitude and broken hope, or so the typical pessimist might say. The very existence of human thought is still in speculation; so are these emotions even true? To laugh, cry, smile, to feel pain or joy, these emotions feel very real, very substantial, and the salty tears on our cheeks feel very tangible. So who is to say emotions are true? No one but us, for if we feel them, even when others cannot, does that not make them true enough? At least for our minds? Take the courage from your heart and claim it real; you might find your trembling feet steady." -- Anonymous
Almost fifteen years had passed since the first Seers began appearing on Terra, and what had once been thought to be a strange but temporary phenomon was proven to be a new growth in society. Guardians and Seers both were common on Terra now, partners to reap souls and battle the front lines of the divine war as either Angels of Eterna or Demons of Inferna.
Where had these Seers and their Guardians first appeared from? No one knew. They were not some malign of Dieses, and even Caria herself did not know of their origins--she had not created them; still, they always chose a side: Eterna or Inferna. They battled until their life's end, and claimed souls for their side's benefit. Their power. . .was beyond either Caria's or Dieses doing.
So Caria loved them, and Dieses used them. Love or use, it does not matter. The reasons are the same. To re-create Heaven in their image and become the supreme deity of the universe. If it meant having to ride the wave of reconstruction on the back of humans, either ruler would grab the reins freely.
Caria shuffled herself into a sitting position by the lapping blue water of her seeing pool. Through it, she kept watch over all of her people, angels, Guardians, humans, Seers, and most of all, she kept watch for signs of demon attack. They had been strangely quiet lately, and that fact alone worried her. Dieses was a smart man, and she wondered what trick he had up his sleeve. The hours lulled her to sleep, slipping over into a loose fetal position next to the pool.
She awoke to the sounds of screams echoing from the pool, and she hastily glanced into its depths. She found Terra preternaturally dark . . . and filled with attacking demons. What was this? A coordinated strike against all of the angel-Guardians and their Seers? No. This wasn’t right. Demons were being attacked too! By their own kind . . . so who was leading them if not Dieses? She had to find out. In a flurry of feathers, she headed for Terra.

RP Rules and General Information
So you read the intro? Nice. Maybe you're wondering exactly what you're supposed to do? Well. . .guess what? You're being attacked!! That's right. What are you and your Guardian doing right now? Walking home? Eating dinner? Up to you. As long as you start in the city of Aremia, I don't mind. Once Caria and some NPCs hit the scene, things will spice up a bit. Have fun!
I'd really like it if you posted a short physical description or reference pic of your OC Seer in double parantheses at the top of your first post. It'll help us get an idea of the RPing, I would think. :3
Rules 1. No Godmoding! (Even if you say you aren't, if I think you are or others think you are, I will warn you, then ban you from the RP for a while if you don't listen.) 2. Each post must be a minimum of 5 lines! This equates to approximately 115 words. If it's shorter than that, think of something else, then write it up fully. Don't bother posting if you can't think. 3. Please keep it pretty moderately decent. Don't try to throw in alot of sexual stuffs or just really excessive gore. I -really- don't want to read the exact details of how John Doe's head looked as it got blown to pieces. I don'd mind some blood and such, but . . . just don't go overboard. 4. Please follow a general posting order. If someone doesn't post for a very long time (like a couple of days) then we may skip them, but at least give them a little time to put up a new reply. 5. Make sure you have read the Guardian/Seer Information in Subforum 4. It should help some of you who aren't too familiar with the Guardian/Seer relationship. 5. Please, don't solo RP! Try to keep your characters in a position where they are with or near other characters. I realize at the beginning of the RP, everyone will most likely be scattered about, but I'll make sure to get you reeled in.

((OC Seer: Name:Brian Dark, Physical Description:5'11", black spiked hair with blue tips, blue eyes. Average build. Slightly tanned skin. Guardians of Brian: Yuna)) Brian shivered. Winter was coming, that was certain. Even though it was still only early afternoon, the temperature had dropped considerably, and he shoved his hands in the pockets of his jacket. Yuna walked next to him, bundled in layers of scarved. She looked almost comical, but he kept his laughter to himself. He wondered exactly what was with angels and scarves. It was all Caria ever wore, and here Yuna was, wearing enough scarved to start her own line of specialty winter clothing. He shrugged to himself and turned to her. "Where exactly is he?" Yuna wrapped the end of her scarves around her fingers. "I am not certain. Caria just told me the street name, at 2:24 PM."Brian shifted his hands in his pockets and inspected the street again. It wasn't the best area of town, and walking alone would not be a good option if it were at night. Even now, with the sun just faintly dimming, he kept expecting someone to jump out on them. When he felt a hand land heavily on his shoulder, he spun around, tensing for battle. It was an old man, a vagrant by the looks of him, with travel stained no-color clothing and long gray hair he had somehow managed to keep swept clean out of a shadow of former dignity. A beggar? Here? It surprised him a more than a little, considering the place. Not even the homeless dared to come to this street. Brian narrowed his eyes. The man must not have been familiar with Aremia. Brian glanced at his watch. 2:23. The street was deserted other than this man, a few passing cars, and himself and Yuna. The mark had to be him. "That's a nice jacket, young sir," the man said in a gravelly voice. Brian flinched, "Is your name Joseph?" "I was once called by that name," the man replied, rubbing at his hair. "Though I'm in a little bind, you see. . ." Brian glanced back at his watch. 2:24 and the street was still empty. Except for the man standing in front of him. The man who seemed somehow more out of place now than ever. The alcoholic yellow of his eyes seemed distorted. Red. . .bleeding. He screamed, a throat wrenching grate of a screech that caused Brian to cover his ears and made Yuna twist another scarf around her head. Then he seemed to shimmer, and the distortion only worsened. What appeared after the waves of perplexion was a red-skinned demon, a thing of most human religion's nightmares. A cliche of a demon with dark hair, red skin, and hooved feet. "Too late, Seer. He's mine now," the demon sneered.

(( OC Character: Noah, Description: Young and silent, yellow eyes, silver hair, about 4 feet tall, but still only a child, pale white skin, Guardian: Jack)) Noah walked silently through the cold, his eyes covered by the silver curtain of hair on his head. His breath blew infront of him from the low temperature of the city at this time of year. Soon the streets would be white and the trees twinkling colorful lights, butt Noah didn't feel any different then usual. Winter of summer it was all the same to him, with no one but himself, there was no such thing as a holidays or celebrations. All he really had was his demon guardian Jack, but it was still to young to even speak in human tongue. During most of the times of holidays and happiness, Noah would stay inside a heated place and write his stories until he fell asleep with his pencil in his hand and his face laying on the page he had written, but this year was different for some reason "All my life this was the time I stayed alone from the fear of the increased guardians around, but now I'm out here, outside, why?" He looked down as the icy wind increased and stung his cheecks with freezing winds

((OC Seer: Blade - 5'10", long black hair that's tied back into a pony tail, red eyes this is basically itGuardians: Gambit)) Grumbling a little to himself, Blade shook his head to himself as he placed his helmet onto the handles of his motorcycle. It was starting to get too cold around here, which was one of the things he hated about being in the city. Being attuned to fire, he naturally preferred heat over chilly weather. And he really didn't have a jacket thicker than his trench coat. Shuddering, he looked around momentarily before making sure he had everything locked up. Once that was assured, he moved his sword from the bike to a part of the inside of his coat. Ever since that one battle against the demons in the park, he's been a little more wary of his surroundings. "Ya all set now?" asked a voice from behind. Gambit had just flown down and landed. "Yeah, what's the guy's name again?" "Micheal. He should show up at de corner in about..."The angel's words trailed off as he sensed something he didn't like nearby. Narrowing his eyes somewhat, he glanced around, trying to see if there were any hostiles in the area. From his line of sight, there were none. "Something up?" "Maybe. Jus' keep your guard up. I t'ink we might have some company."Nodding slowly, the thief walked out towards the corner. Now that Gambit had mentioned it, he was starting to feel that at least one other immortal was in the area. Though, that could just be his mind playing tricks on him. But at least he had healed up since that last fight..

((Keiko, 5'11, Black Short hair with a brownish tinge, 16, has a very sarcastic attitude. GUARDIAN: Lust with Envada))
Keiko stepped outside of the boat that he had. Somedays it was a very tough job to live o a whole different island then others. Lust floated down from the sky in front of Keiko. "Why do you insist about being so stuborn?" Lust looked at Keiko. "How else am I suppose to Christmas shop. Our cabin is quite boring if you havn't noticed, and I need gifts for you and the others....." "Oh please we don't need anything, we just really watch over you...." "Well I'll find something!" Keiko finished.
Envada popped out from behind Lust. "He's starting to grow quite fast, it's just that he has way too much energy." Keiko was still shocked that Lust took the feather when she found it in the city a few weeks earlier. After all it was a demon.
Keiko could see a familiar face in the distance. He started to approach the thief he briefly remembered.

(( OC Seer: Akio, 4'8", black hair, blue eyes, young and innocent. Guardian: Vincent ))
The street was empty except for two figures making their way slowly down the sidewalk. A young boy was attempting to walk in a very straight line along the edge while counting his steps, a few paces in front of an angel.
"...Akio, your scarf's undone," the angel said quietly, breaking the silence. Akio raised his head, loosing his footing and stumbling into the street.
"Aw Vincent, I was at 129..." the boy said, before hopping back onto the sidewalk. He rearranged his scarf and looked up. " I almost beat my last try..."
"Well why don't you try again?" Vincent murmured, glancing at the surrounding area. Something hadn't seem quite right ever since they started walking...

Brian's first reaction was not what he expected. He stifled laughter and convulsed in shock and fear both at once, and the mixed emotions left him feeling increasingly maddening. A demon, here, in the middle of the day! A demon who seemed picked out of Catholic theology rather than one of Dieses' minions.
Yuna hastily stepped back and pulled at Brian. They were too close to the creature sneering in front of them, but more importantly, the feeling of utter wrongness the demon gave off was making Yuna nauseous. He felt incomplete. No. That wasn't the right word. He felt un-made.
This creature was not a demon.
"Are you afraid of me, Guardian?" the creature jeered, raising a hand and pressing his forefinger's claw into his thumb. He drew a dot of blood and flicked it at Brian. "I am not of your species, scum, so you fear me. I am not of any human, angel, or demon."
Brian flinched as the blood splattered against his cheek, and the maddening feeling increased. He doubled over, laughing hysterically, but his stomach churned to the point of wretching. Just as he was about to break, he gasped and staggered back, staring at the creature before them in awe.
His presence was insane, and his blood, just a flick, had sent Brian reeling. Yuna steadied her Seer and grit her teeth. They would have to fight, and if they didn't want to be driven mad, it would have to be a careful battle. A bloodless battle.

Frowning somewhat as the strange presense they felt seemed to grow, Blade glanced over at Gambit with a look of uncertainty. There was just something about this that didn't quite feel right. The guardian apparantly thought the same.
"Hm.. I'm gonna fly up real quick. See what's goin' on around 'ere. Ya go 'head 'n do your job."
Nodding, Blade went ahead and walked towards the corner while the angel took flight.
Once in the air, Gambit flew around, scanning for any odd sights. Or for any immortals; whichever one happened to be nearby. And it wasn't too long before he spotted something strange down below, near two familiar faces. He saw Brian stagger back, and that told him that the... thing they were facing wasn't an ally.
Narrowing his eyes at this, he decided on what he should do at the moment. He needed to grab his seer, but he also didn't want to leave the scene in case something happened to either Yuna or Brian. A second later, he simply grabbed a few cards and sent them flying down towards the demon-like creature, ready to explode upon contact. Right after he did this, he flew off to find his seer.
The thief hadn't even met up with their 'target' when Gambit came zipping by. With a semi-confused look, he looked around to try to see why the angel had returned so quickly.
"Something up?"
"Trouble, wat else? Anyway, Yuna's involved, so we better 'elp her out. Can't let de lady get 'urt 'gain right?"
Blade raised an eyebrow as Gambit didn't really mention Brian at all, but he could guess that the guy was in the area as well.

Noah continued to walk around the cold, but then noticed his guardian started to float ahead and hovered off "Jack wait!" He followed after the floating dust guardian, bumping into randoms trangers and slipping on the wet ground a few times until he ended up catching up to him in front of a event, but he noticed that angel looked the same. He pulled Jack away and looked at the two silently, wondering what exactly was going That angel, have I seen here before and what as the being on the other side, it's not recorded in any of my books?

A sudden feeling caused Vincent to stop in his tracks. It took a moment before Akio realized his guardian had stopped walking. The boy turned around and gave Vincent a curious glance.
"What's the matter?" he called.
"...I'm not sure. Stay here, don't move." With a quick flap of his wings, the angel took flight and soared over the buildings. Akio blinked for a moment before obediently taking a seat on the sidewalk curb and sticking his hands in his pockets.
Vincent sweeped over the area as he focused his senses on anything seemingly out of place. Almost immediately, his red eyes noticed movement down a parallel street. The angel flew closer, trying to make out the figures. He recognized another angel, a man, and...
He took a sharp intake of breath. What the hell is that...?

Keiko looked across the street. He saw a strange person with blue hair tipped with black. "It would appear that this is the kinda trouble I have been feeling." Lust made sure she had a clear veiw of the Demonic inhabitant. Slowly her arm lifted and pointed at the intruder. Envada flutterd behind Lust trying not to watch. With the blink of an eye, Lusts's finger shot forward, wouding the creature in the leg. Lust and Keiko started to approach.

((Lloyd, Keiko, the post length minimum is five lines. It isn't that demanding at all, so please comply to that. If you cannot think up of that much to write for whatever reason, please hold off on posting until you can do so.
And don't say that you didn't know, because it's rule number two in this thread.))

((Who said this is Ami? Or Blade for that matter..
Anyway, you must have 800x600 resolution because I see about three or four lines, not six. This can be a bit of a problem...
Well after hoping onto Word quickly, I found that five lines comes to around 115 words. So if you have a low screen resolution, please go by that instead.))
