gonk gonk
im truely terrified.
what happened:
a few weeks ago a chick ran up to me and took a picture of my pants [my favorite ones that i had drawn all over with peace signs and a flag and my morals and beliefs] and before i could object, she ran off with her camera like it was no big deal. my first thought was im flattered. the second was something along the lines of "s**t! this better not end up in some department store!"
now, today i tagged along with my mother and we stopped by Kohls. we were walking inside, and i walk over to the juniors department to fufill my subculture clothing needs, and there they ******** are! pants just like mine. about thirty copies. of me. my own origonality and personality and ART was on sale for $20!!!!
what the hell?!!!
dont i have some rights about that or something?!

Yes, you do have rights for that.She should have asked you first, and told you what she was going to do.WHat you need to do is tell the manager the story, and that you were basically robbed of your own style.

They wouldnt do that to mine with all the stiching and shoddy art on mine and the old fraying patches.... I wear these jeans way too much XD (my only worn pair for over a year XD).... plus you got a pic of yours / the ones in the store???

Thats very ileagle. You MUST write a letter to the compony Kohls because that is your design. You also need to tell the person that you made those pants; and that you need to take credit for it. I'm very sorry for what happened. I also saw those pants. They are very cute. I wanted to buy them but I just edited this so.... Again, I'm very sorry for what happened.

So wait, these pants are identical? Or do they just have a bunch of peace signs and say love and peace on them? Because that's basically just like skulls, smile faces, roses, ect. I'd still write a letter if they were basically identical, but otherwise its not like you could do anything. No body owns the peace symbol, no matter how ironic it is to sell peace.

that really sux! i feel for you! but, to be perfectly honest... i dont think you can do anything about it. you could write a letter. you could talk to the manager. you could sue the company. but, unfortunatly, all you have is your story of hear say. did you happen to copywrite you pants? if so, then you have proof and can do something about it. but, if you dont, then whos to say that you saw the pants in the store and you made up a story. (im NOT saying that you did make the story up btw. im on your side) how about you look at it from a different point of view. maybe you should be flattered. you made a new tred in fasion! maybe you could design cloths or something?

That is really awful. Even if you write a letter, (which you should anyways) they will probably blow you off and some crazy person. :[
