This isn't a very important or urgent matter, but I thought I'd bring it to the table:
As of right now in the world of Gaia, no one - not even the creator of a guild - can access the gold that is donated to the guild. It's just...sitting there. ^_^; So you do have a choice. You can, when donating, send the gold to me, which would make things a lot easier. I know, you may be weary of me stealing it or using it on items, and with all the scams these days, I don't blame you. But when it comes to contests and such, because I can't acces the donated gold, I end up shelling it out of my personal account. So redirection of the donations would be helpful, but I do understand if you'd rather be safe.
I thought I would just...throw this tidbit out there. ^_^; Make of it what you'd like.

maybe you could make a mule account for the donation gold.

Has it always been like this or is this just some kinda bug they've got going on on top of the other 3 million ones? Cus it makes no f'ing sence!
Why allow people to donate if the gold can't be touched afterwards? They should disable it if the gold is just going to become useless. It's stuff like this that there is starting such a massive inflation on rare items.

i honestly don't see the difference between sending it to the guild and to dispatch... she owns the guild so she has access to all of what we send anyway... well... in theory... if that feature actually worked...

The feature has never worked - I believe it's one of the projects they've been working on for a long time.
I've been thinking, to keep everything straight, we could have a thread to keep track of donations like we did in the old guild (for anyone who was there). It could be a contest or something - whatever you donate to the guild, whether you send it to the guild or to me, would count. That way I'll be able to keep track of who donated what even when they don't send it to the guild.
And I like the mule account idea!

But just a question, how exactly does the donation work? Is it just like donating to Gaia except with Gold? I ish confooz'd.

You need a trading pass, I believe, which costs 1000g. Then go to the bank and simply create a new trade.

I'm pretty sure trading passes only cost 500gold.
