Newt had found a deliciously muddy bank along the river some distance from the lake, and had lay himself down in it on his belly. It was amazing how delicious it felt, warm and wet. It had just enough sand from being so close to the beach that it was loose enough to sink down to where his chin would have been if his neck hadn't swallowed it in pudge. His swimtrunks lay up on the cleaner, grass and foliage covered bank out of the way. He couldn't deny he felt rather froggish, but it was comfortable and relaxing and he felt he deserved something relaxing.

Marshall trudged along the enbankment, wearing his swim-trunks and carrying a towel over his shoulder. For some reason, he NEEDED a swim, even if it was mid-November. He figured it had some thing to do with his latest change. A Penguin of all things! He looked down at his stomach with a sigh. Yep; He had put on some weight, just to add to the embarassment of it all.
The annoyed penguin-man continued to walk down the embankment, grumbling to himself about the whole situation. That was until he saw a pair of bland-looking swim trunks lying on the grass next to a dryed up portion of the river.
"...?"

Newt had fallen asleep in the mud, his round, froggish but ultimately large and obvious speckled and striped back not too far from where the penguin-boy had come by. "M's-s-sorry 'Da..." He mumbled.

Marshall picked up the pair of swim trunks, cocking his head to the side, confused as to why they were here. He let out a small chuckle, as they were covered in silly cartoon frogs for some reason.
"M's-s-sorry 'Da..." went the small mud-pit next to Marshall. He slowly stepped towards the edge, swim-trunks in hand, as he looked down; greeted with a large frog creature. Now, if this was any where else he'd run away screaming. But since he'd escorted a talking Lizard to halloween, was insulted by a dragon, and got high with a fish? A sleeping frog wasn't that shocking.
"Um...Excuse me!" Marshall called down to him, not sure if he was asleep or not.

Newt snorted with a frightened croak, glancing around in suprised terror befor he spotted the penguin-man and squeeked, sinking deeper into the mud to try to hide his bare rear, "I... I... I'm s-sorry! I d-didn't s-see anyone and w-was j-just-! Ah... I... I w-wo-woo-woo-was j-just-!!"

"H-Hey! Calm down, calm down! Ummm...You left your Shorts up here y'know. If you're going to go Skinny Dipping you should at least learn to hide 'em better...I mean, if I wasn't so nice I might've just stolen 'em or some thing." Marshall said, getting to his knees, holding the shorts out towards the rather (no pun intended) jumpy man.
"My name's Marshall, by the way."

Newt ribbited again nerviously befor reaching out a trembling webbed hand to snatch them back, "Ah... ah... I... I d-didn't think anyone w-would... w-would have w-wandered d-down this way, I sup-suppose..." His face was flushed, but it was easier to ignore his embarassment at his new shape when the man with his trunks seemed so changed as well.

"Makes sense. I'm only out here 'cause I really wanted a swim, but the beach is too warm. Which is weird since its November and junk..." Marshall rambled, looking down at the frog man, who was obviously embarassed.
"So, whats your name?" he asked, keeping the question 'What are you doing in a mud pit' in his throat.

Newt pulled the trunks deep into the mud to try to wriggle into them without flashing the poor innocent penguin, but his floppy feet sent splotches of mud flying through hte air as he tried to move. "Ah... N-newton..." He managed weakly.

"Newton?" Marshall said, trying to understand despite the man's apparent stutter. "Well, nice to meet ya, Newt." Marshall said, shortening the man's name with out permission (a bad habit he seemed to have picked up recently.)
"Hey, if you're not too busy in the mud, wanna come join me?" Marshall asked, feeling like he owed the man for interupting his relaxation time.

"Ah... er... j-join you?" Newt blinked up at him bashfully as he tugged his trunks up as high as he could, concidering his now round belly. "J-join you w-where, Mr... er...?"

"Its Marshall." the penguin man repeated, "And join me for a swim, up the river? Where there's like...Water and stuff?" Marshall said with a small smile, slightly confused as to why the man was so nervous.
"Though if you rather just relax in the mud I can't blame ya...People pay big money for that now a days." Marshall joked.

"N-no.. I... sh-should p-probably be d-due for a... a g-good soaking..." He swallowed, hesitating a moment befor he lept from the mud to the shore beside Marshall with a decent leap. "Ah... th-thank you f-for inviting me, M-mr. M-marshall..." He managed shyly.

Marshall's eyes widened as Newt made the giant leap in one bound. "...Woah! That was awesome!" he said, obviously impressed by the man's jump. Even though he should've figured that people with certain transformations should get certain atributes of their creatures, he'd never actually seen one in action like that.
"And dude," he said with a small laugh, "You can just call me Marshall, alright? Mar-shall. No Mister in it."
