Four more people quietly exited the hotel, and they did not look back. Oddly enough, while they had contacted their destinations, noting that they were returning from vacation, they never actually made it there. No one knew why.

InternalHardDrive shut the door behind her and threw the key downward, into the fountain. She wasn’t going to come back. By now, she was fed up with this hotel and all of the people who were still inside. Why didn’t they just leave, like she was about to do?
It’d probably be the best way to get away from the Sniper, and besides, the hotel was beginning to get awfully decrepit. The combination of panicked residents and no staff was taking its toll on the building.

IHD didn’t even care about her luggage anymore. As she exited her room and traversed the hallway back to the lobby area, she passed by the statue of the black swan, reminding her of the event that had transpired here a few nights ago. She turned her head away from it. It wasn’t something she wanted to remember, but…she couldn’t stop thinking about it.

Her eyes caught a glance of the pool outside the hotel. A bit of water would do to clear her head.

The door slid shut behind her, leaving her out on the patio, next to the pool. Without a moment’s hesitation, she dived in and swam a few laps around, her jacket and clothing now soaking wet. It didn’t matter. She wouldn’t be here much longer, and it rained all night anyway. At least, that's how it had been for the past few days.

From somewhere on top of the hotel, a rifle was fired, and the bullet shot into the water next to IHD. She panicked, but this time, there was no one to protect her.

The second shot made contact, and her limp body sunk to the bottom of the pool.

Voting continued as planned, and Bellecat and Insomnesiac were both thrown into the jail, after tallying the results. They quickly joined the crowd of people in the corner, huddled away from Steven. Steven was, naturally, still sick to his (or her) stomachs.
