She was muttering to herself. Condemning and damning the world to hell. She was peering into a small pool of water, she needed water constantly to sooth her aching heart. Not only from torment of her memories and nightmares, but because her heart beat at an unsteady pace, one might even say her heart had been broken since birth.
Mortal world here, in the roguelands, such territory barren from more trees and underbrush. She was lucky enough to find this pool of water under the shade of a tree. Her tail was flicking back and forth, wings spread out as she was almost completely sprawled out on the ground. Just looking at her reflection, her eyes, what she was.
She hated what she saw.
Ryu'Rage suppressed the darkness within, stifled a growl. Such chaos and torment within her frame, within her being and entire soul. She was tormented day by day it seems, when would she get a break? Who would understand her?

Chaos had found his way alone, as usually, roaming the lands. There really wasn't anything out here for him to bother with, and such, didn't pay much attention to what even could be out here.
But, when you're roaming lands that were mainly brown, it was hard to not noticed something that was say....overwhelmingly black.
And so that was how he found his new little entertainment. A sulking little goddess that didn't seem to amount much to anything. He swallowed a spat, and casually padded up to the same little pool of water, staring back at her through the reflection. His golden snake-slitted eyes casting a cool glance at her.
"Well well, sulking in a pool of water. So common for females, but only of the mortal kind."

She felt something near, then saw a pair of golden eyes look into hers within the reflection of the water. She felt a surge of darkness in her, she closed her maw, kept the growls inside, restrained her muscles from moving to oppose the crimson pelted stranger.
"You have no right to talk that way with one such as myself stranger, no matter how mighty you may believe yourself to be," her silver orbs raised to meet his, they were narrowed, angry. Another surge, she bit her lip for a moment, then stopped, was he trying to egg her on? Did he not know what she was, was he THAT blind? He didn't even know who..let alone what he was dealing with.
"You do not know what I am doing, or what I am thinking, and for such an assumption upon my being I do hope you mind your tongue now stranger..." her eyes traveled to that of the horn atop his brow. Pfft, she could make a crude joke to his face but would restrain herself for the time being.
"What should I call you stranger? Have a name?"

Dath wasn't intimidated by her show of hidden rage. Infact, he was more humored by it then anything. He drew himself back, reclining on his hindlegs, his midnight-black wings seemingly hovering around his shape. He gave her a little nose before turning his attention back to her.
"Whoever said that I was mighty to you? All I say is that you seem to be sulking like a mortal. Gods should be above that." He said coldly. Nevermind the fact that his heart was tainted with mortal emotions themselves, and he himself would sulk like that.
"Chaos is what I am known as, goddess, but the mortals call me Dath'charukai. One who claws the heart." He said without much emotion. "Though I am sure the mortals have a name for you, hm?"

Rage's eyes were no longer narrowed as they were, but still a rather cautious look in her eye of this one. Chaos? How...interesting, to say the least. Was she just magnetic towards meeting immortals now? Her tail flicked to the side, she pulled her wings closer in. A grin of sorts upon her maw. This was as close as a smile ever got for her, she had forgotten how to smile in reality.
"Chaos then? Or what would you prefer? Dath or Chaos hmm?" she asked, mimicking his own tone. She crossed her paws in front of her, the red tribal tattoos standing out against the blackness of her pelt.
"Mortals? Mortals and immortals alike know my name, Ryu'Rage, some shorten it to rage, of which is my domain." Though she figured he already knew that. "So tell me god, why wander amongst the lands of mortals when you seem to despise them so hmm?" She hated some mortals too in fact, mortals an immortals alike if they were anything like the shadows of that day. Those silhouettes burned into her memory.

Ohoho, this would bring some amusement indeed. She seemed easy to rile up, and so he would do so, albeit lightly.
"Well, Rage, I should turn your words around on you. Don't assume that I despise mortals. I find them something fun to toy with every once in a while."
He then kept quiet, his large body easily overshadowing hers. He held no bitterness against her, just slight humor in her actions. He flexed his black paws, watching this Ryu'rage carefully. He would certainly not tolerate it if she did anything against him, though.
"And you may call me whatever you would like, goddess." He gave a slight sneer. She could pick herself, couldn't see?

She frowned at him, narrowed her eyes, he was acting to strange, yet his actions were compelling her to act differently, darker, she tried to resist the temptation. Rage flicked her tail to the side, first he used her domain as her name, then just referred to her as goddess. Quite strange he was.
"If I was where you were Dath, I would be cautious of my words," she raised a paw, black claws gleaming in the remaining lights of the sun. "I am not known to control myself very well," her silver eyes met his again, and she grinned a fang-fulled grin.
This would be interesting indeed.
"Toying with others just because of amusement is not the best idea sometimes you know, sometimes the hidden part of themselves' becomes angry, and that is a beast some cannot control, even the soul that is condemned by such a thing."

Dath couldn't help but let his tongue slip out of his mouth as he gave a quick lick to his lips. She was quite fun indeed.
"Oh? And why should I watch that? Rage may not control herself well, but who ever said that Chaos was, too?" he smirked, trying to imply that both of them were unknown energies, just waiting to burst at any moment. Sometimes he loved his inability to control himself, like now. His mood changed like the wind's directions.
"And mortals are there to toy with. Such easy creatures to break." He said with a slight yawn. "Though I do not do it often, or else there would be none to play with. Then where would I be? Bored to tears, for other immortals are so much harder to mess with..." he gave another smirk before letting it drop. See how she took that.

So, he could not control himself completely either? Well, that made it more interesting. Rage stood up and stretched her forelegs, extended her wings and pulled them back in, tail flicking to the side. She was feeling the chains loosen, they were falling, cracking with each word he was saying, everything he was implying.
So, he believed he could toy with mortals yes? Who said he would be able to toy with an immortal, and be able to control the raging fire within her heart.
Rage strode over to him, encircled him, every time her eyes went before his she stared, oh yes how this would be interesting. Her wings gently grazing against his side every few moments, "So you think you can play tough hmm? Think you can handle a dark beast eh Dath? I'd like to see you try, you have no idea what fuels me..."

Dath calmly ignored her taunts, closing his eyes and letting her do and say what she wanted. He wasn't going to pick a fight. Even if she was a female, and smaller, she was still female, and who knew what gods there were that were on his side. He didn't have any on his side, but not like he wanted any.
"Who said I ever knew what fueled you? Or cared? I am only merely trying to gain information out of you, since you accused me of being ignorant. And thus, fixing what you said my fault was. Is there so much as an error in that? Or....?" He let the words float off, keeping his eyes closed. He was showing, in a way, that he trusted her, and if she did lash out at him, he didn't provoke her in any way. Well, physically. Emotionally and mentally, perhaps.
But it was all a game to him. Everything was. There was always the fun, unknown factor of his own emotions in tow.

She heard his words but they weren't registering in her mind. Darkness was flooding it, hidden desires were trying to take over though some restraint was kept. He would not care about what fueled her, no one seemed to understand actually. That was what drove her to the brink of darkness sometimes, the nightmares tormenting her, and no one seeming to care.
Rage kept circling him, brushing up against him, so he closed his eyes? "Brave you are, I see it now, to close your eyes now, tell me Dath, does Rage drive Chaos sometimes? Or do they mix together and become one in an instant hmm?" she asked with a smirk, the lighter half of her was trying to hold back.
For too long she had not known what it was like...to feel like one...with herself that is, and the other too but...well, her mind was reeling around, trying to stay controlled.
"Do you enjoy the feeling ever Dath? Rage, the emotion? Or do you dislike emotions as I do sometimes?"

Dath was mildly irritated that she kept bumping into him. Physical contact was okay, but only when he initiated it. Otherwise, it pissed him off...
He calmly opened his eyes, the pupils flaring for a moment before shrinking back from the daytime light. "Chaos and Rage are part of a whole, simply put. It's hard to have one without the other." He shifted his head a bit to look at her....before slowly shifting his head back. Calm as could be...besides her brushing against him once in a while.
"And emotions are a mortal thing, a stain on a God's heart. I will admit I'm guilty of carrying such a black stain."

She smirked at him, circling him still. It gave the darker half of her a sense of pride knowing she was sort of in control of this situation, even when she could not be. Rage's tail flicked back adn forth, no longer her wings brushing up against his side, but her side brushing against his, no wings in between them.
She grinned.
"Perhaps then there is utter Chaos within me as well, I do believe it to be so now that I think of such a thing. Perhaps emotions are stains, if so, I am purely tainted by them unfortunately, cannot escape from emotions or myself I'm afraid."
Rage stopped right in front of him, back arched, head turned, silver eyes gleaming, she was grinning, "So tell me then Dath, which do you think can control and mask the other beneath itself hmm? Chaos or Rage?"

He wasn't so inclined to lash out at her now, since she cut back on the physical touching. But the pacing was just making him nearly itchy with irritation. Just why was she doing that? It made her seem impatient, irrational....and just immature. In his golden eyes, at least.
"Emotions can be wiped clean from the heart, but it seems much harder then I initially thought." He started carefully. Best not to say too much....he snorted at her statement. Well, a little flirtatious when she was angry, now, wasn't she? Strange indeed. Most females would feel a little differently when they were mad.
He paid attetion to her when she suddenly stopped in front of her. He suppressed a grin back at her when she asked her request. It seemed like a request to him, anyway.
"Quite the question you've got there. Rage fuels it, as Chaos can also. An uncontrollable feeling, and urge to do something different, dangerous, lethal. Who says that one must dominate the other, but that they cannot work together? Fulfill more desires that way, perhaps." He quirked a brow at her, interested to hear her reply to what he had to say.

Rage noticed he seemed to be holding back, as she was as well. How interesting, they both had uncontrollable parts of themselves, it made her wonder. If she ever lost control totally, would he be able to control her? Make her stop? Or would he try to use her like a toy? Oh the questions and possibilities that ran through her mind.
"I doubt I can ever wipe an emotion from my being, too much of a contest and challenge really, confrontations from within, one wants something, the other does not, a true pity it is when a heart yearns for something it had yet to experience, don't you agree Dath?" Rage asked, smirking at him, tail curled behind her.
She took a step closer to him now, watched him carefully, eyes gleaming, "I have never known of Rage and Chaos working together...what do you think it could achieve Dath? If working together, the push and pull of both against each other...what would come of it?"
