Chapter 1: Origins of Ogami
"We need 10CC's of Anesthesia, STAT" exclaimed the doctor.
"Coming UP." responded the nurse slowly filling up the syringe with Anesthesia.
"Her vitals are dropping at a rapid rate! Her heart beat is above normal! She’s not going to make it!"
"Save my child, I want him to live a better life." shouted the woman giving birth.
Hours pass, the situation repeating itself. The father of the child was looking out the window as this was happening, wondering if it was a boy or a girl. He then heard a loud scream, then utter silence.
The doctor slowly walks out of the room and explains the situation. The woman, being his wife passed away giving birth to a baby boy, she said to let her child live and sacrifice herself to give her baby a better life than what she had lived. The father understood her decision.
"Would you like to see your new son?" asked the doctor, "he’s already washed up and sleeping quietly."
"Yes, please." replied the father.
They both walk into the room, the new father gazes upon his son.
"What shall you name him?" questioned the doctor.
Suddenly an eerie wolf howl is heard throughout the entire hospital. The child wakes up and starts to laugh and giggle.
"I shall name him...Ogami."
"Alright students, time to practice your Transformation Justus." said the teacher of the Grass ninja academy. "Everyone form a line and show me what you can do!"
6 years have passed since Ogami's birth; his father died shortly after his 3rd birthday, his death was never explained. He has lived with the Teacher of the Ninja Academy ever since.
As the students lined up, Ogami was the last one in line; one by one they showed their best transformation. When it was Ogami's turn he turned into a perfect wolf, the teacher and the students were amazed how he could pull this off at such a young age.
"Alright class time for a 25 minute recess," announced the Teacher.
All the children ran outside to play and practice their techniques. Ogami strayed from the rest and sat down underneath a tree. He sat there until some more Academy students came by and started to talk to him.
"Hey do you want to play with us?" asked one of them
Ogami lied silent, ignoring them.
"Are you ok? Are you deaf?" asked another one
Ogami still stood silent.
"He’s just mad because he killed his mother and his father died because he wasn’t the child he wanted." said another in an insulting manner.
Ogami then began to stand up and start to cry, as he does not like anyone to talk about his parents that way.
"Sir, there is one thing we haven’t shown you yet." Said the doctor, with a grim look on his face
"What is it? Is something wrong with him?" replied Ogami's father shockingly.
"His birthmark, it's a bit unusual"
"What’s wrong with it?"
"It...resembles a wolf fang"
"What’s wrong with that?"
"There’s nothing wrong with it, I just don’t feel comfortable how his birthmark is almost a perfect shape of a wolf fang, or how he woke up because of a wolf howl, it means something"
"It's probably nothing to worry about"
"Hey what’s wrong with you? Is Ogami going to cry like a little baby?"
Ogami then starts to grab his stomach as if he was about ready to throw up, then he cries out in pain as his entire physical structure begins to mutate. The students stop what they are doing and watch as Ogami begins to transform into a much stronger form.
"DONT...EVER...TALK...ABOUT...MY...PARENTS...LIKE...THAT!!!" he cries out, and then what stood in his place is a creature that resembles half a man and half a wolf.
The new Ogami lets out a howl and begins to kill the students who taunted him. He then sets his terrifying gaze on those who are watching, unable to control his animalistic instincts, he rushes t them and begins to slaughter every one of them, devouring them when necessary.
"Alright kids time to..." said the teacher, but it was too late. All that was left of the students were a bloody mess.
Hearing what the teacher said, Ogami perked his ears and slowly turned his head and his blood encrusted claws to his own teacher’s stomach.
"Hand off him, you cur" said a voice behind him.
He quickly turned his head and looked into the mask of a Grass ANBU Agent. Then another ANBU agent appeared, in a split second there were several ANBU members around him.
Ogami still standing there with his Sensei’s body in his hand threw him aside. He Stood up straight and Let out another howl, just as the ANBU were rushing him.
The ANBU's attack utterly failed. The howl Ogami let out caused their bodies to become paralyzed with a fear like no other, they couldn’t move a muscle, and Birds fell out of the sky, dead. Ogami then began to flee, knowing that even his own strength wasn’t enough to kill ANBU members all together. But the ANBU quickly snapped back into reality and began to chase him.
"Send Word to the Tsuchikage we got a demon loose." cried an ANBU member.
Three ANBU quickly left the rest of the group, while the rest continued on their pursuit of Ogami. They found him standing quietly on top of a local house.
“Tsuchikage!” an ANBU member said.
“What is it? Why are you exhausted?”
“There’s a demon loose in the village. We thought you should see it before we took care of it.”
“Fine, show me the way.” The Tsuchikage said as he put on armor.
When they finally arrived at the scene, all that was left of the ANBU were their masks, and spots of blood here and there. Ogami was standing away from them finishing off the last one with his teeth. His ears perked and he quickly turned around, ripping the ANBU’s throat out in the process.
“My, my, this one will be a fun fight.” said the Tsuchikage, with a confident look on his face.
Ogami rushes at the Tsuchikage, with claws gleaming and eyes burning red.
“Earth Style: Earth Shore Return” said the Kage.
A huge stone wall appeared in front of him and blocked Ogami’s attack, barely. His claws went through the wall and pierced the Kage’s armor into his abdominal region. Ogami then pulled his hand out and continued his attack, swiping and gnashing at the Kage, but all attack missed, as he was only attacking a Shadow Clone.
“Earth Release Barrier: Dungeon Chamber of Nothingness.” A huge sphere of earth surrounded Ogami, trapping him inside. “This should hold him until more ninja can arrive.” said the Tsuchikage with a smug look on his face.
From inside the dome, he heard a howl so powerful, it pierced the barrier and causing his concentration to break. He lost the dome and Ogami leaped through his earthen prison and landed on top of him.
“It seems I may have to use It.” thought the Tsuchikage with a hint of desperation.
Ogami still wildly attacking him was thinking of a way to finish this battle off quickly. He leaped up and did a false movement to trick his target into thinking he was going to drop on him. His bluff worked. The Tsuchikage fell for his movement. Ogami ended up landing behind him and quickly began to slash and shred the Kage’s back with claws and fang.
After Ogami’s relentless attack, the Tsuchikage used his chakra to form rocks out of the minerals in the air and launched them at Ogami. Ogami dodged them all with ease, but he wasn’t paying attention to the Real Kage who was behind him.
“Forbidden Sealing Jutsu: 45 Point Seal!” exclaimed the Tsuchikage. He rushed at Ogami and quickly slammed his Birthmark with multiple strikes to his back.
Ogami howled out in pain as he began to change back into a 6 year old child. But it wasn’t completely successful; he was still blinded by rage and still retained wolf-like traits.
Exhausted the Tsuchikage used the jutsu again. This time around the seal he had already created. Ogami let loose another monstrous howl. The sealing still didn’t work. Although he looked human his movements and thought process still retained wolf-like attributes. The weakened and exhausted Tsuchikage used the jutsu again. His movements were slower this time as the sealing took an enormous amount of chakra. He was prepared to use it again, but this time the seal worked. He immediately recognized the boy. He knew of Ogami’s tragedy, his mother dying during child birth, and his father dying of an illness.
But now Ogami had no where to go. The Tsuchikage, aware that the seal was a permanent seal, picked the boy up and took him to the hospital. As he was walking there, he thought about his future, who would raise him? How will he turn out to be when he grows up? Will he remember the events that took place this day? These questions the Tsuchikage thought about as he tended his own wounds within the hospital, where Ogami’s mother had died.
