The Lady Knight Gwyndara found herself alone in the salle, so she decided to take a moment for some kata exercises she had learned from a far. She moved in fluid graceful motions, extending her arms up, then down and to the side, slow and steady movements, while meditating. It was very relaxing.

Marcus came from the exterior courtyard of the main keep, and came in upon notice. He picked up a fencing mask along the way, which covered his face. His protruding spines stretched out as if they had been held back forever. When he picked up his elegant wakizashi, the blade made a hissing sound as it left the blade's hilt.
He aimed for the large wooden target before him and began to strike it deftly. While for the most part he seemed to miss when he was striking, when he turned, the wooden target fell to pieces before his feet. He put the wakizashi back into his hilt and moved onto the next target, this time drawing a claymore from his back. The blade made no sound, which was odd for such a heavy and dense weapon such as a claymore.
Instead of striking deftly like he had with the shorter blade, his hacks were visibly deadly, leaving a blazing scorch across the neck of the dummy. This continued for hours with two more blades, as he practiced different styles and stances upon the wooden practice dolls.
When he was done, he set his blades back into their hilts and sat down by the exit. His body still seemed cool to the touch, and his eyes were closed as he drank the water from a canteen.

The sounds of practice made Gwydara happy. It mattered not to her how many practice dummy's that had to be replaced. When her knights practiced it meant that she wouldn't have to be replacing them anytime soon.
she finished her kata and then began to use her katana practicing the motions of fighting an invisible apponent.

While his first eyelid was closed, he could clearly see around him, though no one could perceive such a vision except another species that had the same trait or another draconian. He saw the Captain out of the periphery of his vision, but did pay her much attention at first. He drank his water and stashed the canteen after his thirst was quenched and stood up slowly and in a languid manner, much like a slithering snake.
Marcus looked at his spine, which trilled with excitement for a new opponent. He picked up his katana and drew it, and it filled the room with an almost musical set of notes as it left its hilt. When the light from the sun hit the side of the blade, it had gleamed and glimmered like the scales of a dragon. "Would you like to spar?"

Gwyndara grinned "Love to." she answerd.

"I shall allow you a choice of the weapons we will spar with." Marcus bowed in a gentleman-like manner, one arm in the front, and the other on his back. "You may also choose your terms of victory."

"The Katana, and first blood." she said with a returning bow. then she took a ready stance, waiting for his first move.
(( I'm really not good at sapring, I have a lot to learn. And I'm doing about 4 different things at once, so my responses are a bit slow. ))

"Very well. Then it shall be my Katana against yours, and the first to draw blood." Marcus drew up his blade and shifted into the dragon stance, holding his free arm defensively and his armed hand offensively. In an instant, he began to circle around the Captain, and kept an even distance as he did so.
((that's fine, I SHOULD be working right now, but I'm here instead))

She carefully followed him step for step. The excitement filled her battle trained reflexes and her adrenaline began to flow as it always did when she was about to fight.

His circling became faster and faster, it seemed as though he were everywhere in the path he had created. His body stance was the same as he had shifted about. His glowing yellow eyes created a stream of brilliant light that added to the confusion.

Gwyndara stoped from the swirling. and set herself so as to not become dizzy.

From the speed of his movement, he had created almost a vision of multiple copies of himself. He had started to spiral in towards her from behinc and his weapon was now drawn.

Marcus charged his katana out, extending it like a lance for a pierce. His other arm was still free.
