Claimed to be? She was a lady, of sorts. Oh she would show Ra, just he wait!
She chuckled as they entered the pridelands. It was a place she had heard stories about and through them she had learnt to hate the place and the lions in it but right now she couldn't care less. Her knight in red shining armour was about to get her dinner.
The two lions didn't look directly like Firekins, one being white the other black but there were always the signs, the red, the markings, the size and way they held themselves, or at least Ny did. Even when being playful she held herself tall and strong. She had trained and trained to become a growing fighting girl and though a rubbish hunter she could fight when needed, thats all mattered to her.
She would fight the black boy next to her one day....

Ra enjoyed the grass underfoot as they made their way into the pridelands, scenting the prey that seemed to flourish all around, he loved hunting here, compared to the harsh desert, the creatures here were relatively complacent, happily grazing, unaware of incoming death.
He too carried himself like a true firekin, that obvious confidence that seemed to come off him in waves and his sheer size, that of an adolecent blossoming into what would eventually be another male in a pride of genetically massive lions.
He hopped onto a boulder to get a better view of the lands and stretched decadently. "No wonder lions tell stories about the pridelands. This has to be the opposite of the desert sands." He could only imagine how pampered those who lived here would be.

Ny looked at him and chuckled.
"These lands seem too easy. Surely only the lazy would live around an area such as this." She looked around. She had lost the playful touch she had and turned more serious, they were hunting now, they could play afterwards.
She let her eyes scan the area. seeing lions dotted about who didn't seem to notice them, it annoyed her a little, the firekin in her still very proud. She let it slip though and waited for Ra to make a decision. She looked to him as the leader, he was older after all.
