Shahaab
Shooting star
Species: Lion god
Gender: Male
Age: Adult
Domain: The Stars
Hair: Silver; Short and very messy, but not in his face in the least
Coat: Light cyan blue w/ white markings(See Danzi for most) and a shooting star on his left shoulder(Metalic-silver); Dark cyan blue over his eyes(Something like Bodaway's eye markings, or Mufasa as a better general idea)
Eyes: Gold
Wings: Multicolored like the colors of stars, going from the coolest temperature to the hottest - white -> red -> orange -> yellow -> green -> purple -> blue
Jewelry: Only a double-piercing in his left ear, a clasp-like ring on each side of the ear connected by a silver chain that has another coming off from the meeting point leading down to a yellow star-shaped gem(Something like a rosary)
Other edits: Ears perked forward, like the adult male Pridelander art; A happy, slightly open-mouth expression; A thinned-out body, but not too thin, to look lean, including forelegs, of which should be raised in a playful gesture(Almost something like the adol female god art, but not... If that makes sense); Wings splayed out as if ready to fly
Children: Kohrisu
Backstory/history: (A portion of this involves Novastrike's cub, Kabichi, and her father. Names are used with permission
heart Because when we knock heads... Yeah... Big plot ensues

For as long as lions have looked up upon the stars, so has Shahaab existed. Even though he was always in the 'shadow' of the Sun God during the day, he made the stars shine bright when the Moon God had control over the night. And so he existed for millenia, watching as lions were born, grew, died, and changed. As the great kings rose and fell, stars were added to the sky. It seemed to the lions a miracle that should a great king die, a star should be born. And so the belief began to pass through generations of the great kings of the past. Shahaab enjoyed such a tradition, it made him feel honored. Now and then, he slipped down from the heavens and mingled with the mortals. It was during such a liason that he met a lioness of, to him, great beauty. They flirted, they played, they got to know each other. And in time, a cub was bore. But this cub signalled a turning point in Shahaab's life. Not only did he learn the meaning of heartache as his mortal love died, but so too did he learn that females just weren't his calling. But at such a moment, that mattered not, and he whisked the cub, his only son, away from the danger. And so he raised his son away from all danger, nurturing the best he could, and watched with heavy heart as his son found a lady love all his own, but swelled with pride as the two bore a pair of female cubs, twins but for the colors. And once again, the starry god was happy. Even if not what one expected, he had a family. In such a time, the stars shone brighter than ever. And the lions saw this, though they understood not why, but questioned it not. But alas, not all things shall last, and Shahaab soon found furhter heartache as the family was split up. He could find his son nowhere, his son's lady lover was missing, as was one of the cubs... Now he mourns, keeping a watchful eye over his remaining grandaughter. It is said that when he cries now, the stars seem to weep with him.
