[[Private Roleplay between Kin and Karma]]

Karma strolled past the row of trees on the edge of the forest. Stretching in the sunlight that now bathed her dark pelt, she stopped and looked around. Even in this cooling weather the temple area bustled with malu. She was surpised at the number and diversity of all the malu she saw. Even in November at the temple oasis, the cold air would n** at your nose.

Before heading toward the temple she stood in the sun, letting it warm her body which was cold form the journey through the forest.

Kin leap gracefully from mossy rock or mossy rock. He even throwing in a flip here or there.

Instead of venturing inside the temple, Kin lingered by the edge of the forest; too nervous to make his first quest into the temple. There were just too many unknown faces. Kin knew he would stride into the temple proudly if he even atleast one malu in there.

So, Kin remained a little ways away from the temple. But he didn't really mind. Playing around under the warmth of the sun was enough.

Karma heard a little bit of rustling to her left. Looking over she saw a brightly colored young malu doing stunts off a rock. The malu didn't seem to have any purpose around here, and was just biding their time, one might say. Karma headed over to malu, hoping nothing was wrong, as she had never seen a malu doing flips from rock to rock before.

She approached slowly, making sure not to scare the little one. She could tell now he was a male by his actions and his build, he was more muscular and rugged then any girl she'd seen of a similar age. She would wander off course slightly on her way, to make it seem like she wasn't meaning to go straight to him, for if he didn't want company, she wasn't going to force it on him.

Kin was startled when he caught a glimps of a dark figure out of the corner of his eye. Turning his head to take a peek at whomever was approaching. This however, was not a smart decision at all. After taking his eyes off of the next rock; Kin was doomed.

Before losing his footing and missing the next rock, Kin got a full view of a curious looking, black malu with fragments of purple scattered across her body. The instant Kin hit the grassy earth, he was back on his feet; placing a bashful grin at the radiant malu. She was the first malu that he'd ever been near, so Kin was extremely eager to have a conversation. Despite his desire to run up and begin talking to the other malu, Kin remained frozen where he stood. Too nervous to approach the older, female malu.

Karma watched as the younger malu fell, and immediately was startled. And she also noticed this was her chance to make conversation without seeming strange.

She trotted over quickly to the malu, "Are you alright? I saw you fall when you jumped just then..." She slowed and then stopped a few feet from him, his coat was vibrant in the fall light, and she then noticed his distinct markings of green, yellow, and light blue. He reminded her immediately of fruit. "Do you need any help? I can probably go find some othes if need be.." She was worried about his well being, her eyes darted from him to the temple a few times.

Kin smiled dumbly, which was strange considering the fact that on the inside he was thinking, "Ouch ouch ouch!" This pain was no match for Kin's hungry for a friend; no match for a conversation.

"Oh that? I just miscalculated the length between the rocks, that's all. But I'm sure it's nothing a little stroll through the temple couldn't fix..." Kin tried to say this discreetly, but realized he failed miserably the second he was finished with the sentence. As not to scare the malu off, Kin quickly changed the subject to, "The sun sure is pretty isn't it? I feel as though it give me strength and energy. Do you feel this way aswell? Just wondering 'cause you seemed to be toasting in it earlier."

Karma tilted her head. Had this young on been watching me? She giggled lightly, "Yes, I love the sun. It's rays are very invigorating." Karma looked up at the clear sky again, seeing not a cloud there. "I'm glad you're okay though... We wouldn't want you getting hurt, now would we?"

"I am Karma, follower of the God of Fate, member of the nature pack." She bowed her head slightly. "Did you say you wanted to go into the temple?" Karma posed this question with a smile on her face. She actually loved children. She was much like a child herself still, she loved exploring and finding new things. And this young one reminded her or herself whens he was younger. "Were you planning on going earlier? Are you afraid to go in alone?" She didn't mean to insult him by her last comment, but in the way she said it she thought she might.

"Karma.." Kin repeated, with his eyes in hazed stare. Then he quickly shook his head. "I'm Kin, a follower of the Sun God. I'm in the Nature pack too!" Kin spat out excitingly. He hadn't talked to another malu in a while, so he was taken back by Karma's open kindness.

"To be completely honest, I terrified to go in alone! I've never see so many malus in one place before.....If you hadn't come along I probably never would have even thought about going in...." Kin answered, hanging his head pathetically. "I would love to go inside the temple if you'd come in with me...." Kin said, barely speaking the last words before his face turned completely red.

Karma thought Kin was adorable. He was so open and honest about everything. She smiled at him. She loved children, they were almost always so full of energy and ready to go on an adventure. She had not seen him around the Nature pack before though, which worried her slightly.

"There are a lot of malu here. But most of them are warm and kind. Also, I'd love to join you on an adventure into the temple!" She seemed to perk up slightly, her eyes lighting up. "Do you know where the shrine for the God of the Sun is?" Karma wasn't so sure herself, but normally, similar gods were put together. She knew some of her friends who followed celestial gods, and knew them to go to the south wing on most occassions. "If not, Kin, we can always just go looking around."

"Shine to the Sun God?" Kin repeated, tilting his head. At this moment Kin realized that he had never even known there was a temple to his God. Kin didn't want to embarrass himself infront of his newly aquired friend, but he didn't want to lie to Karma even more. "I'm sorry.....but I don't know where it is.....But I wouldn't mind trying to find it!!" Kin said as he was perked up by his last statement.

"I've never been to a real shrine before, so it would a really exciting venture!" Kin said as his face light up with excitement. Then he started playfully prancing and swirling in circle around Karma.

Karma giggled as the young one travelled around her in circles, following him with her eyes. "Well, then.." She knelt down so she was at eye level with him, "We'll just have to go exploring and find you your shrine!"

She didn't mind at all going with Kin to find his shrine. In fact, she enjoyed a good adventurous search for the infamous shrine.

"Let's go, partner!" She slowly walked ahead a few paces toward the temple.

Kin was so excited; he was going into the temple, going to find the shrine of his God, and he made a new friend all in one day! This was the most he'd done in weeks. Before it had just been find food, find shelter.

Kin realized that he was just standing in place with his mouth hanging over; thinking about the day before it even got started. He quickly got to his feet and pranced until his was even with Karma. Out of the corner of his eye, Kin gazed at Karma. He felt himself suddenly relax. The big world had once him afraid.

But now, he had someone to help him through it.

((Sorry it took so long. I just can't tell you how busy I've been lately. But after this weekend I should be able to reply regularly 3nodding ))

Karma moved at a slightly slower pace than normal as to let him stay easily at pace with her. She looked down at him, eyeing his bright coloring once more. It made her happy whenever she looked at him, his bright colors seeming like a happy day or something. She continued to walk to the temple, silently, as if in deep thought.

As they neared the temple, she had her choice of wings since they didn't know yet which are the shrine was in. "Let's try the east wing." She said as she entered the main entrance and moved toward the corridor in the east wing. She knew that other sky and space related gods were in the east wing because it was the easiest to see the sun rising in the morning. She smiled at him as she felt the cold marble beneath her paws. "If it's not there, we can always try somewhere else. But I do have a feeling it will be there."

Kin couldn't help but skip a little as he walked along side Karma. He's never been in a temple, period. All the strange objects and writing excited him.

Only minutes later and it seemed like they'd been walking for forever! They hadn't even found the temple yet. Most of his days, Kin just layed around in grass or on rocks. He wasn't entirely use to walking this much. Kin tried to keep going strong though because he didn't want to seem weak in front of Karma. She walked along easily with grace. That was defently something he needed to work on, grace. Walking along, Kin tried to walk with his back straight and his head up. This gave him quite some trouble though, because of his clumsey feet, so he just gave up.

When he looked forward though, Kin saw something strange around the next corner. There was a very brite light shining...
