Ok. I'm sorry to all who entered but I have some bad news. I cut off the special awards. Here're my reasons (and if you can convince me to put them back in, I might add them back):
(The listed things are not in any order whatsoever)
1. I want to start this contest and I'm sure you do too. The reason why this contest hasn't started yet is because I don't even have the gold for it. So I cut off the three prizes.
2. It brings more competition. If you want the main prize, you'll make better effort in knowing you want to win it. Although, I'm really sorry that it's a bit small. crying
3. This is the main reason I cut it off. There're 8 contestants and there would be 5 prizes. If 5 of the 8 contestants got prizes, the balance of the prizing would be rather unfair (especially to the 3 other contestants). Also, I noticed that I had answered Skymeri's question about using pencil, CG or anything like that.Leri Hmm... you know, I was just thinking about that lol But no, there won't be a difference. Like I posted, the picture will be graded on: creativity, originality, overall composition and the emotion that your picture brings (if any). I find it unfair to grade art on whether its a CG or not because some don't know or don't have the programs to do a CG picture so no, there won't be a difference. But because you asked such an intriguing question Skymeri, I'm gonna put three more prizes up xd
If you want to convince me to go back to the original prizes, feel free to PM me.

THE TASK AT HAND
You must draw at least one character of Tanemura Arina's xd It can be your favorite, it doesn't have to be. You'll be graded on:
1. Creativity
2. Originality
3. Overall composition
4. The emotion that your picture brings (if any)
5. And of course, how well you draw xd
You may enter up to 5 entries and it doesn't matter if you have two characters (take Haine and Usio) on one entry.
You can make them wear whatever you want, you can position them however you want, you can decide a background...etc.
If anyone would like to volunteer to be a judge, please PM me. crying I don't wanna judge alone~--BUT if you are participating in this contest, you can't be a judge.
You must post your entries in the thread, DO NOT PM IT TO ME.

RULES
1. You must follow these listed rules.
2. Don't be mean to the other participants (ex. don't insult their entries)
3. You can enter up to 5 entries.
4. It has to be one of the characters Tanemura Arina made. You ABSOLUTELY CANNOT enter with a character you made up in Tanemura Arina's art style and call that Tanemura Arina's character.
5. NO PORNOGRAPHY (mild nudity is ok I guess but I doubt anyone here would draw that)
6. DON'T YOU... DARE STEAL ART THAT DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU!
7. Have fun~ heart
8. YOU CANNOT TAKE A PICTURE THAT BELONGS TO TANEMURA ARINA AND DRAW IT! I want a picture drawn by you, thought up by you.

THE GOODIES (PRIZES)
1st Place = 10k + July 2005 letter
2nd Place = 5k
All other participants will receive 250g biggrin
NO ONE MAY WIN 2 PRIZES! IF YOU HAVE ALREADY WON ONE, THAT IS IT.
EDIT: The three extra prizes that I promised Skymeri will be the following:
The three extra prizes is 1k each (so each entry that won earns 1k). It will be determined by votes from the members of this guild and the judges as well. They will vote based upon their three favorite pictures out of all the entries. I will PM them to see which of the three entries they picked. Out of your favorite entries, you can only pick ONE from every contestant.
This prize does not go to the 1st and 2nd place winners because they have already won something. These three extra prizes are for people who did not win 1st or 2nd place and are given the chance to win 1k for their entry.

Caprika I might join when does it end? cause I will probably start as soon as schools over which is soon. Or maybe like on friday sometime this week I guess but i'll have to have a friend scan it for me
Unfortunately, I really don't know when it starts or when it ends... (because I don't have the prizes yet) o-o;; This is all just a plan for an upcoming event.
Skymeri I'll join. But will there be a difference if the picture is drawn in pencil instead of computer? @_@

I HIGHLY doubt the contest rules/criteria will be change xd You can start drawing now. I want my contestants to have as much time as they have to present a really good picture heart
The only thing I ask is that you post the picture from the time the contest starts to the time the contest ends
