What religion, or not, are you? I am a spiritual Christian. Most people would say I that it doesn't exist. It is a very unique belief. I believe in the Lord and God. I do not, however, believe that the Bible is the word of God. It has been proven that Constantine the Great brought together different Christian beliefs to unify the land. Each Christian belief group debated until they all could agree on a belief system for everyone to follow. I believe in evolution, God, the Lord, heaven, and reincarnation. I could go into a further discussion. It is kind of late right now and I don't feel like it.

I was baptized Roman Catholic, but have floated from denomination to denomination, finally renouncing the faith altogether sometime this past summer. (I think it was right around the time that I was replacing my blood with vodka.)

I'd love to get back to it...but it's like I can't.

I guess Christian...Kinda. I don't follow many of the things of should, but I believe in the Christian god. I guess it's like I believe in the Christian god, but I don't expect any of the benefits at the end. sweatdrop

I don't identify as a particular religion because I don't have the time or motivation to actually devote myself to it, and I feel like if I didn't, I'd somehow be cheating that religion.

But if I wrote down all my beliefs, they're pretty close to Buddhist. Theravadan, I think.

At first I was a Christian (Baptist), but I left that faith and started some searching of my own. I spent a lot of time doing research on Wicca, which held my interest because of my mother. After a while I decided that wasn't right for me either, and for a while I was agnostic.

However, I became more and more convinced that a God did exist, and didn't just have my doubts. I have started to follow my own religion.

Basically, I believe that there is one God, but that It can and has taken the form of every God/dess that people in the past, present, and future have come to worship. It is because of this that respecting the beliefs of your neighbor is best if you believe in God, especially if the belief in question concerns God. To show intolerance for a Muslim when you're a Christian BECAUSE they're Muslim is a disrespect to Allah, which is just another form of the God you worship. I call this the Law of Subjectivity.

I sometimes refer to God as AEG(All-encompassing god) and refer to AEG as It, because I do not believe God has one sex. I also don't feel it is necessary to bow down and worship AEG just for existing, just to show respect for AEG and its teachings.

Sin is defined as any action that harms another without proper justification. This has a lot to do with the Law of Subjectivity. Basically, Sex isn't a sin unless your partner didn't or couldn't consent, unlike the sex-related sins in the book religions. Killing isn't a sin unless it was in cold blood or something. Etc etc. Also, if you sin you must be rid of it by a.)being regretful (whether or not you did this is judged by AEG) and b.)allowing for retribution (enforced by man).

I'd go on and on about this, but it'd take volumes. Plus this looks long enough. Sorry about that, it's a slow day and I'm kinda bored. sweatdrop
