Elawi had stopped to look at a bird that sang while sitting on a tree branch. Elawi just adored the thought of singing but out loud with someone watching was just not in her. Suddenly the bird hopped to another branch and then another. Curious Elawi followed quickly not paying attention that she was quickly loosing her way in the forest. Suddenly as the bird stopped Elawi realized her father nor mother were anywhere to be seen. Gasping she backed into a tree not sure what to do, she looked up at the bird whom was still singing its heart out. Elawi looked about once more time before laying on the ground figuring staying still would be better than running around aimlessly. At first she hummed a tune simular to the birds before she begain to sing abit in a hushed yet sweet little voice. "Mommy, Daddy, come find me please. Im abit frighten by the sound of the breeze. Alone in the shade in the grass I have laid. Till you come and get me no longer afraid." Making up the words made her less frightened as she waited to be found.

The full grown daughter of Saissis stretched her long wings as she walked along the forest path. Hints and dabbles of shade painted areas growing fair bunches of velvet moss along the path she walked upon. Hooves sinking lightly in the ground where the green carpet grew thick and moist where ever she stepped. Here in the dense forest there was no drying sun that was discipating due to winter's grasp headed toward the South of her.
Not knowing what true winter was the ice mare could spin quite a few yarns about her element and all its wonders. A covering of white as far as the eye could see. This made the sea swept mare smile quite content to imagine something so grand. As she walked along bobbing her head she sensed a voice as high as a the little squeak of a field mouse. Swiveling her ears she listened, realizing it was a voice, one that wavered in a frightened tone. Frowning she walked slowly tow ard the tiny voice w ondering why and whom seemed distressed.

Hearing the sudden sound of moment near by Elawi cuddled agaisnt the tree abit more. She shivered lightly because of both fear and the cold that brushed over her. She whinned lightly wishing her father or mother were standing strong beside her agaisnt whatever unseen foe this forrest had to offer. "Ill show no fear when my poppa is near. Ill shed no tear when my momma is here." Elawi's voice shuddered as she tried to vanish her fears through song. What was she going to do if it was some kalona or skinwalker she thought. Sing them away? No that woudnt work and she knew there was no out running them either, so what was she to do?

Nitika could sense the trembling long before she found the tiny horned foal. All alone sitting in the heart of a shadow the little one was terrified of anything. Tilting her head she grounded her wings so as not to startle the youth and balance herself.
Speaking in a hushed tone as soft as the calmest wave she greeting the foal. "Hello there little one. Might you be lost way out here in this deep wooded terrain?" Her eyes running over the pale beige colored coat with the shining spiral like her herd mate Glory and a few others had. She felt concern for the baby as her own mother felt toward her daughter that did stay behind.

Elawi raised her head swiftly to look at the mare that had spoke to her. Still new to the world the foal hid herself under her front hooves and her lion like tail. Despite the kind hushed tone the mare had given Elawi shivered like the tip of a rattlesnake's tail from the fear of ones she didnt know.
After a moment of this the foal summoned the courage to speak in a squeaky quivering voice. "I...want my mommy......and my daddy.....I....I..I followed a tweeter and and when I I looked up again...I I ...dont know where I am." Finishing her sentence with a high pitch whine she begain to cry wrapping her tail tighter around herself.

Nitika felt an almost mother-like instict whickering softly and blowing upn the little one. Being lost was in no way fun nor was it healthy. She flinched swiftly though when the sounds of the forest caused her withers to prickle. Standing closer to the foal she looked about smelling deeply of any threat looming.
"I've gotten lost myself many times. Even my brother was the same way. But you're safe now since I'm here. Nothing will harm you if I can help it" she nodded looking at her little companion.
Ears still listening to anything there she'd do her best to fend it off.
